Charming old house with a restaurant at the property. Friendly hosts who take good care of this cultural monument.
Small shared bathroom. Beware of low wooden beams above the head inside the house :)

The house and staff were outstanding! Location is beautiful.
It’s better to visit with larger groups, due to the bathroom spacing.

The place is very special, 200 years old and an experience in itself. We arrived late and the staff welcomed us warmly and pleasantly and were amazing in everything! Our teenage children were in a room with 4 beds, a magical and special room and the beds were comfortable, we are in a separate double room on the floor below and this was not a problem.
The children had a shared toilet and shower with 2 additional rooms on the floor, which we did not know in advance, we had a very small and low toilet and shower that were not particularly comfortable, but in the end we managed and in total it was one night.

We had the family room. It was a large room with a king size bed and two single beds in an awesome historical guest house. We took our supper at the Guesthouse and it was amazing!
There are no ensuite rooms.

The house itself is awesome - a typical one from old times. The hosts were helpful and happy to answer our questions.
Be prepared for few outlets in the room in a not so comfortable locations. This is probably normal if you take in mind how old the house is.

Great place and even greater host. He does a true effort to make this place feel like a second home. The house is amazing - authentic, cute, cozy and well prepared. It's very well located, a short drive from the wonderful cave Snezhanka. We had dinner and breakfast, which the host made for us, and was a total delight of local food, home made wine and very enjoyable talk. It's one of this places you can tell are created and run with love into what its been done, so we just wanna thank him and send love back, Благодаря!!
Such a pity we couldn't stay longer because of our schedule.

I really liked the history surrounding the house we slept in, the owners further told us a bit more about it and it was incredibly interesting to hear! Also, the food was delicious and the owners were very hospitable people :) Would definitely recommend!

The bathroom is one on the floor and this could be uncomfortable

Amazing old house. Those who renovated it are amazing people, also to maintain its authenticity!
Only the limited bathrooms and that it is not locked.

An old house, more impressive than what you will see in some of the museums nearby. The hosts are really nice, the food is great. It's calm, near to the historic museum, the church and some more of the local sightseeings. The town itself was a very pleasant surprise too.

The house is amazing, beautiful, old! Besides our "issue" I would recommend this place a 100%. The staff (owners?) are very nice and they prepared a very nice breakfast (so definitely opt for breakfast to complete a beautiful Bulgarian experience). Also enjoyed their dinner! Their options were limited but all was delicious.
I feel guilty writing the bad experience I had but I would've just liked to know what I had to expect with the bathroom situation, this is the reason why we called beforehand (I'm pregnant and a bit more picky on that these days).
We separately booked an extra room for our friends. This seperate room was very tiny and still the same price as the pretty one (but I cannot deny.. it was still cosy).
Moreover, bathroom is for sharing but when we asked the owner about it, he told us that we would be the only ones sharing the bathroom (with our friends) and that the big family room would not be taken in that weekend. When arriving it appeared a whole family of 4 stayed there so we had to share the bathroom with them (so a very tiny bathroom with 8 people in total). In the normal situation it wouldn't be a surprise and to be expected but the owner told us specifically it would only be us. So that was disappointing especially since that family made everything wet.

You get to see and feel history when you are in this house. It is restored wonderfully and still has some little modern commodities. I definitely recommend it and will go back.
And the food prepared by the host was delicious.
