Great clean place to stay. Was in town for training. Will 100% be staying there again

My family thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend visit. Would consider staying here again in the future.

Cool place needs a lil update in mattresses . I do have to say that some of our family members felt a presence. In the house and a couple shadows. But other than that cozy.

Great cabin all around: Clean, roomy, quiet and secluded. Kitchen is well stocked. Look forward to staying here again.
Super minor issue: felt was torn on the pool table. Might have happened recently but we were a little bummed not to be able to play.

We stayed here in 9/2018 and it is still a fabulous place to stay. Very well appointed and we love it. We’ll be back!

We loved everything about this cabin and it exceeded all expectations.

Kitchen was stocked great for cooking.

We have stayed in close to 25 cabins through the years. This was our favorite. It had everything we wanted...hot tub, huge space to hang out. Pool table, wood burning fireplace and outdoor firepit, mountain views, space to play games, huge kitchen, rockers and a swing for coffee with a mountain view. Check in and check out were a breeze. We had to drive a bit to find our favorite hikes(we are avid hikers), but it was close to the BRP so the drives were a part of the experience. Highly recommend. We will return!

Great house, good location, plenty of space. Two issues, though: (1) beds are either rock hard or sagging in the middle [it’s time to replace these things], and (2) the pots and pans are falling apart.

it was terrific

The house felt like home, it was the reset we were hoping for . Would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Good location. Not too far from anything. Private. Well maintained Plenty of room. New mattress’s would be nice. Maybe a night light or two would be good. Overall we really enjoyed our visit! It’s a nice house!

7 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 babies....this place easily accommodated all of us. The rooms were big, modern, and quiet. The setting is one of the best we've seen in all our travels with privacy, mountain views, a huge deck with a grill and hot tub, a basement with a fabulous pool table, and a large fire pit in the front yard. We were there for 6 nights and cooked there for 5 of them...easily. What a great place to land after a day hiking, biking, waterfall hunting, tubing, and/or shopping.

We loved it so much! Especially the game room. We were blessed finding this cabin. If we’re going to be in Cherokee again, we’re gonna book this cabin once again. This was our home away from home.
4.8
This home us amazing, plenty of space, comfortable, well stocked, and convenient to some main attractions suck as Bryson City and the Cherokee Casino. Highly recommend!!!
4.8
The cabin is very spacious and is located in a good area. We loved the fireplace inside, and the firepit was perfect for our night time gatherings . However, all the beds need to be updated as they were either hard as wood with plastic sheeting, or very soft and sagged in the middle. Linens were very thin and very rough. None in our party got much sleep. The cabin has the basic amenities, but could use a good overall cleaning as the floors need a good dusting and mopping.
We would consider staying again only if the beds are changed out.

Wonderful weekend. Plenty of space for a group. Very clean and well stocked property. You can tell that the owners love this cabin & want others to love this property as well. New and clean showers. Plenty of extra pillows, blankets, & towels. Great cabin to stay in and cook, watch movies, play games, spend time together, & do puzzles. Would definitely rent this property again.

We enjoyed the seclusion from the rest of the world and being surrounded by the woods. The cabin is authentic and decorated with neat pieces. There are many books, games, and puzzles to keep you busy without leaving the cabin. The kitchen has every tool you would ever need and we appreciated the condiments like sugar and coffee and spices left behind by others. By the second night on the mattresses, we had significant back aches. Our family of 6 shortened our week-stay by one night because we just couldn't sleep another night on the mattresses as they are either very firm(master) or very sunken in and worn out (basement). I think others mentioned it but the window shades are mostly all in disrepair (won't raise) which made it nearly impossible to open a window and feel a morning breeze. They obviously have started upgrading areas like vanities and beautifully painted kitchen cabinets. The new leather couches in the living room are fresh, high quality, and very comfortable. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

We booked for the family to attend a WCU Spring graduation. We all highly recommend the Timberidge Lodge.
We conserved use of water and staggered showers heeding the warning about the pump running dry. We never had any water shortage. We ran the dishwasher once daily and the washer/dryer once. Both caused no water shortage. Hot water quickly reached the upstairs bathroom.
The home was well stocked with kitchen pots, pans, utensils, and baking dishes of all types. We used the electric griddle for pancakes, toaster, coffee pot, large pots for spaghetti and sauce, baking pans, etc. Whatever the cooks in the family needed, they found somewhere in the kitchen. We brought a lot of paper plates and cups as well as plastic utensils, but there were enough real dishes and silverware on hand had we wanted to use them. We suggest that the kitchen be stocked with more cloth dish towels. We could not find a bucket to use when some cool grease was spilled on the floor. We found a mop and used a empty small trash can to clean up the mess quickly before someone slipped.
The home was well stocked with quality white towels. There were even enough for the “younger generation” (20-30 year olds) who think they need to use many a day. There were a washer and dryer. Sheets were crisp white like those found in luxury hotels.. With both well-furnished first floor great room and a lower-level great room, there was plenty of room for everyone to gather or to seek out quiet time for reading. There was a huge stock of games for all ages stored in the closet. The TVs worked and got good signal. WiFi was available. We had no problem getting good cellular service for our phones, etc., in that location.
The 3-D tour on the booking website allowed us to plan ahead as to who slept where. The decor was charming with many interesting additions. The country lodge was as pictured in the advertisement. The rntire family recommends it.

The house was better than advertised, Views were awesome off the deck and it snowed all day on Saturday (3/12/22). The fire pit may have been the best thing, as we stayed around it the majority of the time. We left a good bit of split wood for the next group to enjoy😀 pool table was great fun as temperatures dropped into lower teens Saturday night. Only one improvement may need to replace pool sticks. All of them warped, but it was ok still. Would definitely recommend this property and I feel for sure we will try to rent it again 👍

Great location with amazing views and well furnished, cozy log home. Located just moments from good restaurants and grocery stores. Also, just up the road from great fishing in the tribal waters of Cherokee. Great time!!
