Fabulous place to stay in Ravenna

Fabulous place to stay in the middle of Ravenna, right next to 2 of the main sites. Really friendly and helpful staff; everything brilliantly organised. Good breakfast available for 20Euros pp.

Fantastic location, with amazing view in a period property

Location could not be better, beautiful rooms and antique furniture, lift and very pleasant lounge, early check in and support to arrange taxi transfers

Excellent location and property!

Exquisitely appointments to the entire property with the feel of an ancient villa with 21st century amenities. The staff was so friendly and helpful. If staying here the night before a cruise from Ravenna be aware taxi service is nonexistent on Sunday mornings.

The only drawback was our inability to secure a taxi to Porto Corsini. We opted for the shuttle service which is twice the cost of a taxi.

Very relaxing stay in a beautifully restored Hotel.

Hotel was just beautiful...the hosts have carried out a very sympathetic and well-designed restoration/renovation. We had a fantastic central location and easy access to Ravenna City Centre restaurants. The Hotel was very comfortable, safe and secure. The Hotel receptionist fully explained all details in excellent English during check-in and so we had a smooth transition from a long drive to a very welcome restorative time-out.

We had to negotiate through a Pedestrian Precinct to reach the hotel - possibly a large-scale map could help for access and parking.

Wonderful small hotel with friendly staff.

It was in the nicest part of Ravenna. The owner and the manager were incredibly personable.

I had a car, and driving in this part of Ravenna is restricted. This is not a problem if you contact the hotel in advance. There is a parking lot about 250 meters from the hotel and the hotel can arrange permission to drive in the restricted area to drop off luggage.

clean spacious room in good location

we had a nice big room with a pretty comfortable bed, not crazy for foam pillows. Bath was good, products & towels ok. nice outside space. did not sit in living room, seemed musty. I expected breakfast as it was a b & b, there was none.

no screens, needed window open because warm & a/c off

A good location and a delightful property.

The location and breakfast was good. The room was delightful .there was a sitting room outside our room with complimentary liquors. The garden was lovely and there was tea and coffee always available. The staff were very helpful.

A fabulous place to stay in a city renowned for fabulous mosaics.

The location was perfect, right across the street from the mausoleum of Galla Placidia and Basilica of San Vitale. The room was spacious and the bathroom was large, with a shower that felt like a spa. I could have stood under the rain shower head all day. The air conditioning kept us comfortable, and good sound insulation kept out noises. There is also an enormous library/living area where you can get digestifs provided for all the guests. I would rate Le Case di San Vitale a 12! We loved staying there.

I'd go back in an instant

Great location with hosts that do everything to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. You step out into the old town and the best mosaics in the world. Just wonderful.

Fabulous place.

Beautiful place with fabulous decor., situated in the heart of the historic centre opposite the Basilica di San Vitale! We were looked after so well and breakfast was delicious.

Wonderful location and beautiful room, adjoining library, and breakfast.

The one thing we found irritating was the closure of the hotel at 1pm. Our train (Il Treno di Dante) left at 6pm so we were stuck with our baggage all afternoon.

Exceptional

The accommodations were beautifully appointed. Everything, especially the air conditioning and the plumbing, were in top working order. We were even provided with a refrigerator full of complimentary beverages and snacks. Le Case Di San Vitale is literally a few steps from two of the top mosaic sites.
