Our lake house is located in incomparable Sandpoint, Idaho. Sandpoint was voted the 'Most beautiful small town in America' in 2011 by USA Today and will blow you away with natural beauty, friendly people, abundant activities and a great food scene! Our lake house is an easy stroll from all the amenities of downtown Sandpoint but still has a private location right on your own sandy beach beside the beautiful waters of Lake Pend Oreille. Does your perfect vacation fantasy sound anything like one of these:

Property description 100% accurate. From the photos, we wondered if they were using real-estate fisheye, but it is expansive in actuality. The space is super comfortable for 10 or so people, inside and out. For a small footprint, this home is designed to maximize comfort for a group, clean and well maintained, this place provides a perfect home base for a summer lake vacation. My family and I stayed here mid-July. Overall Fraser was good to deal with and responded, the location is very nice and the facilities/house are undoubtedly cool. All wasn’t perfect in paradise. We showed up and the beach was totally covered in weeds/milfoil, with dead fish matted in it (the smell was horrible). We waited 5 days before the beach was cleaned (sounded like it was extenuating circumstances and somewhat out of owners control, but regardless paying a premium for a sandy beach and lakeside experience and we were driving to the main beach every time we wanted to swim, definitely sucked). The hot tub water had seen much better days as well and was quite yellow with a big white foam coming up (which usually indicates uncleanliness and lots of product in the water) and so we didn’t use that after we saw). The kitchen and closets weren’t super clean and there was some dirt and spills, but otherwise the house is beautiful and the beds very comfortable. It’s a lovely location for sure.

We had a 3 night family stay, the accommodations were very comfortable with a great layout and fantastic views. The location is ideal for access to amenities in Sandpoint. We would recommend this property to anyone and will be renting this home next time we are in the area. Thanks so much Brent

Since my husband’s passing, one of my goals has been to build memories with my children and granddaughter. We’ve had many getaways. This property met every expectation, then some. We will definitely make this a yearly getaway location!

We had a great weekend skiing at Schweitzer, the property was in a great location convenient to skiing and also restaurants and shopping. I was disappointed that the highly advertised new hot tub was an inflatable hot tub and was not heated enough for use on our first night, but we made due. The kids loved the bunk room and I appreciated the fully stocked kitchen.

Property is located in a great neighborhood right on the lake! Ample space for a group of 8. Not super toddler friendly so bring a couple baby gates if that’s a concern. Place was pretty dirty was the only downside, not sure if it just hadn’t been used in awhile, but it definitely wasn’t clean.

This waterfront property is in a wonderful location to the downtown area for Restuarant's and shopping. The home has an artistic vibe inside, which adds to the fun! It has plenty of space for guests to be comfortable, yet room for privacy. We were there in the Fall season to enjoy the changing colors and relax, which is what we were able to do!

Beautiful townhouse right on the lake. We stayed with my husband and one year old and my in laws and it was great for us. We walked to town a lot, rented a boat for a couple days and used the dock, hung out on the beach and BBQ’d at night. It was a perfect spot. Plenty of space inside too for all of us. The only odd parts were the half bath downstairs door wouldn’t close all the way, but we let the property owner know so I’m assuming it will be fixed for the next renters. And the kitchen sink stopped working every day and my husband had to reset it regularly (it’s a no touch one and was very finicky). We let the owner know about that too tho so hoping it gets fixed. We’d definitely stay again!

We had an amazing week this is 5 blocks from heart of downtown Sandpoint There were alot of beds and the art and design was very nice and every piece of art was selected for that location. The dock and boat lift was a dream. The only downfall which is not fault of property or owner was a peir that was open to public that swam in front place. Overall not a big deal. We will definitely stay here again! Host was amazing super easy to work/communicate with throughout entire process. Thank you!!

The property and lake/mountain views were excellent. Location is perfect with a short walk to town for shopping, dining and drinks. The house was so well appointed we didn't need a thing other than groceries. Swimming off the dock all week was perfect. The lake water is so clear. We would recommend to anyone they stay here.

Very nice area in the heart of downtown Sandpoint. Beautiful house, indescribable beauty of nature. If you don't like dogs, this house is not for you. Since you can find hair from a dog. The beds were clean, which is very nice, the beds are comfortable - this is no small matter when you are away from home for about a week. If you have a large boat, try to arrive before dark to park the boat at the pier so that it does not cause inconvenience to the neighbors. The owner of the house is always in touch and it is very nice. He was always polite and very pleasant. Thank you for this wonderful place for vacation.

We absolutely LOVED this property. Its location was perfect and this was our first time to Sandpoint so we were unsure of what the town was like. Super close to everything you will do when visiting Sandpoint. The home was very clean and all of the amenities exceeded our expectations. This home is a must when traveling to Sandpoint.

Fabulously remodeled townhome located right on the lake with beautiful views. We enjoyed staying here for our family ski weekend! The location is so close to great restaurants in Sandpoint and was a lovely place to getaway.

We were two families of 4 each who spent a long week end in Sandpoint skiing in Schweitzer. The house is beautiful. The living room/kitchen area is awesome for dinners or just to enjoy the lake view - must be great in the summer too. Easy check in/out. The house had everything we needed.

We spent Christmas weekend at this house with family and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The house is perfect for families. One of the rooms has the neatest bunk bed setup I’ve ever seen. The kitchen has a great range and all the kitchen items we needed. The view of the frozen lake was incredible. The master bedroom had all sorts of cool extras, such as a desk nook overlooking the lake. Can’t say enough. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Very nice, modern and well-maintained property. Private Beach with Dock and Boatlift. Just a few blocks away from downtown Sandpoint so very easy to walk to town. Located in nice neighborhood with a small neighborhood public pier next to property. We would definitely stay again. We really enjoyed our time and all the great amenities in this 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath vacation rental. Best place we've stayed at in the Sandpoint / Pend Oriele area. Would highly reccoment. Our family had a great time.

We loved this beautiful home! Right on the water, with your own personal dock and beach area. It rained a bit while we were there - but we still enjoyed our stay. The glass “walls” bring the gorgeous scenery inside. Really quite lovey. Standpoint is truly a walkable town. We walked into town for several meals & coffee one morning when the power went out (power outage in part of town). Lots of activities close by to enjoy as well. Host was very easy & pleasant to deal with.

The view from this home of the lake is gorgeous. Our son was proposing to his girlfriend in this trip and when we saw the view from the house he decided to do it on the patio rather than find a place on the lake because it was so gorgeous. The home has everything you need for the perfect vacation. We even fished right off the dock and caught some bass and large pike! Perfect.
