Clean room, nice bed
No beth floor carpet.

Quiet, nice area, stores in walking distance, washing machine in the bathroom, nice balcony.
Very small for 5 people, there is only 1 bedroom available and the rest is sleeping in the living room. The kitchen was filthy, as if the fridge and oven had never been cleaned. Rental price is pretty high for what you get.

Room was large.
How can you call something bed and breakfast without offering a breakfast.
Sharing a bathroom /toilet with 2 other rooms isn't top.

it might be OK for a single person or a couple who don’t mind a gritty place in exchange for close proximity to the Altstadt.
The pictures have absolutely nothing to do with the reality, and we really object to people who think it’s ok to deceive others, especially when selling something. The floor needs a good cleaning and a wax, oil or finish. it looks and feels like a bad bar floor. The bathroom is only accessible through one of the bedrooms, totally disturbing the privacy of whoever stays in that room. There is no internet service. There are strict instructions given about making noise after ten which is a joke because the apartment is ten paces from a bar that parties until 02:00 and people in the street are loud for most of the night. although closing the windows helps it’s not a satisfactory solution especially in the morning when the construction work in the building across the street begins.

Extremely friendly and helpful landlord. Clean and straightforward accommodation. No frills. Ideally placed for the airport - but less so for the city centre.

Peter (the owner) and his mother run a really good, honest guest house (if you want to call it that). I really liked:
- Location to Airport
- Near a station
- Flexibility in checking me in
- Rooms have good facilities (apart from bathroom - see below)
- Timely transfer to airport provided
- Friendly people
- easy to get down town
Dislike is too strong a word but:
- The room I stayed in had a communal bathroom, not a negative in its own right but obviously not as good as having your own.
- Two single beds pushed together to form a double
- This might be me being a tad spoilt but I found the bed mattress to be a little uncomfortable, but a bed is a bed and would still recommend for passengers with flights to catch,

If, like me, you are not afraid of a walk its nicely located close to the Dusseldorf Airport with a 30 minute walk through a nicely wooded area. There are enough restaurants around (provided you don't get there too late). the staff were friendly, and the room for what it was, was fine. The pillow was comfortable, which for me is always a biggy.
It was pretty dirty. Not to the naked eye, but when you look around the corners and notice dust balls then you know. The remote was dirty and fixtures a bit grimy. I did not feel 100% sleeping there.

The host is a nice guy and helps out where he can.
Unclear what you get when booking.

Location and price was nice.
The towels we got were smelly and haven't been changed for all 6 days. The bathroom that was shared with two other rooms wasn't cleaned at all throughout our stay. That includes a bloody stain on the sink and a clogged drain in the bathtub.
There is also no "nighttime quite" in the area so we were disturbed by guys next door having party until 2 am. Unfortunately, there was only a very thin door dividing our rooms so the noise was almost as if the guys were in our room.
The last point is the poor wifi which wasn't even sufficient for regular browsing at times, let alone online calls.
4.5
Breakfast is great, the owner is extremely kind and the apartment is clean.
The only thing that is missing is an elevator. For ones on the 4th floor it can be very exhausting to climb up the stairs with luggage...
