Nada).

The apartment is very close via Etna the main street and next to the beautiful Bellini Park. The owner is very kind and sent me a lot of useful informations. The bed is big and comfortable . Good WiFi, clean.
It is a bit too dark inside the apartment, and you can notice the smell characteristic for old buildings. Also, it's a problem with the segregation of garbage.

The location is decent, room is equipped by everything you need for living
Room was located in the ground floor, with a lot of mosquitoes and constantly barking dog in the yard.

Nice spacious apartment, beautiful ceiling and balcony set up. looking over a park. Area full of locals and their hangouts, but walkable into town. Well equipped with basic travellers needs such as soaps hairdryer and iron.Also very adequately equipped kitchen, and tea, coffee oil and salt. Helpful information and advice from friendly Marco
Key into apartment a bit temperamental!

Central location close to city centre
Host support and quick intervention when needed

Could be better equipped - mainly the kitchen

Everything was working fine during my stay. There were no problems with the heater/Air Conditioner or WiFi.
The property is relatively shabby for the price. For example, I stayed in the middle of the Palermo in the great, bigger apartment that had Microwave, espresso machine, and was stocked with a lot of useful things for the similar price. Also, the apartment is in the basement with no balconies or even windows. So, it feels cold and wet in it most of the time, despite running heater. I tried to watch TV but the signal was pretty bad, although TV was not important. I didn't care as long as Internet was running smoothly. I suggest the owners will prepare the package for tourists with the information about how to connect to WiFi (I had to look for it on the modem literally hanging up in the corridor outside the apartment) and with the information about local activities, etc.

The communication with Marco, before and during the stay was excellent. Marco also helped us with having to take my Wife to the A&E department in nearby Garibaldi General Hospital, which was very much appreciated. We were allowed into the property early to drop off bags so we could take the car back to Catania airport. The property is in an excellent location, being 5 minutes walk to the Alibus airport transfer (just 15-20 minutes ride to the airport) and 15/20 minutes walk to the Greco-Roman theatre, Piazza Duomo, and Fish Market. There are some excellent cafes, restaurant options 5-10 minutes walk away located around Bellini Gardens. The apartment has immense character being in a period building. It is also light, airy and has the added bonus of a washing machine. There are a lot of mosquitos in the area, probably due to the proximity of Bellini gardens. There were Mosquito deterrent devices available, but I would definitely bring your own known deterrent to help with the issue. I would thoroughly recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Catania.

They are kind and helpful in everything.
We were in contact the whole time, getting in and leaving the room went smoothly.
Location is excelent.
The room could be cleaner, a clean painting would do. It was not dirty, it seems to be cleaned regularly, but there was wear and tear from use.
Nevertheless, very good value for money.

Amazing ceiling in bedroom, very spacious, and nice to have a small balcony, host really helpful bringing us a kettle and cups, which were not in the room, also booked a taxi for us to get to airport.
Tiles on staircase , some loose, could be dangerous, would have been nice to have a microwave.

Marco waited for us to give us the keys, even though the plane was 90 minutes late (we arrived at the apartment after midnight). He helped us with information to get from the airport to the apartment.
Air conditioning has a noise above the acceptable resting limit, especially at night

! lovely city park right across street. easy walking distance to market and stores. took the local trolly on city tour. very interesting and worthwhile. great café very near. loved the “loft rooms”.
Bathroom set up was bit cramped but very clean. A bottle of water and coffee availability would be nice.

Quite and cozy place, complete colection of dishes (including teflon pan). The room temperature was well-adjustable by a powerfull AC. Staff speaks English (exceptional for Sicily). Excelent location!
The window in a ground level apartment was difficult (and dangerous) to close. The electricity kept being unstable and turned off several times for the entire house, but this problem was being solved by electrician while we were leaving. There were just a little toilet paper, soap and dishwashing detergent.

location and facilities in the room
I book the room with only a small window, I did not realize that when making the booking although it was visible in the pictures. The room felt like it was underground with such windows and little dark for that reason.

- Location near Giardino Bellini, this area is quiet, more residential (check out the beautiful villas on Via Regina Margherita) but at the same time very close to Via Etnea;
- Marco is a great host, he gave us a lot of useful tips regarding places to eat nearby.
- This type of maisonette is located in a beautiful palazzo, which sometimes also comes with disadvantages for modern day living standards: if you like a lot of light&windows, this might not suit you;
- The shower area could use some more cleaning & renovations.
