Good breakfast selection. Two refrigerators in the kitchen for guests food. It was very important as there are not places in the town to eat so we cooked our late dinner. The store was nearby and open late.

Lovely guesthouse with spacious rooms and and a well stocked kitchen for breakfast.
Everything is great for the price you pay so have nothing negative to say.

Very helpful and accommodating hosts, location in Suomussalmi's center, and a good breakfast. There is a grocery shop and a ski rental place just 2 minutes away from the B&B. The location should also be very convenient for visiting Hossa national park.

When considering the price and the value, it was very good. Maybe additional info how to use the sauna would have been convenient, or I just did not notice myself :/
Help via phone was good, so I was able to arrive later than opening hours.
Self helped breakfast was also quite ok.
Nature around the area is also fabulous!! And from the shop you are able to buy real hand made Kuksa (Lapland drinking cup).

A nice little room with very comfortable beds and enough space for a short stay. The bathroom was spotless clean, also was the kitchen. The cosy kitchen is modern equipped and there are masses of breakfast in the fridge, so that you can help yourself to a great meal.
The communication worked well, until we arrived. You have to call by phone if you arrive later than 4 pm, and we did. Problem was, the lady on the phone did not speak a word English, so we cannot tell her, that we need the key, that we had booked a room, who we are etc.
In the end, she came personally and opens up a room for us.
It would be much easier, if you tell the keycode per SMS or per mail beforhand !

A guest house with old time charm and good facilities. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was a very good choice for our stay with our 6-year-old. The shared kitchen is very functional with several fridges and good equipment. Breakfast is self-catering style and has enough options at least for basic diets.
The shared toilet makes a big noise when flushing but luckily the guy next door didn't have to use it during the night :)

There are shared facilities but it's absolutely no problem
Breakfast from supplies on site was great
There are way too many confusing signs after first arrival. You need to call for check-in.
