Very comfortable

This property has been well renovated and is very comfortable. My room was spacious.

There was dirt and dust around the edges of the room and on top of the light fittings when I arrived. But otherwise the room was spotless.

Overnight or longer in Ipoh

Very cool designed hotel. Super clean. Good location in Ipoh old town with some cafes nearby. Easy walk down from train station.

No fridge available in room.

Idéal pour un séjour au calme à Ipoh !

L'hôtel est très bien situé. La chambre (avec fenêtre sans vue mais au calme), tout comme la salle de bain (commune ) étaient jolies et propres. La dame à l'accueil est très gentille.

Rien, je reviendrais avec grand plaisir dans cet hôtel !

Location was good

The sink was broken. When we turn op the tap, the water sinks on the floor and there was a problem with water heater. The water was coming from heater. Also it was rainy when we were there and it was so noisy which blocks to sleep

Lovely, comfy, clean, great location, nice host!

Great location, beautiful building, clean comfortable beds, shared bathroom is very nice and clean, nice lounge, very nice host!

Some coffee and two cups in the room would be very nice to have as the coffee shops in Ipoh open late.. (10am).

Great location, beautiful accommodation

Great location - it's close to the train station and also walking distance to Concubine Lane, shops and cafés. We booked a room with a private bathroom and had everything we needed. Hairdryer is available. Loved the design of the hotel as well - it's very cosy and comfortable.

Just something to note: noises from the hallway can be heard inside room.

Very warm welcome on arrival Staff member on duty throughout my stay exceedingly helpful Value for price paid Great old worldly vibe really glad I stayed here Good A/C & Good Wi-Fi I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a safe & comfortable place to stay

Superb

Location is very good. Short walk is accessible to Old Town and Concubine trails.

No extra pillow. Unable to take card payment as the hotel has changed onwership recently.

The room is nice but the receptionist is not

The location is so strategic, near to Concubine Lane, easy to get GrabCar and GrabFood. The room and the shared bathrooms & toilets are clean and always kept dry.

The male receptionist. He's supposed to hold his conversation with whoever it is on the phone and quickly attend to my check-in process first, but he didn't! He took almost 15 mins just to complete my booking and left me standing there clueless with my baggages. Very slow process! And after I settled in, I ordered a GrabFood and went down to pick my order and guess what I found? THE VERY SAME RECEPTIONIST WIDELY OPENED THE HOTEL ENTRANCE GLASS DOOR AND HE WAS FREAKING THERE, IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE, SMOKING! SMOKING WITHOUT CLOSING THE DOOR?? My nose is really sensitive to cigarette smoke and this made my mood went worse. And not to forget, there was one morning, he was talking loudly in front of the rooms' aisle

The location quite close to the attraction & staff very friendly and helpful.

Tangga hotel agak curam & i hope got extra furniture to store the bags. Besides that, bila awal2 masuk memang ada nyamuk.

Ban Loong is a house-hold name. Should definitely try to keep it up.

we had opted to stay in Ban Loong because we have seen the rooms and cleanliness level before. the room was still comfortable

the housekeeping unfortunately was bad. the cleanliness level was low. there was hair everywhere in the room and bathroom. the common sitting area, previously had a beautiful airwell and sort of a centre-piece with beautiful plants. now its decorated with brooms, mops and cleaning detergent. definitely an eye sore.

It is not managed well. They haven’t clean even the common area. The carpet on the stairs is really dirty. The washroom is so dirty. It seems like they haven’t clean in ages. The glass is full of moss. They need to hire real cleaners or retrain the staff/the housekeeping. The housekeeping department is not doing his/her job properly. He/she needs to see an optometrist to check his eyes to see the dirt on the room and hotel. poorly managed hotel:( won’t go back again
