Beautiful room, very well equipped. Loved the kitchenette, large bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower. Great service with sun beds on beach in front of your beach suite. Sun cushions put out every day for you. Nice pool but sea is calm and warm.
Great shuttle service into Placencia or local restaurants
Loved the space, privacy and peacefulness of the beach suites.
Nothing!

An overall excellent experience… highly recommend if looking for quiet and luxury

We loved the spaciousness of, layout and location of the Villa — and the private pool. We the rooms and beds were very comfortable. We also loved the food at the resort.
Given the property’s ratings and room rate, we expected much more from guest services. They unfortunately negatively impacted our stay - with numerous examples. This is not acceptable for a resort with your room rates, etc.

The resort itself is BEAUTIFUL. The little houses on the ocean with a gorgeous view and beach that looked like paradise with all the gorgeous trees and hammocks. The rooms were awesome! So comfortable and very well set up! Loved the outdoor shower :)
We also thought it was great that they included the bikes, and kayaks and paddleboards at no charge.
Restaurants were pretty great.
These concerns are small since we were really happy with our stay, but just a few small things to mention.
Our biggest concern was the lack of communication via email. We booked a snorkeling tour through them via email before we came, but when we checked in, the guy didn't seem to have any info on it. We were worried it wasn't booked since the lobby showed that tour offered on a different day than what we had booked with them, so we were worried it wasn't available the day we booked it. We tried to reconfirm via email, but didn't ever hear back. Luckily it worked out, but then the tour company didn't send enough transportation for everyone and we had to drive our own vehicle. We also weren't given quite the same tour that the resort had promised us since we were told our second snorkel would be a 5 min boat ride to see the sea turtles, and instead the second snorkel was just in the same place as the first. Not sure if that was the fault of the tour company or the resort, but the resort probably shouldn't promise something that doesn't happen...
The beach was not the softest sand we've been too, and the ocean wasn't super inviting with all the seaweed and pieces of garbage, but not sure the resort can really do much about it since it comes in from the ocean.
The restaurants could be improved a bit. The food was good but not as exceptional as other resorts we've stayed at, and the service could be a little better - we were forgotten about a couple times.

the studio’s are absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a sea view studio and it was great! we could see the water from our bed. the restaurant was amazing.
the property feels more like a gated community rather than a hotel.

Beach front cabins. Hammocks hanging from the palm trees. property was so well maintained. excellent restaurant on site. use of paddle boards, bikes and kayaks. spa was excellent. and… the staff. they were incredible.

Everything was good except for Internet is non-existent. They had to refund me at check out, but of course $250 refund won’t help when you pay $4000 for 6 days. Also the beach is very dirty. It’s almost impossible to swim in the sea as you will find glasses, forks, plastic and all kind of things floating over the water and on the beach. Very disappointing.
The Internet won’t let you even check your email. I’m not talking about streaming, Netflix or anything of that sort. Nothing would work… Sea was extremely dirty as well as the beach.

The gym and rooms had AC which after staying elsewhere is beyond import. The rooms were very comfortable. The food was better than expected-albeit the same menu choices
Def recommend this hotel.

In the end, Naia Resort is a well designed, planned, and maintained destination resort that runs with near flawless efficiency. The structures and supporting facilities are lovely and comfortable, but our kudos and biggest thanks go to the staff! From the shuttle drivers to reception, the concierges who helped plan our activities, and the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping staff were all gracious and wonderful. Thanks to the front desk staff, Emanuel "Manny" and Carlos, the restaurant and bar staff, Joel, Rene, Arlene and Jose "numero uno."
One of the specialty guides and their level of knowledge was perhaps the most impressive during our entire two weeks in-country. From birding to insects, discovering Belizean history and its diverse cultures, the Mayan world of cacao, real chocolate, spices and Mayan ruins, this person is truly amazing and a real asset to the resort. Thank you Wilder for sharing your knowledge and making our time with you in your country so special and unforgettable!

Breakfast and location are a delight. Staff is extremely accomodating, special attention was paid to us especially in keeping us in our room when there was a discrepancy on availabilty.

Room was exceptional, staff were very friendly and helpful. The Spa was great. Nice beach and free kayak and paddleboard.
Continental breakfast included in room rate was quite basic so paid extra for decent breakfast. For the price of the hotel, it would have been expected to have breakfast options without paying extra.

Food was excellent & reasonably priced. Staff was very polite & helpful. Facilities were well kept.
It was a perfect stay!
