Great location. Loved the jazz theme. Had a great room opposite Flagstaff Gardens which from our balcony was a superb view.
The lift aspect was a little confusing to begin with but not really a problem.

Location
I had to pay extra money instead of early check in permission.

Ben arredato, moderno, pulito, spazioso.
Ci vorrebbe un tavolo più adatto a lavorare con un computer. Poche prese elettriche per collegare PC, telefoni,...

Excellent location very close to QV Markets. Easy walking distance to eateries and shops. Central Melbourne.
Housekeeping could be better.

(Free Zone)
2️⃣房间整体舒适度还不错。

Spacious suites with great themed decor. For its city location, was exceptionally quiet. Really comfortable bed. Fast room service. Great location for accessing public transport, close to Southern Cross and Marvel stadium.

Great location and room was clean and a great size
Reception is a little tricky to find as it’s tucked away in a corner and entrance is a little confusing to find d

Location was good for what we needed.
The room smelt musty and unclean. The blanket on the bed was dirty with black balls on it. There was no body wash left in the dispenser, the robes were that stiff they were itchy and unwearable and because we were 15 minutes early the staff were rude and wouldn’t check us in even when check in took longer that 15 minutes which made us late for our concert.

Probably one of the nicest places I’ve stayed at in Melbourne.

The room was comfortable, clean and modern.
No seating on the balcony, its not very relaxing sitting on the ground.

air con not powerful enough

Loved the view, the room was a good size, bed was comfortable and location was close to places we explored in the cbd. Frontdesk was very friendly and warm. We were taken in earlier than the usual check-in time, we appreciate that a lot!
Some parts of the room weren't fully cleaned - e.g. the bin in the bathroom was not emptied with a small amount of rubbish. The carpet along the hallways, I presume, was new. However, it wasn't neatly done and there was a lot of excess carpet curling up going into the rooms, sometimes blocking the door from completely closing. Otherwise, everything else was great!

The city view was cool, and the bed comfy and shower had good pressure.👍🏽
Disappointed, there was no mini bar as indicated in the room description & no corkscrew to open my bottle of wine?
I expected a little more for the price I paid for an overnight stay?

Well appointed room and good facilities. Comfortable bed. Location is good - a bit distant from the city centre
No restaurant and limited breakfast options - toasties and smoothies, but coffee shope nearby.

Excellent location close to the city.
Especially for NYE celebrations :)
Breakfast was very limited for choices.

We booked the Ella Fitzgerald room but were upgraded to the Charlie Parker room. The bed is so comfortable! The staff were very friendly. Location was excellent with tram no. 58 pretty much at the door step. Queen Victoria Market is one tram stop or 5 minutes walk away. 24hr minimart just downstairs with the friendliest proprietor. Really appreciated the balcony, kitchenette and washer/dryer facilities. Would definitely stay here again, we loved it.
Did not like checking out at 10am

Best time ever spent
Simply nothing

Comfy bed and good sized living/bedroom/ensuite
We left very early in the morning and returning the keys for carpark and room were an issue - difficult to get back into the building and security guard didn't seem interested in taking the keys for us

Was an excellent property, probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on ! The room was excellent value. I highly recommend.

Very friendly staff at the front office, always smiling and helping out. 10/10. The rooms were large and all amenities were there.
We booked the Ella Fitzgerald room - there was nothing Ellaish about it - no character. Only the wall paper opposite the lift and the throw on the bed had a collage of vintage jazz albums. We had expected each room done as an ode to a particular legend. So it was like any other property.
The elevators are common for the hotel guests and for the residential guests in the same building.
The house keeping was a little wanting.
9.0
The balcony and views, location, the room was groovy
The room was like an apartment with full cooking facilities including full stove and microwave, sadly the size of the extreamly small fridge with NO freezer compartment was totally inadequate to store food or frozen foodstuff.

As a jazz fan I loved the decor! the convenience of a kitchenette was an added bonus we were not expecting. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay.
It seemed the front desk staff was hurried at times, a little too busy to help. Not bad but could be improved a little.

I got locked out of my room and couldn’t access it for a long time.
My deposit was not returned

The rooms are nice and it’s close to Queen Elizabeth markets.

friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room within good proximity to city highlights
could have had more cooking utensils however, when requested, the reception had the house person bring more up to the room

First of all when we arrived we were greeted at the front desk very warmly. We ended up going to our room and found it had a spectacular view overlooking the city. The view changed as the daytime changed to night and I found it hard to say which I loved the most. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was it's location, near restaurants, a park, the Museum, and Queen Victoria Market, above all, right above the Birds Basement. We had fantastic seats to two shows on two consecutive nights. We loved dinner there and both shows were fantastic. We loved everything about these two evenings. When the show was over, take the elevator back to your room.
Nothing I can think of.

The mattress and pillows were super comfy. Room was very quiet. Kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. Shower water had great water pressure and heats up quickly. Loved the sweet treats in the room upon checking in. The chocolate cube was delicious.
Non-park-facing rooms have a window-balcony that directly faces office desks in the building next door- we kept the curtains closed all the time so office workers 2m away weren't looking into our room and couldn't use the token balcony. Kettle had dead ant inside (was quite random??). Lid didn't close- manually hold it down to boil water. Were animals allowed in the hotel or other rooms? Because we woke up to dog barking on Saturday morning.
