Très agréable

Le rooftop est super agréable on peut y prendre le petit dej. Eau à disposition Chambre assez grande (odeur dans certaines)

Le premier étage où l’on arrive est un peu sale … Dans certaines chambres il y a des odeurs d’égouts L’eau qui coule est jaune au début mais après quelques secondes elle revient normale.

El desayuno incluido es fantástico! El personal súper amable y siempre a nuestra disposición en todo lo que necesitamos. La ubicación está bastante bien, a 8 minutos caminando del centro, a 2 minutos a pie de la estación de bus y a 50 min a pie de las cabañas para ver el sunset, muy recomendable calidad precio

Nette einfache Unterkunft mit bemühtem Personal

Wir haben die Unterkunft sehr spontan gebucht da wir nicht wussten ob wir nach Ankunft in Puerto Princessa am Abend noch einen Transport nach El Nido bekommen - war überhaupt kein Problem, es haben bereits bei der Gepäckausgabe Anbieter gewartet! Daher dann erst im Shuttle die Unterkunft gebucht mit dem Kriterium das wir auch um Mitternacht herum einchecken können, war dann ebenfalls kein Problem. Haben über die Unterkunft auch 2 Touren gebucht was alles Problemlos möglich war! (Tour A Bootstour und die 3-Tägige Bootstour nach Coron war auch zum Glück spontan möglich obwohl alle Anbieter welche ich im Internet gefunden hatte bereits ausgebucht war! Das Frühstück war auch gut und ausreichend und es gab auch einen Wasserspender über welchen man kaltes und warmes Wasser beziehen konnte. Haben von ursprünglich 2 Nächten auf 3 Nächte erhöht mussten dann zwar Zimmer wechseln aber dafür hatten wir im 2ten Zimmer (welches im hinteren Bereich des Gebäudes war) kein Problem mit nächtlichen Katzenkämpfen.

In unserem ersten Zimmer eines der ersten im vorderen Bereich gab es eine dünne Zwischendecke in welcher sich unzählige Katzen in der Nacht bekriegt haben. Das waren so schreckliche Geräusche (und wir sind wirklich nicht empfindlich!) aber an Schlaf war dann einige Stunden nicht zu denken!

Staff was absolutely lovely but the accommodation not a great place to stay

Staff were friendly

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but only doing this as there are cheaper and nicer accommodation available when staying in the area. There were ants and bugs all over the walls constantly. There’s no window in the bathroom and the smell coming out of the trap in the shower was disgusting.

Bien pour le prix

Bon rapport qualité/prix (avec déjeuner inclus), personnel souriant et pret à aider, bien situé et plutôt tranquille. Belle terrasse à l'étage pour déjeuner et relaxer.

La fenêtre de ma chambre donnait directement sur un mur à moins d'un mètre donc aucune lumière naturelle. Par contre, je crois que c'est la seule comme ça. Le lit et la literie etaitent moyen. État général de la chambre pourrait être amélioré (peinture, trous, la pharmacie dans la salle de bain etait sale)

Lovely staff, handy location

Property is a 5min walk from the van drop off, 10 mins into El Nido proper and 8min walk to Corong Corong beach. We were in room 5 which previous reviewers have noted is in need of an update. It was fine for our stay but is rough around the edges. Aircon was effective but noisy. Breakfast was tasty, good portions and the staff there were lovely. They can get busy around 7:30/8am for people taking day trips so just make sure you get your order in early if you have limited time. Handy washing line outside each room for swimwear. El Nido in general is expensive for rooms and food so in relation to those prices this was okay value.

Good location, friendly staff

good location close to shops, food market, bus stop and restaurants, the shared kitchen is decently equipped and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Free coffee available 24/7, breakfast was good.

Water pressure for hot shower is poor, quite a few insects around but that is quite common in this area. Wi-Fi was pretty slow. Cleaning of bathrooms and rooms could be improved.

De locatie

Het is een zeer verouderde, smoezelige plek. Het voelt niet erg schoon en netjes aan. Je krijgt een fleece delen dat veel te klein is voor twee personen. Personeel is wel heel lief en vriendelijk. De westerse eigenaar woont ook in een van de kamers en die kaffert de hele tijd het personeel af waar je bij staat. Niet prettig.

Fijn verblijf voor een klein prijsje.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Wilden maar al te graag helpen met tours etc boeken. Kwamen begin van de middag aan, en konden toen nog ontbijten! Misschien wat ver van de winkeltjes, maar kwartiertje wandelen was prima!

De tour die we gedaan hadden was niet super top, maar denk dat de accomodatie hier weinig aan kan doen.

Superb

Very nice staff. Nothing was a problem. They lent us a motorbike for a food price and let us keep our backpacks there until we returned from our trip. The rooms were nice, big and clean. Decent breakfast in price.

Sometimes a bit loud. Breakfast sometimes took a long time. Be sure to order early if you need to go for a island hopping in the morning. The location is a bit far from center.

Short walk from main town. Aircon did leak. They had a solar fan for power outages which was good- as there were many power outages. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but okay.

There is an area to cook and has free coffee/tea but it was covered in bugs.

Our room was covered in bugs, the toilet wasn't working properly, wifi didn't work.

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay. Big and clean room, great staff, and delicious big breakfast. We could use a kitchen for cooking what was great. The location was good as well.

A bit smelly - bed sheets and the whole room. A lot of ants.

Breakfast was great! Fresh and home made. We could choose what we want and they prepared us in few minutes. I give better rating for this place just because of delicious breakfast :) There are many ants in the room. Only one socket and it was behind cupboard. So it is not convenient

Water dissappeared for few times. Internet is very poor. I didn't connect.

renting a trashcan in El Nido

the only thing you could like was the english speaking friendly staff but thats it

the whole property is complete trashcan and they rent it out for normal hotels price, they have not improved anything, its dirty garbage everywhere, breakfast was just as simple as ever not one fruit no tea. I think any prison in europe is better than this hotel with fake ratings.

Disappointing

The room was clean and the breakfast was really tasty. The location is good, near the bus terminal.

Very poor lightening in the room and in the bathroom was no light. There were another door right next to the bed. No hot watter in the shower. Bad wifi.

Very good

We arrived very late and there was still someone waiting for us. The room was small but comfortable enough, the breakfast is nice, It is a good value for the money in this area.

They offered us a transfer from the airport to the hotel that I would not recommend because we travelled in a crowded van and we were stopping all along the way collecting people and supplies so we arrived 3 hours later than normal transfers. The bathroom has leaks and any use of the sink or the WC resulted in a flooded floor.

You don't want to stay here

If I have to say something, I would mention the location. But not because it's that good! It's within walking distance to the bus terminal (young people with backpacks). To El Nido town you need to walk about 15 mins. In the other direction, same walk, restaurants are available. So you have some options.

Don't make the same mistake as us! Yes, it's cheap, but man, you want to have some comfort. I had the feeling the other reviews are not about this place. The room had an awful smell, like "rotten pipes" and no ventilation, coming from the bathroom. Even cockroaches left that bathroom, very poor hygiene! We told the management, they came to clean the room, but it didn't help, we had another "cockroach visitor" from the bathroom. We wanted to leave, but my boyfriend got sick, so we got stuck, terrible experience 😭 The breakfast is way below average, the provided sugar has bugs in it, the bed bounces, the room is very loud (traffic, karaoke) and basically falling apart. You can try turning on the AC, but you won't hear your own thoughts... We asked the staff to book us a van IN ADVANCE (bad past experience of having to travel later as our request was forgotten). They didn't, despite explaining them that we need to secure the transit to make it to our flight. We had to check back on them 3 times, till it was booked. Both online and offline communication with staff is very unreliable

No wifi, no balcony, very old rooms

Location and the breakfast

They are providing wrong information, my room they mentioned was queen room with balcony but their is no balcony in room their is only a pathway in front of room and the room is very old which contains only one light bulb which makes it hard to see things inside the room. The wifi was of no use.It doesn't connects and if it connects, then the Internet goes off. I complained the manager but he only laughed and said sorry was inconvenient. During my whole stay at the Philippines, this was the booking i regretted.

Power

Rooms in El Nido are expensive compared to elsewhere in the Philippines and tend to be of lesser quality. This was an air con room but the power was not on long enough to enjoy the aircon. In fact the power was hardly on at all. For this reason our room was not perfect and way too expensive for what we got. They have a very noisy generator that is used a lot and will keep you awake without ear plugs. The generator is also not connected to the Aircon. My advice is do not book an aircon room as you won't get what you have paid for. The room was clean and tidy plus the breakfast provided was good.

No power for Aircon. The power cuts also blew up the WiFi router whilst we were there.
