Beautifully decorated - high class furnishings in a beautiful village
It was cold when we arrived but we soon found the thermostat and sorted it.

The room was beautiful with a huge comfortable bed and stunning free standing bath. We had a great night’s sleep after a fabulous meal downstairs. Staff were all super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, we will definitely be returning to The Plough.

We have stayed before the rooms are lovely
If I had one criticism it would be that the vegetarian choices were limited as we stayed a couple of nights but we could of ate elsewhere

Absolutely loved our stay at the old post office. The house is simply stunning. Also booked in at the plough for our evening meal and the food was sooooo good. Highly recommend the plough and will definitely come back
Nothing, there was a mention of a breakfast pack on the five star stays website which we didn't receive and I'd not bought milk in light of this. Luckily I had taken Cereal etc - maybe this could be removed from the website to prevent confusion

Lovely room & shower facilities. My friends joined me for a meal & we ate in the bar downstairs. Now, the food was delicious, but it was served on a wooden board. A bit '90s & not terribly hygienic. There's a reason people use vitreous china...

It was all excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely; spacious, clean, comfortable. Its the perfect location for me and they welcome dogs.

Beautiful hotel, lovely room and great staff. The food was delicious.
The room was comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need. There were plenty of plug sockets and even usb ports for charging phones etc.
Nice to have a fridge and fresh milk along with a coffee machine.
Although there was a dressing table and chair the mirror was too high to sit and use it.
The outlook from our room was over the back of the property and the kitchen, beer barrels do not the best of views. We could here the extractor from the kitchen until quite late and were woken early in the morning by staff entering the kitchen and the door banging.

Great location, extremely comfortable, 5 star quality decor & furnishings. We loved our stay.

The cottage was amazing, everything was provided and I would definitely stay there again. We were close to all amenities. The staff were extremely friendly.

We didn't have breakfast although I feel sure it would have been good as we had a great meal one evening. It seemed a lot to pay.
Everything was good, apart from the expensive breakfast.

The property was so well equipped and the location so lovely. We enjoyed strolling in the village and the cafe was amazing
We’d have loved more info on the local area in particular dog walks and we found the pub had run out of a lot of dishes

Nice room with good quality fittings and a bath in the bedroom
£38.00 for a couple to have breakfast

Your team was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. Big shout out to Matthew - we thought you were awesome!
The Plough is a stunning hotel that has been beautifully decorated throughout. Our room (number 6) was perfect. The food is exceptional, from the chips and sourdough to the delicious breakfast (sorry we didn't eat it all).
Thank you all so much for contributing to a fun and memorable visit to Scarborough.

Very friendly staff, very good dinner and good breakfast. Bedrooms' furnishing has clearly had a lot of thought. Breakfast is quite expensive, but maybe we have to get used to this reset in prices.
My room overlooked the kitchen extractors, they finish quite late and start quite early!

This weekend my new husband and his best man stayed in a beautiful cottage the night before our wedding and then me and my husband stayed the night after the wedding. Wow. Stunning. The most comfy bed and beautiful bath. Equipped with so much extras like dressing gowns and gorgeous toiletries. Thank you for making this weekend so special with your gorgeous holiday home.

The house was amazing, it smelt beautiful when we walked through the door, the LED candles on and and the radio on the TV were a lovely touch. The bed was soooooo comfy and the bath was huge, so relaxing for a bubble bath and the LED candles made it extra chilled. Loved the fact they left a small bottle of milk in the fridge and provided a few coffee pods for the machine, perfect when its only for one night as you don't remember to pack things like that. We had a fabulous time and already planning our next trip to come back, the village was lovely, people were nice, little café didn't open until 10 on a Saturday morning so we didn't try breakfast as we headed in to Scarborough for the day.
The fire didn't work, we did report this at 5.30pm when we went to the Plough for food and they said they would send someone over but no one came to fix it. I'm just glad it wasn't any colder as this would have spoiled our evening.
