Breakfast was great and Rachel was very nice.
Wifi was not working on out room to well so I had to hot spot from my phone. I also didn’t ask for assistance so I can’t claim that they wouldn’t have fixed it

-The whole experience.
-Location.
-Breakfast is good (it doesn't have much variety, but there aren't many guests too, so it would be a waste).
-Tip: If you rent a car from Ilha Verde, you can park for free at the right side of the road where the hotel is, because those slots are reserved for that company.
-The initial wait at check-in but there was an issue, so it was an exception.
-No information on how to check-out.
-Parasitic noises due to being an old place.

Location and staff were excellent. Super clean and bed very comfortable. Can walk almost everywhere from here.
Room small and furniture too big. Hard to move around. Strange smells in the entrance.

The host was amazing. The building had great character. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Comfy beds and wonderful shower and bathroom facilities.
The door lock was tricky and there was a slight musty smell.

this place is magical, I felt like staying in a museum or one of those English house that you see in Agatha Cristi shows. the staff ( Sandrine and Raquel) are just amazing, they really made me feel at home, with the special breakfast that they prepare daily, I felt like a true royal. I even had the pleasure to meet the landlady ( Teresa ) she is magnificent. the place is located waking distance from the city center, several shops and restaurants are nearby. Sandrine was very helpful regarding info, where to go, how is the taxi, etc… would love to come back during the winter, just to enjoy the living room and lighting the fireplace.

Great staff, nice property with history, excellent breakfast with customised service.
A/C in our room was very loud for sleeping, and wasn’t possible to put it on silent mode.

Sandrine, Teresa and Raquel were incredibly thoughtful and always ready to give more information or just have a lovely chat, whethet during breakfast or other moments of the day. The house itself is incredibly beautiful and you can see they take well care of it with lots of love. Last but not least the breakfast is amaaaazing, very complete and you will be able to chat in many many languages that they either speak or understand. Will certainly miss staying here!

In my opinion this is THE BEST place to stay in Azores. Perfect central location to explore the east and the west of the main island. It has unique atmosphere, beautiful decorations and it is situated in the building with fascinating local architecture. Very nice and friendly owner. The breakfast was fresh and really delicious. Everything was clean. The place looks even better in reality than on the photos. Beyond expectation. We loved every bit of our stay. We left at 4AM with early morning flight (the airport is 5minutes drive away) and the owner packed us to go breakfast and called a taxi for us.

Everybody is so friendly and helpful at this Casa owned by the lovely Teresa! Gorgeous historic house with gigantic entrance hall that used to be a chapel.
Breakfast is fabulous, very varied and superb quality. Best location for Ponta Delgada, on a quiet, beautiful historic Square. Clean room, big bathroom. Cosy garden.
I did not realize the room was on the ground floor at the street side, so not ideal to leave the windows open to enjoy the view. They do have 1 room on the upper floor.
The beautiful garden is open to the guests until the afternoon, unfortunately not in the evening (which is when we came back from our trips).

We had a wonderful and amazing stay in casa do campo.
Firstly, how can one not be impressed by the immensity of the house (palace)? Simply you cannot. It is like a time trip back to the early days of settlement in the Azores.
The entire house is spotless and extremely comfortable!
One special mention about Teresa and Sandrine. They are extraordinary hosts, capable to make you feel comfortable and super in giving advise where to hike and what to visit in the entire island.
Breakfast: wonderful!!! Fresh local products every day, even herbs from the own beautiful garden.
Parking was extremely convenient; just in front of the house.
We stayed here in July 2020, during the ongoing pandemic. The hosts make an exceptional effort to keep the house Covid free. It felt very safe to stay here.
