Hosts Rob and Mandi provided excellent service with a smile dealt with any issue we had and provided great advice on things to do in and around Yungaburra
absolutely nothing

There was a packet of bacon and 4 eggs in the fridge for your breakfast.
The fact that the shower dripped through the night. That there was some sort of water pump that made loud noises.

I loved absolutely everything about The Church, such a beautiful building and the decor and facilities were great. Really loved the fire place, as well as the fruit trees, we ended up with several great mandarins for snacks during the day.
I honestly cannot think of anything to say here.

A generous amount of breakfast food was left for us plus a bottle of wine.
We woke early as there was a lot of road noise.

Cereal satchel would be good
Getting into large bath for a shower.

Good location to town.
Netflix! ( It rained while we were there!!!)
Had a problem making initial contact with owner re check in details. Never a good start...
And.....Very noisy! Believe that to be understated by owner. Early peak hour traffic on the gillies meant no sleeping in!

Everything
I'm really thinking hard here and it's quite petty but maybe a toilet roll holder! 🤣

We loved the decor and style of the church as well as the location.
The kitchen could use a bit of an upgrade foe cooking if you wish to eat in.

Loved our relaxing stay here. Had everything we needed and more. Very convenient location in the cutest town on the tablelands. Thank you!
There is no A/C but the many windows capture the breeze and it wasn't a problem for us.

Central location with a short stroll to the village
Spacious and very clean with all the facilities you need.

Super comfy king size bed bed, spa bath and lovely gardens made it a very pleasant and aesthetic stay. Very kind inclusion of wine & breakfast. Great location, secure parking and a short walk to the centre of town 🌻
Lots of overdue maintenance that older properties need, IE windows and doors being damaged and/or dirty. TV was broken, the “kitchen” under stocked.

The location and look of the resident was beautiful gardens well kept with plenty of space to park and to have a stroll around. The breakfast was great can you advise if the food was sourced from local providers as this sort of collaboration works really well.
There was no gas in the bottle for the bbq, we sent a message however it was not responded to until after we had left and there is nothing written anywhere advising there was a spare one. Should have been checked prior to new guests.
The bathroom was lovely however my husband has a spinal issue so getting in and out of the bath for showering was a chore.

Lovely atmosphere and decor in this converted old church. Very unique place to stay. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with spa bath. Breakfast items, bacon and eggs and bread and milk left in fridge were much appreciated. Also a bottle of wine. Loved the fire which we lit in the evenings. Ticked all the boxes for me. Walking distance to centre of beautiful Yungaburra village. We were lucky enough to see platypus and a tree kangaroo on our walks near the village.

Very spacious. Quality furnishings and linens. Very comfortable bed.
Lovely touches throughout the property.
Great breakfast provisions, and complimentary bottle of wine.
Good private outside area with bbq and tables and chairs. Garden was lovely and well tended.
Our messages and questions were answered promptly prior to arrival.
If we had to be picky.....no shampoo, that was advertised.
No WiFi, but we were informed that a power surge had blown the modem. No problem.
We had plenty of reading material, but poor lighting for reading. Asked for a couple more lightbulbs in the overhead light, but we didn’t get them.

Everything about the Church is amazing!!!
Nothing at all!

The bacon, eggs, bread & milk left in the fridge was delicious. The spa bath was relaxing. We were able to watch a movie on netflix. Lake Eacham was a short drive from the property. There were interesting books to read and puzzles. Lovely gardens.
It would have been good to have plug- in hotplates to cook on.
but there are nice restaurants and takeaways close by if you prefer not to cook.

The church was really cute
The bed was a bit uncomfortable

The Church was very quaint and appropriately styled in this gorgeous historial town. It really suited the ambience of Yungaburra. Breakfast supplies and bottle of wine were appreciated. It was very neat and tidy and in a great location to walk to shops. Check in was very easy. Highly recommend for a base to explore all the Atherton Tablelands has to offer.
Maybe the kitchen could do with a little update. Numbers of glasses, cups etc could be increased, but what was supplied worked sufficiently.

From the moment we opened the door everything was perfect. The decor the finest touches fresh flowers, breakfast everything was so beautiful and welcoming
The Church is a true asset to the beautiful township of Yungaburra.
I did not want to leave.

It was so beautifully appointed. And the attention to detail and maintance was great. Lovely strong hot shower! And it was a nice touch to have some breakfast ready to make in the fridge and a bottle of wine for dinner.
There's not much to dislike. The Church was a beautiful place to stay. A little road noise, but nothing much to bother( I'm a light sleeper)

A little noisy from passing traffic

The Church was such an interesting and quirky place to stay and a great base to explore Yungaburra and the surrounding Tablelands. We had a really comfortable stay and loved the delicious jam and fresh sunflowers!

Many thoughtful inclusions like coffee, tea and wine, and eggs and bacon for breakfast.. The open fire place would be lovely if the temperature was really cold. The mandarin and ruby grapefruit trees were laden with juicy fruit to which guests can help themselves.
The fan above the bed didn’t work. Globe in the main lamp didn’t work and many globes in the main chandelier light didn’t work which meant it was quite dark inside. No blind in the bathroom; if the road can be seen from the shower then people driving by can see people in the shower!

Very open and spacious. Would stay again.

Good location walking distance to town and the platypus viewing area.
The provision of a 'smart TV' with Netflix was a nice inclusion.
The breakfast provisions were a nice touch also.
One of the most comfortable beds I have slept on!
We were aware that there was limited cooking options before booking but were not aware of how limited and poor quality the food options were in the town and nearby Atherton - would be obviously a major undertaking but having a usable kitchen would be great. Not a criticism of the place as we knew about the limited kitchen prior to booking, but something for guests to consider.
