A lovely home, with beautiful view over the river, just opposite a very active Rowing Club.
Indeed, a welcome from home extended to us. A big thank you.

Just a short walk from Chiswick train station in a quiet area, our hosts were accommodating and helpful that our stay fitted in with our plans and they were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Staying in the family home, our room and bathroom provided everything we needed, was clean with a lovely view of the River Thames. A continental breakfast was provided, which included a beautiful home made fruit salad. The room was good value for money and we would definitely return if we were staying in the area in future

Hosts were very friendly
The bedroom and house were cluttered. The bedroom was only lockable by a small bolt. Bed had bedspread, which was being reused without washing between guests, and the base sheet was rough. The shower needs lots of attention with loose tape around the shower tray and random products like washing up liquid in the holders provided for shower gel. The sink was tiny and had a rubber extension to the tap, I am nor therefore convinced of the quality of water coming through for teeth cleaning.

We loved our hosts Vicki and Chris, this is a lovely home that you are Welcome to share.
Fruit salad and the bread and the Coffee was great also with a wonderful chat at the breakfast table. Tosca the Siamese cat and Helen their helper all are to make you feel at home next to the river Thames. Lovely view 😺
This is a place to enjoy a family house, you should be open for the warm, colorful, friendly atmosphere. It is not suitable for anyone looking for standart hotel experience.

Very friendly and helpful. Plus a very cute furry helper called Tosca (kitten) was making sure we had everything we needed for our stay! :-D Breakfast was lovely, with fresh homemade bread and fruit. Free parking was very handy. About a 10 minute walk to Chiswick train station, and trains straight into London Waterloo. Chiswick tube station is about a 20 to 30 minute walk.
Not too much of problem, but there are a lot of stairs in the property, and I don't pack light.
Didn't realise until I got back home and got the ticket.......There are roadworks on the main road close-by, and due to these the council are trying to stop people taking shortcuts, so have cameras around. I got a penalty notice ticket for turning off the main road to get to the accommodation. You'll need to find a different route if the works are still going on.

Location was great, free off road parking.
Nothing really we were only there for a few minutes then out to see our Daughter in Hammersmith. Then returned to sleep and up and away early.

Just so comfortable and feels like home rather than a soulesss hotel..
Nothing, all good

The whole atmosphere of the stay is being welcomed into a family home rather than a soulless hotel, and everything you could possibly need for a 'home from home' is present. Vicki and Chris are fantastic hosts, who were welcoming, enthusiastic to meet guests, and gave the impression that nothing would be too much trouble (also Figgy the cat is absolutely gorgeous!).
The location is fantastic, I've never stayed in this part of London before, but I would definitely stay here again - if you want to visit the city, but don't like the rat race of central London, I couldn't recommend this venue strongly enough. Our room had a private outdoor area, private bathroom, and also private access to the garage with a fridge (we didn't need this, but if you're staying for a few days it's a good way to save money in an expensive city!). We were in the library room, and it's fair to say you'd have enough books to keep you entertained for the next 5 years, but there was also a TV if reading isn't your thing. The whole place was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of sanitiser bottles if that's still your thing. We learned that it's been a family home for 46 years, and it very much feels like a well-lived and well-loved home, which suited us perfectly.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with homemade bread on offer, and Vicki and Chris made the point of chatting with us and finding out a little bit about their guests, and we discovered Chris was born in my home city, over 200 miles away!
We stayed for an event at Kew Gardens, and the property is only a 40 minute walk on a beautiful bath along the Thames, but the night before we reached Leicester Square from Chiswick station in under an hour (via a train to Waterloo, then switching to the tube!), so it is conveniently located for a number of different venues around the city, and is only a 4 minute drive from the station.

A beautiful riverside home.

Wonderful hosts, couldn’t do more for you. Lovely homemade bread and fruit cocktail for breakfast. Loved your beautiful cat. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome.

You'll stay im Vickys and Chris House. Every morning we had wonderful breakfast and lovely conversation with them. The River Room has a beautiful view (River Thames) and you'll get everything you need in there. We also had our own bathroom. We'd love to come back and see them again! They are wonderful people!
It's easy to go to London (bus and/or underground). Safe area. Kew Gardens is a 30minutes walk along the Thames. Next time we'd love to see Richmond. Chiswick is also quiet nice to spent some time over there.
All in all highly recommended!

The welcome was lovely. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. The homemade bread was delicious. We could have brought the car which was a positive, but came by train and loved the easiness of accessing the public transport. The bus stop was 5 mins. We want to return!
