I loved its ambience, professional and super friendly staff, location - in the middle of everything, super walkable. I enjoyed its breakfast and room (suite)
I didn’t quite like that music and street noise was up until midnight but was ready for it and don’t blame the hotel. I also think that bathrooms may have some ventilation but again, I am absolutely ok with it but some folks may be disappointed

Armazém was in a prime location next to a ton of great restaurants, shopping, and landmarks. It was so clean and beautifully designed. The staff was incredible and made us feel very special!
The room we stayed in was a bit small with little room for all our belongings and little counter space to get ready for the day.

Perfect location and the staff was beyond helpful! We were honestly teated like kings and queens by every employee here, couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Location was amazing- right in the heart of Porto, within walking distance of most attractions, and easy access to the metro/ tram if you want to go further afield. The design and warmth of the hotel is so unique and characterful. Rooms have high ceilings and beautiful furnishing which feels spacious and comfortable, despite not being the biggest. Bathroom was lovely and well equipped too. Breakfast was exceptional also, with lots of selection and brilliant service. That brings me onto the staff, who could not have been more helpful with room queries, activity guidance and restaurant recommendation. Excellent value for money, given room rates were quite reasonable at the end of July. If we return to Porto, we will be staying at Armazém!
Not really very much that we didn’t like, just things to consider if you have personal preferences. The hotel isn’t too bright with natural light, but we were comfortable with this given the building’s historical purpose has informed its design and therefore this feature. It is also quite a small hotel (but again, the intimate feel is what gave it warmth, and something we really liked).

The hotel is an architectural design gem in the heart of the historic center of Porto. It is beautiful and interesting, but also very cozy. You can easily enjoy a rainy day inside. Our room was well equipped with pretty design elements. The breakfast buffet is small but of high quality and super tasty and beautifully presented. The staff is amazing. Their mission is to make you happy and comfortable. And this is true for everyone, housekeeping, reception, breakfast service - extraordinary!
There was nothing we didn’t like.

Gorgeous spacious apartment. Amazing view of Porto. The staff went above and beyond and quickly came to our assistance when a phone was dropped under a bed and found itself in a really difficult spot to access. THANK YOU.

Amazing location, the hotel is very special, clean and calm
The staff were very kind and helpful
The breakfast was very good.
In our room (number 4) the shower was separate from the toilet and sink and it was less comfortable for us but no big deal

The breakfast service was professional and well done. Hot items were cooked to order and delicious.
We loved the architecture of the property-the combination of old and new was genius. We stayed in the apartment which was spacious and thoughtfully furnished. Other than the crowds(which was fun to view from the balcony) we enjoyed our stay at the Armazem
The endless crowds! But this is is to be expected in the height of tourist season.

My stay at Armazem was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail. I had the deluxe suite and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was delicious and the location was excellent.

Staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Room was very clean. Location was great close to several places to eat.
Parking was the only issue and the parking garage was very expensive.

Here are the things that we loved:
- Customer service - Frederica and the rest of the team were just wonderful! We really appreciated the empathetic approach to all our requests, it makes such a difference when people are genuinely nice when you are tired from traveling!
- Location - super central, you are steps away from everything
- Peace & quiet - the hotel is miraculously insulated from the outside noise. There are only nine rooms, so it felt very peaceful, never busy.
- Delicious breakfast, you can pre-select items a la carte and they will make them for you every morning
- Mattress & linens were fantastic, super comfortable! Both of us slept really well. The mattress was memory foam-style and there was a choice of memory and down-feel pillows, so you could choose. The linens were high quality.
- We really appreciated the complimentary bottle of water upon arrival. So many hotels forget to do this.
- The bathrobes/slippers were a nice and useful touch
- Accessibility - there is an elevator
Please note this is only helpful improvement feedback. We really enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to stay again. We stayed in Room 5, so this may not apply to other rooms :)
- The lighting - the whole hotel and our room had dim lighting. This creates a romantic atmosphere but is not very practical inside a room. It was kind of dark, even with curtains open during the day, because our room faced the courtyard. It was also impossible to apply makeup in the dim lighting. The little magnifier mirror in the bathroom did not have strong enough lighting and was too small, so that did not work. This could all be solved by installing stronger lightbulbs in the ceiling and bathroom, or even better, by installing dimmable lights, so that the guest can regulate brightness. Someone else mentioned this in their reviews.
- When you want to enter the hotel, you have to ring a bell and wait for the receptionist. Also, the cards given to you have the hotel name on them, which is not very secure if you lose them. The more convenient and secure solution would be to have plain cards and to install a security pad.
- The hotel gives you a couple of free teabags/coffees in the room, and then charges for additional ones. This seemed strange, especially for a luxury boutique hotel. We have never staid in a hotel that would charge for extra teabags, normally they just get replenished when the room is cleaned. And besides, you can just take them from the bfast buffet... We would suggest just making these complimentary, it would be a nicer touch :)
- The bathroom could have extra hooks or rails for towels/bathrobes, there were only two, and we had no place to hang the rest.

armazem is a very nice boutique hotel. they renovated an old warehouse - you can even see photos of before. Rooms are very quiet and have enough space. Friendly staff. Highlight is the location - you can be anywhere in 15 min. Parking house is 10 min away.

Very friendly staff, beautiful modern hotel, great location.
would suggest that a couple parking recommendations be stated on the hotel listing for guests arriving by car. there is no street parking nearby and while parking in Lisbon is challenging, there are accessible nearby lots, but some forewarning would be helpful for guests.
