Coldness of property. Poor quality towels
6.0
The little touches from our hostess: milk in the fridge, for example
The smell upstairs. It was impossible to ventilate enough to get rid of the smell. What's more, the duvet smelt dirty, which was a shame because otherwise this flat was really nice.

Lovely village. Everything in walking distance
9.0
Loved how central it was the village itself is steeped in history, chippers to the left of us 10 steps away, Ssmash burger restaurant 10steps across the road, and 29 steps to a lovely friendly old style pub with excellent Guinness, Eamon the owner behind the bar, was great for information and stories Famous Banna beach a 2 km down the road Ballyheige about 4kms, Dingle less than an hour away and Killarney 40mins away, the price for 3 nights mid week was excellent great spot.. Milk coffee/tea and sugar with Chocolate biscuits all there and very welcomed when we arrived.
The noise of the traffic because of a one way system was the only problem, but I had ear plugs do that solved that problem đź‘Ť

Absolutely beautiful

Self contained no breakfast but cafe just down the road which was great. Owner was really helpful with suggestions on places to eat and everything we needed. Great for two or it would be fine if we had kids with us. After reading review about door knockers from kebab shop a bolt on door would have given peace of mind but we had no problems so it was fine and bedroom is upstairs anyway.
Extra towel would have been good.

It was so central and close to other towns. The host was so. Accomadating and left things like milk and water for us it was lovely little touches and very spacious and clean will definitely stay again
Nothing I didn't like

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Very easy to find, Easy driving to all local attractions and just down the road from a beautiful beach. With a great Burger restaurant just across the street, a pizza/kebab shop next door and a really nice bar just down the street it was just so easy !! Property was clean and tidy and had all we needed. Would highly recommend to those that like a central base to explore the area.
Kebab shop next door can get a little loud around 11.00pm to 12.00pm, but did not really bother us as "live and let live" is our motto. But don,t let that put you off, it really is just a few people heading home after a good night out lol.

Location was great, right across the street from a pub and new burger bar, and the hosting hospitality was top notch
Nothing- was perfect!

Apartment was alright. Spacious enough for a family, had nice kitchen for cooking food. Best part about location was the restaurant Katie Brown that had the best food ever!
Pub right across the street even on Tue evening noise didn't stop till after midnight. Kebab shop literally next door, young drunk people shouting and hanging around at the front door. Also reading previous review when garda had to be called because youngsters were banging on the door trying to get in didn't make us feel safe at all!
We had no water which we discovered when we arrived, which we were not informed about. Even thou it was out of owners control as local pipe burst there was pure ignorance when we decided to check out regarding the refund. I had two young children we couldn't flush toilets no warm water, owner showed up at 8am with watering can to flush our toilets which is pure embarrassment and breach of any privacy. Kids had early beach activities which means we couldnt wash went we would come back as the water was promised to be back only after lunch time.
We checked out very early in the morning 8am after only staying the night, while paying fortune for last minute alternative accommodation, changing our location which adds petrol costs. Not to mention the hassle. And owner said well you can have an extra night when u want. No thank you I won't be traveling again 500km to stay in this apartment!

Property was in a beautiful town with beaches just short drive away. The space was perfect for our group and had everything we needed. Cannot fault the hosts for anything, they were very kind and helpful and even offered us a drive to the beach when we needed.

Very spacious and well appointed. All the basics one needs for a base to explore the local area. Everything you need on the door step.
A little noisy with fast food place next door.
