Nice room with AC. Big bathroom. Quiet road. It is good value for money. Overall It was a very good stay!
It's 20 mins walk from central ubud and didn't want to take a taxi. A simple table/desk in the room would have been useful

sukma the host here is super nice and helpful. this place gives GREAT value for your money. AC in the room worked nicely. the host sukma helped us in a variety of little situations we had even helping us find a place to stay when we wanted to extend our stay at his homestay but he was fully booked already.
the hot water in the shower lasts about 2-3 minutes. he said it’s because the tank’s capacity is small. at one point we had eaten in the room (delivery) and left the carton boxes sitting on the table and about 30 minutes later we found THOUSANDS of ants everywhere by the food. i guess it makes sense considering the property is basically in the jungle. the host came immediately with any spray and a broom to clean up and the room was as good as new after that so it wasn’t a big deal :)

Staying in Akusara was amazing experience. Got the room on the third floor which was like staying on treetops surrounded by birds. The village where Akusara is located is well taken care of by the local community, clean and safe. It is also walking distance to the center, but at the same time very quiet. In the village you can experience all kinds of ceremonies held by the local community. The room was cleaned almost daily and the bed quality was amazing. Last but not least the breakfast prepared by Sukma's mother was very tasty. It included home grown fruits like papaya. I was very sad to leave.
All was good. Sukma was able to help with any question I had.

It was AMAZING. The room was like from a palace, the bed was perfect, and the views to the palm trees and the rice fields really dreamy.
I’ve been traveling around Bali for a month. Akusara has been my favorite home so far.
I checked out today to come to Canggu and I am already wanting to go back to Ubud to stay at Akusara again.

Cozy Stay! Large room, super comfortable bed, clean, spacious and modern bathroom. I was on the first floor so I didn't have any view but that was ok.
