Hotel is in a very nice quiet place, in the nature. Super clean and well maintain.
Free parking available.
Bumpy road. You need a car wash after visit.

A memorable experience!!! We had private wine tasting - just for two of us and I can not explain how unique and special it was, Stefan - the gentleman who leaded the tasting was outstanding. The room - super clean and cosy. And the dining in restaurant La Cave - absolutely magnificent - the food, the service and exceptional atmosphere - can not compare it with any other dining in Bulgaria, I have been so far. Looking forward to visit Chateau Copsa again. Thank you for all the great experience!!!

Peaceful place. Perfect for a romantic getaway.
There are some details to be fixed. But nothing too big

The location and the chateau itself are stunning! There's a pool that wasn't filled yet but I imagine the summer months, it'll be one of the best places for a short holiday.
The only thing that we thought could be a bit better was the serving size of the food, as well as the vegetarian options. The main meals could've been bigger and more exciting.

We had one great experience with the staff - the waitress from the La Cave restaurant - she was the sweetest girl. Can't remember her name, but on the evening of the 23rd she was working and she is short with long black hair and big black eyes. She told us the story of the wine we ordered ("8th"), she spent some time chatting with us about the bees that were in the restaurant (she said the owner had great respect for bees, so they called a specialist to take a gentle care of them, which made us great impression), she was so nice, caring and friendly. This girl should be the face of your hotel.
Rooms are very spacious and comfortable.
All in all - place with great potential, but you should work more on the experience of your guests. There is a lot to explore, but nobody helps you find out about that.
The place is beautiful, unusual and romantic, far from the noice. In order to get there though you need to drive on a black road with sharp stones, which was not the best experience. Yes, might be authentic but not the best road for the car, nor for my sinusitis headache. Anyways, so you get there, you imagine a well-maintained place, but you go to the outdoor pool and there are frogs in it... Nobody cared to cover it or something. It had muddy water, leaves, crate and frogs in it. So, how am I supposed to bring my children here in the summer? There were many things that weren't right for a hotel that keeps such prices:
- the restaurant porch had some old wooden floor that really needs some work,
- there was a broken mirror on the stairs,
- the kids'playground was dirty (and very, very, very small and unequipped),
- the breakfast wasn't anything special, I would even call it poor - like, no omelets for example, just some fruit, pastries, boiled eggs and diary products,
- the restaurant in the main building (La Cave) didn't work, so we asked, if it will be open the next evening and nobody from the staff could tell us,
- and here we get to the real problem - the staff, especially the staff on the reception. They wouldn't even greet you. When you speak with the ladies from the reception, they would act like they don't care. They didn't tell us there is a relax zone with sauna and massages and we are parents to two, so we would really use some time to relax and have massages. When we told them that we were not happy we didn't know about that, they didn't really care. They didn't inform us of anything - how can we buy some wine, is there a tour of the chateau, is there anything they could offer us. Nothing. They were just chatting with each other and not caring about the guests. These people are the face of the hotel and they don't make it look nice.

the staff was lovely.
the property was wonderful especially my room (207).
3.5
The place was very clean, had nice room interior design and offered great wine. The staff was nice and welcoming.
Besides the restaurant and the wine tasting, if you visit in the winter or early spring, there isn't much to do and the view is much more beautiful in the summer.
The restaurant is too pricey, doesn't offer a lot of food choices and all the cooked meals were not tasty, especially when you compare them with their price. The restaurant costed us more than the room and we only tried 1 bottle of wine.
4.5
polite and friendly staff. helpful on all matters.
very quiet mid week and bar closed very early in the evening, though there was no problem for us to sit in part of it.
