Great location, a few stops away from Kings Cross station. Kind and helpful staff.
The shared bathroom (even though I knew about it beforehand). Only one shower working on my floor and I went after someone who left it kind of messy (dirty). Not great.
Also the noise from outside - the windows isolation is not good.
And finally the noise from people talking and getting ready around 5am every morning…

Great hostel!
Really comfy beds and friendly staff. Within walking distance to Alexandra Palace, and the restaurant and bar downstairs was lovely!
Only downfall was the showers, which were nice and clean but unfortunately absolutely freezing.

The location is the best thing about this property. The bus stop and tube is directly outside. There are plenty of places to eat late at night. It’s a few bus stops away from Alexandra palace. The beds were comfortable.
Ants everywhere. It was a hot day though so I don’t particularly blame the staff for this.
No breakfast on offer but a perfectly decent cafe two doors away with lots of options.

Second time staying here and another great experience! All of the staff were lovely and the location is great. We stayed in a double room with the shared bathrooms and everything was always kept clean and tidy. Great value for money and will be staying again when we visit London! Thank you Green Rooms!
Everything was great, the first time we stayed we had disposable flip flops which were handy and didn't have those the second time, would have been handy to have but definitely not a necessity. Mentioned this to the staff who were receptive and said they would see what they could do about bringing this back.

No cooked breakfast on site
Room was booked for 2 people but the "double bed" was so small neither of us could move. It was also uncomfortable. There was no soundproofing whatsoever on the windows, in fact much of the single pane glass in the outer windows was broken inside the frames. This led to it being incredibly noisy overnight. I also feel as though the shared bathroom should of been made more obvious on the advert, as neither of us would of chosen shared toilets or showers had that been the case. The shared toilets/showers were not even clean.

Very easy access to tube and Alexandra Palace, restaurant and bar provided as part of property. Room we were allocated was clean and comfortable.
We were facing the road and can appreciate it’s an older property that’s probably difficult to get permissions to put new windows in / sufficient sound proofing etc. Might be worth providing guests with ear plugs to Council out the noisiness of the road?

Clean ,great location for Alexandra palace ,bus stop right outside which takes you there .staff were friendly .No parking but we did get a discounted rate on parking in the mall which was nice.
Shower drain was blocked and so water overflowed onto the floor .Walls are thin so you can hear other people moving around and some noise from the street.take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Kreuzung, an der unglaublich viele Busse stoppen und starten und auch sonst sehr viel Verkehr ist - Tag und Nacht - und ist daher sehr laut.

In the shared bathroom one of the cubicles had a nugget of faeces on the floor and the toilet roll
had faeces on, another cubicle had urine all over the seat. The faeces was still there in the morning when we went to check out at 11am, so it had clearly not been checked by anyone during our entire stay.

if booking an en-suite room for more than 2 people be aware the room given won’t have stairs to the mezzanine and instead a wooden ladder. difficult to get up and down without the fear of falling.

Twin room was a lovely size and set up nicely for friends birthday. It was conveniently situated right across from the tube station which was really handy seeing how we had traveled from scotland and on a main line which was good for getting around. Also has a lovely restaurant downstairs.
Would have been nice to have a proper door to bathrooms rather than swing doors but it isn't really a dislike and doesn't take away from the place in any way. Would still recommend.

Location was good, and the restaurant space was useful, even though I didn't eat useful to have there.
Loud, thin walls and the door was rattling as people moved around. Very uncomfortable and didn't sleep well at all. I usually do not mind noise but with the door I felt like I needed to be alert.
Didn't love the bathroom, it was shared so I guess to be expected but wish it was cleaner.
