A gem in Agra!

This accommodation has been a highlight of our holiday so far for the 11 members of our family who spent 2 night here. Walking distance from the Taj made it an attractive booking but it was the exceptionally clean, beautifully appointed and comfortable accommodation that made it stand out! The food served for breakfast and dinner was really great and our hosts were lovely people who were very welcoming and accommodating.

Excellent location to stay and visit the Taj Mahal

The homestay was in an excellent location. It was a 15 min walk to the East Gate of the Taj Mahal. The homestay was in a relatively quiet street. It had an excellent terrace with views of the Taj Mahal (on A good day) plus seating in the front garden. The family which ran the homestay were very nice and our thanks for allowing us to check in immediately when we arrived tired and I was not feeling so well. The room was very comfortable, clean, with a modern bathroom. All meals were vegetarian, Reasonably priced and the family and staff couldn’t do enough for you. I liked the communal eating and should they happen to read this review thanks to the young Spanish couple who helped me out and showed great kindness. A well run homestay. They put me in touch with a taxi service for our pickup from the train station and also supplied details of a guide. Auto-rickshaws were available outside.

We stayed for two nights and nothing pressing springs to mind as regards any faults

An exceptional homestay close to the Taj Mahal

A very clean, comfortable and characterful homestay with all the service, standards and facilities of a 5 star hotel. The food is exceptional and the staff extremely kind, courteous and helpful. We love the comfortable beds and the close proximity to the Taj Mahal.

The perfect homestay to discover Agra

Staff was extremely nice and welcoming, the rooms were bright and clean, the location is great, the terrace was super nice, and the food good.

The Perfect Homestay!

Absolutely wonderful! The hotel (homestay) was beautifully decorated with antiques and interesting art work.The reception area, dining area and the common rooms on each floor were warm, cozy and inviting. We were delighted to see that our room included a large, shared balcony. It was nice to sit out there after a long day of sight-seeing. We ate dinner at the homestay both nights of our stay. It was delicious, as was breakfast. Breakfast was a mix of western and traditional foods. We were thrilled to see a jar of peanut butter on our table. We hadn’t had peanut butter since we started traveling seven months ago. The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Ten minute walk to the eastern gate/entrance of Taj Mahal. The homestay organized a private guide to take us to the Taj Mahal. He was so good, we hired him for a tour of the Red Fort. It’s a little more expensive to hire a guide through your homestay/hotel, but its worth it.

The homestay is a bit far from restaurants and grocery stores, but if your primary reason for visiting Agra is to see the Taj Mahal, then that shouldn’t matter.

Water pressure in the shower and toilet was not very good. Room was rather small.

Comfortable place to stay with an excellent location.

The location of this homestay is excellent - a lovely walk to the Taj Mahal and easy access to enough shops in case you need any sundries. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful offering advice on what to see and do around Agra besides the Taj Mahal. Breakfast was excellent - traditional Indian fare well prepared, with the option of simple toast and peanut butter for those who prefer. The price is very reasonable as well.

Beyond my expectations

I really liked this place and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I hadn't planned any dinner the night I came, but they fixed me a nice Indian dinner and there was no problem to get all the food vegan. The room was very clean and comfortable. The water heated up quickly in the shower and the AC cooled off the room in just a few minutes. I even had a very relaxing balcony where I could sit and have a beer I could buy at the homestay. I forgot something in my room when I left, and the staff kept it safe for me so I could come back the next day and pick it up. I can't recommend this homestay enough.

Very good

Room was clean and breakfast was good. The price is affordable.I would recommend this property as it is secured place within half km from Taj Mahal.

There was no tv for kids. Checkin time is 2pm .

Very Beautiful, Hygienic and close from Taj

The stay was beautiful and very comfortable and clean. Staff were so polite and helped us out quickly. We could book rickshaws through them which was convenient. They cooked fresh food at the stay and it was very hygienic and tasty. Zoya made a pretty henna and made us a wonderful tea. Zoya, Sohail and every staff member at the stay were so sweet and helped us feel at home. Mrs. Beena (owner) is sweet and friendly and Mr. Suraj is so knowledgeable, he shared with us stories of Akbar and Shah Jahan, which were so interesting. The stay is also very close from Taj Mahal, it's at a walkable distance. Will stay again!

Beautiful homestay close to the Taj!

It was my second time staying at the Coral court homestay and I loved it again! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, the bathroom very chic and clean. The staff is extremely nice and caring. We also really enjoyed the delicious food cooked there. The view of the Taj from the balcony and the balcony itself are definitely a plus as is the proximity to the Taj eastern gate.

The room itself was not humid but the bedsheets were for some reason. It was not a big issue at all; just a small point of improvement :)
