The actual bedroom and bed were nice, the ensuite could do with an update and the communal areas a little tatty but overall I would stay there again for the price as a place to lay my head after a night out.
The ensuite need referring and the communal areas updating.

The location was perfect, the staff where lovely, the room was beautiful! Room 4!
I'd definitely recommend this for a affordable couple of nights away! I'll be back. Only thing is breakfast wasn't available but everything else was perfect
Thank you for a lovely stay

Location was excellent for what we needed
2.6
Good location, nice size rooms, good bedding, towels and drink facilities
An elevator was listed, there wasn’t one. I traveled with an elderly relative who required a lift
Hair dryers listed-none in the room
Our room wasn’t secure. The landing opened onto an open fire escape into an open car park

That is was close to the seafront and cheap
Wasn’t very clean and very cold n the room. The man there wasn’t very nice and made us feel very uncomfortable. We only went to ask about parking for an old couple who was also staying there and he was very rude. Told us that when we got back in not to basically make any noise or he would throw us out (we was only going out for food. He just assumed we was going out all night drinking) if it wasn’t late we would not have stayed there and paid for somewhere else. We got up at 7am and left. when we first got there he didn’t say hello just looked at us. Would not recommend

Nothing not as shown on the advertisement
It wasnt clean or pleasant,on arrival I had to wait for a man that was power cleaning all the sludge away from the entrance electric cable running threw the hall with leaking hose pipe next to it that I had to get passed with cases. The owners were away never anybody around to ask them for help on 3 occasions we tried ringing the bell,as we had no running hot water to our sink my husband had to boil a kettle to have a shave. The shower only just worked one day then the next day it got over heated and unbearable couldn’t Controle the temperature then it went straight to cold it didn’t then work so we couldn’t both have a shower anymore. The shower had black mould all around.
the lower tiles were cracked .The bed was on the floor that s no good. When your young like 18 years that’s ok but when your nearly 60 it’s hard to get in and out of bed it was like sleeping on the floor It wasn’t very comfortable we both had aching backs after 2
nights sleeping on it.It was advertised that there was a lounge with a bar that was always locked and never any staff around. The pictures advertised didn’t look like the actual place and inside are room wasn’t like the pictures shown.Nobody-really introduced us to everything that was available ,the carpets on stair’s and corridors were dirty.
No staff not a very welcoming place a-tall we shall not be going ever again.

Friendly staff, really comfortable bed, and a lovely room.
2.6
Just the location.
Would not recommend at all. The place is run down, needs lots of work. Not very clean and cobwebs everywhere you look. No running hot water. Had to shower in another room (shower trickled water) after waiting 45 mins for ‘water to heat up’. Water never got hot so think boiler broke. Would not rate as 3* at all. Won’t be returning or recommending this hotel.

View from room
The hotel was very very run down, it desperately needs decorating it smells funny and needs fumigatimg. The rooms are not as pictures in booking description at all very old fashioned and dated. We paid to upgrade to Seaview the room was tidy and clean but again dated. There was no bar so the hotel owner said his partner would go get us some he brought a full crate but charged us 10 pound for 4cans! No breakfast the dining room was full of junk and and equipment . Not very nice at all would never stay here again

Excellent mini break !

Located on sea front
Run down generally, shared toilet out of order with a bad smell in the stairwell. Appreciate this was probably a temporary thing. Room was ok but all a bit dated.

Location
Shower needed some work, looked a mess eith tiles broken all over.
Also we was greeted my a gentleman who was very rude
The previous family who checked in before us said the exact same thing as we was checking in.

Not a lot
Rude staff, very abrupt. I booked this hotel for my brother. On arrival was told he would be chucked out if he broke any rules. Check out was up to 10.30 but at 9am he was told to leave and hand the keys back.

The location of the property great, The view was good,
The staff are not very happy, The room smelled strange like it had not been cleaned and the rooms are cold, not value for money, CCTV camera bang outside the room which is weird
property needs some upgrades as it looks tired
2.6
had parking, was really good value and the location
didn’t dislike anything, we got what we paid for
2.6
rang to explain I would be late for check-in due to the trains, the manager said that would be fine but when I arrived nobody was at the property so couldn’t get in! Tried ringing the number on the door and website but it just went straight to voice mail! It was pissing it down with rain so cheers for that!

The hotel is central. Close to beach. Boating lake and Pier.
The owner was very rude. We stayed as a mature couple in 2 rooms and 4 grown up children in a room and my son came and slept in a campervan outside at last minute as the hotel had a no vacancy sign on the door. The owner accused us of sneaking my son in to sleep(which he didn't) and said he had been watching us on cctv which was a little unnerving. The hotel advertises a bar dining and roomservice. Non of which were available. At a cost of £154for the night for beds it is overpriced. We travel a lot and I have never been spoken to like that before any where we have stayed.

close to beach
What can I say, a terrible place to stay very deceitful the images totally miss sell the room you get and do not reflect the stay given in anyway shape or form, shelves loose, mirrors cracked, most bulbs don't work, remote for tv didn't work, chairs and decor is dreadful, a horrid smell in the room that doesn't go, curtains that don't conceal the windows, walls cracked leaky sink and peeling wall paper. No hair dryer..Don't get me started on the staff! When it's not left abandoned the staff you do see and talk to are incredibly rude, aggressive and treat customers with utter contempt. You literally pay them to risk being thrown out before you even arrive they block your number so you can't contact them and as they put it in the welcome pack they can repossess the room at managements choice for nothing and you don't get your money back, keys cost £35 if you lose them we so no bar or restaurant, left outside waiting to check in and no one appears until you find a way to ring their mobile number then some depressive looking woman gives you keys and a room number with no welcoming or any interest in your stay here. Way way over priced in fact it shouldn't be priced at anything considering the fake images they use to entice you to stay, a huge amount of negative reviews to which I'll be adding to it and all you get is an apology and then saying they will improve on your next stay, I can't categorically state no one with their right mind would ever come back here and if you knew what you was coming to you would avoid this place at all costs. Threatened to not let us stay here with two 4 year old children because we kept ringing withheld as they wouldn't answer after blocking our number. No idea how they get away with what they do and to think kids fall out of windows in OYO hotels I totally see how that happens as they class 6+ year old as adults!

The guy that gave me my key was friendly. I read really bad reviews about people getting charged extra and rude staff, I didn’t have any problems. Not somewhere I’d take my kids for a weekend away but fine for a night by myself while working.
Had to wait outside for 20-30 minutes as nobody was there, there was a number to ring. Room was pretty crappy but for the price I wasn’t expecting much. The lock didn’t work so I took it off and re-fixed it with my Swiss Army knife.
