Great one night stay

A large room with a large bathroom on a very nice property and a very nice host. A bit away from the center but not far. Very accommodating host for what is probably a 3-4 room property extension of the owners own home. The breakfast room was charming.

The bed was uncomfortable and is the only reason i wouldn't go back. It was a pretty hard or thin mattress and I wouldn't want to sleep on it again. I wish i had realized there were black out curtains in the room but i did arrive late and didn't check. Could use a welcome guide in the room itself that covers the basics.

Very lovely B & B type accommodation.

Lovely B & B, the host was very friendly and helpful. Separate room on suite to the main house. Very clean with homely deco - walkable to the town which was fabulous.

Very nice room with a gracious host that treated us like family.

The host was gracious and treated us like family. She helped bring our luggage upstairs and gave us suggestions on where to go to see sites along with easy directions. At the end of our stay, she spent a lot of time helping us find a taxi to the cruise port so we could get on our cruise. Taxi service in the area was very limited and busy but she was able to keep calling and found one that got us to where we needed to go in plenty of time. We would love to visit again and highly recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect. There was nothing lacking.

quien Location, nice comfortable room, we were able to park the car inside, friendly host.

The breakfast was poor, very good coffee but the food was only sweet bakery wrapped in foil, the kind you buy in boxes in the supermarket, apart from that apples and yogurt.

Peaceful residential respite

Dimora del Emme is located just a few blocks from old town Ravenna in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The owner has refurbished a large home and lives on-site in the main part of the building. There are 5 rooms in a separate wing for guests and a small kitchen/dining room for breakfast or snacks. The rooms are generously sized, with nice large modern bathrooms with curbless showers. Wi-fi is strong. Location and cleanliness are exceptional. And the owner is so welcoming, helpful, and available if you need her. She has two adorable small white dogs that will play if you want them to. The property is totally fenced with a security gate opening to the driveway and the inner yard. The feeling of safety is very strong. Each guest is given a key to their room along with a key to the solid metal gate to come and go as needed. The property has a lovely yard with chairs for enjoying a quiet time or talking and has a good collection of bikes to use for free! Everyone in Ravenna bikes, so being able to bike through town was such fun, despite the narrow streets and sharing with cars. Breakfast was always ready in the morning in the cute breakfast room. All the offerings were of a sweet nature (cookies, muffins, cakes etc.) with no protein choices. There were some apples. The owner was present during some breakfasts and offered to make coffee or tea. I highly recommend this B&B as a clean, quiet respite from the frenzy of old town. Staying there makes you feel like a native.

The only thing that could have been different for me was the bed's mattress. It was very firm, almost hard. Adding a foam topper would be a great help. Also the bathroom shower was stocked with shampoo and shower soap. But the containers were only labeled "B" and "S". When we suggested writing out what was in the bottles, the owner was very receptive and understood the confusion. I used the shampoo for a shower because I thought "S" meant shower gel. If you have an upstairs room, there are stairs to climb and carry luggage up to the two rooms upstairs. That might be a problem for some. It would have been appreciated if breakfast had some options other than sweets. Perhaps some meats or eggs.
