Very peaceful, very nice people.

Nice and helpful stuff.
The location stunning in the middle of the jungle.
Very nice food.
Interesting pool (not for everyone).
Terrible issues with the restrooms. Had to call multiple times the staff for fixing.
There kind of thing should just not happen.
The dirt road to the location should be better kept.
4.7
Pool was very nice, nice open restaurant, room very comfortable with terrace, very quiet place, people very friendly and very well speaking English !
portions in restaurant were a bit small, a bit dirt road to reach the place but acceptable and only 500m.
4.7
Very atmospheric and relaxed environment. Small resort run by a friendly family. Natural swimming pool is great for swimming and relaxing. The restaurant has a nice terrace overlooking the jungle and they make tasty fruit drinks. Evening meal was nice too. During our tour we enjoyed relaxing here for a few days.

The place is really great! The cottages are spacious and have a cozy veranda overlooking the wonderful garden. Swimming pool is lovely and the restaurant offers a nice variety of food. Staff is great and very welcoming. We warmly recommend Winika for visits to Palenque!

First of all: Palenque did not turn out to be the Pueblo Magico imagined, so we were very glad not to stay in the city. Easy to get to the archeological site without getting into the city.
Super friendly reception. The cabin had the AC on, so it was nice and cool inside. Everything was super clean, even the shower head looked like new. The bed was firm and super nice for sleeping. Great attention to detail.
The pool was amazing and it was cleaned every day. Having a restaurant on site was also a big plus. While expensive for Mexican prices, the food was good but the servings are small.
Breakfast was also good but the servings are small. We like a big breakfast so that we can have a late lunch.
Parking on the property, absolutely secure.
Overall a great experience and we would come back in a heartbeat.
Wi-Fi is not stable or fast enough. They should look into getting a Starlink.
The road is a bit of a challenge but doable. Just take it easy ;) I would recommend cleaning some of the trash on the road.
I would have loved to have a small desk in the room.

The hotel is a family-run place with a beautiful setting in the countryside outside town. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We visited the Mayan ruins, Aluxes park (which has many types of local animals) and the forest. When we let them know we are vegetarian, they went to the market and bought different vegetables we had never tried before to cook something special for dinner. Gabriel, who works in the restaurant, is also very kind. The breakfast was very good. In general, it is great to see a small family-run place that focuses on sustainability and local culture.

Everything was absolutely perfect. From the owners, to the staff, the pool, the food...we had the best three nights here and we wish we stayed longer. We spent most of our time at the hotel because it was just so relaxing and beautiful. Can't wait to visit again.

loved the way the cabins were situated. the pool was wonderful
thought a bit pricey

What a beautiful place! Food is amazing although a little expensive. Chilaquiles Verde was the best we had the whole of Mexico and make sure you get a tascalatte! Staff did everything they could to help us and made us feel really welcome. Bed was super comfy and room really clean. Highly recommended!!! We were so sad to leave.
Also, the bird life here was incredible- we saw trogons, a squirrel cuckoo, aracari, hummingbirds and toucans to name a few while sitting in the restaurant. Twitchers this is the place for you!

We liked the beds and blankets.
we missed a fridge and glasses

Had a wonderful stay for 2 nights while visiting Palenque and surrounding areas. Cute, clean family owned/run boutique hotel in nature. Elena was super nice and accommodating.
The breakfast in the morning was so wonderful. They have a great community dinning area and bar down by the pool. We had drinks by the pool one afternoon and ate dinner as well. Most of the food is from their on-site farm.
The rooms were nice sized and EXTREMELY clean. Was very impressed how spotless they were everyday considering we were in the jungle.
This hotel would be a bit challenge IF you didn't have your own vehicle but I'm sure they would be able to work something out. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back!
The only challenge was the access road from the main highway. If you have your own car, not an issue but could be tough when raining.

Wonderful place, cabins nestled in the forest, with howler monkeys sometimes in the trees. Extremely well run, good food, and ecologically conscious. Highly recommend
4.7
spacious, private rooms in a stunning location
really nothing. our favorite hotel for the entire trip.
4.7
Clean, comfortable and lots of wildlife. We saw howler monkeys in the morning.
I wish a strong cappuccino was included in the breakfast
4.7
The location was unique - you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, which was a nice experience. Facilities were nice, but we felt not as superb as advertised in previous reviews.
BED BUGS. After a few nights, we were suddenly covered in bites, which to us were unmistakably by bed bugs. You saw the traces in the mattress. When we kindly alerted the staff about this issue, someone quite brusquely visited our room, saying that they had special mattress covers that would make bed bugs impossible. After some discussion, they offered to wash our clothes and we changed rooms, which was really nice, but that night, other people checked into our first room and slept there.
Also, the food in the restaurant was fine to us, but price-value is not great. By far the most expensive dining experience in Mexico, with small portions.
4.7
The accomodation is located a bit outside of palenque but the huts are beautifully build into the hillside jungle.
It is a great place to relax and regain some energy besides visiting the palenque maya ruins.
The restaurant serves great food and staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home.
4.7
Quiet, confortable, very good bed and very Helpfull and friendly people working there. You are very close to the center with à car and you are also near thé nature
Somme trouble with the hot water in the shower but may be I did not understand how it works.

Winika is located outside Palenque. The location is on the top of a hill and in the middle of the jungle. Waking up in the morning with the sound of Howler monkeys is amazing. The best thing about Winika is not the amazing location, not the great food served, not the spotless cabins but the people that work there.
Helene (Manager) and here team make it happen. We thank her and team for making this trip a very special one
Actually nothing all was perfectly organized. This also applies for the 5 trips organized by Winika during our stay.

wauw 🤩! beautiful location, really nice clean and comfy cabins. The place is gem for nature lovers. they have a natural pool which also invites birds to take a dip! The little critters/ frogs will keep the kids entertained for hours. We watched a beautiful big heron spending hours around the natural pool and the vegetation looking for a snack. while the howler monkeys give the finishing toch with there presence in the distance! we even saw a few Alting around the premises.
it’s family run, really friendly and helpfull people.
everything was perfect!

what a mignificent place! a true gem just outside Palenque. you can tell that the owners really care about their guests and everything they do, they do according to their own style and way of life. it’s all about ecology, nature and farming life.
We had a large wooden cabin, really neat and clean. with a porch for when it rains (and it can really pour sometimes) or just to enjoy the sun.
the pool looks greenish at first but that’s cause it’s a natural pool without chemicals.
a great place when you love ecolodging and if you don’t mind waking up with the sound of howler monkeys, hummingbirds or stumble on some iguanas on your way to breakfast (which is great by the way)
A fridge in the cabin would be a great idea because it gets really hot inside when the AC is not turned on
Coffee is included in the breakfast, cappuccino not. That’s a bit odd, but just a minor detail

We had a very nice stay! The owner was really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows(!) where very comfortable! Nice shower, good working airco and very clean. If you want to stay in a less crowded, quiet hotel with a lot of nature around, this is the place you should choose!
Absolutely nothing.
4.7
very cozy
need a bit of refreshment, pillows are very uncomfortable, but were changed. it was over 100F when we arrived, a conditioner was off.
4.7
Everything.
The location is just outside the town but you feel completely immersed in nature.
Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, bright and had excellent air conditioning.
The bed was huge and so comfortable.
The staff were so accommodating, warm and efficient.
They answered all our questions every day.
We loved everything.
It is incredibly beautiful, safe and the only feedback we have is that it is so much better in real life than it looks here on booking.com. The food was great and we saw so much wild life, including howler monkeys, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, iguanas… it was so special!
4.7
A really lovely spot away from the busy parts of Palenque. The rooms and beds are comfortable and it was nice to have a small patio. The staff were welcoming and nice to us!
The pool area needs some more TLC.
4.7
beautiful, calm, in nature, super comfortable and eco conscious
a bit of a way out of town so hard to get to but that makes it super quiet and calm
4.7
Very nice naturally filtered pool, very good restaurant and breakfast.
Located a bit far from town and Mayan ruins, requiring taxi rides.
4.7
Individual bungalows in the nature. Many grashoppers, frogs singing the night. Leguans among the bungalows at day. Who like stay close to nature it is a must visit accomodation
Very bad road leads to the resort. Weak wifi for distanced bungalows

Best regards
