Location was awesome!
The water pressure was not great. Toilets were hard to flush.

Very clean! Excellent location.
So the heating turns on for a certain duration only.... The first night we were not aware of that so we had no heat. The beds are too soft for my preference and aren't fully flat.

Perfect location, quaint cosy cottage, with everything you could need. Hosts available if required, comprehensive book with loads of information. Wine and biscuits most welcome after the journey. A little gem in the most perfect chocolate box village.

Gorgeous cottage had everything we needed.

Beautiful property with parking. It's so central, so perfect for walking about. It's a quaint cottage with all the mod cons. Very cosy.
I found the bed a bit soft. I prefer a firmer mattress. But this didn't affect my sleep.

Amazing location, great cottage with full kitchen and amazing Gaz fire place.
Bed and pillow could use a refreshment (too hard for me)

Loved the cottage and it’s location. It fulfilled our expectations and more. Everything we would want was provided and places to eat and drink were just a very short stroll away. The cottage had loads of character and a sun trap in the courtyard. Lots of lovely touches on arrival. Paul was so helpful and kind. We loved it and will definitely be back.
Low ceilings and a very soft single bed but neither were a problem

the location was perfect and the fact it had parking was worth its weight in gold
had to get hold of the owner for the keypad code once outside the cottage. would have been ideal to have the morning of arrival ready

The cottage was perfectly outfitted for a comfortable stay. Excellent location and a comprehensive guide book to the area was a nice touch. We absolutely appreciated having access to a washing machine with the backyard drying rack. The parking, the back garden chairs, the comfortable couches all made it a wonderful holiday.
The pricing was a bit high, however, it was high season and in a perfect location with parking. The space is compact and the only washroom is up a flight of stairs, but that is part of the charm. Recommended to young couples without toddlers who can easily manuver in tight spaces without a fall risk. We would have appreciated the host being a bit more proactive with sharing the door code the day before our arrival without us having to reach out to him about it.

Location was excellent with parking which was essential. Very clean and comfortable, with everything you would need for a pleasant stay. A thoughtful welcome package too. In spite of being right in the centre of the village it was lovely and quiet. I’d certainly stay there again.

Great location and the cottage was great for a small family like us.
Everything was perfect, however a small family with a young child would prefer have a washing machine with dryer but we were lucky with the sun so it was all good.

The stairs are very difficult for older people or children

Forsythia Cottage is such a little gem! It is a gorgeous little Cotswold cottage, very cosy and comfortable with mod cons. It’s location couldn’t be better, just tucked away around the back of the Main Street with its own parking on the front of the property. Really lovely.

character
it is quite small

Fantastic location and perfect for pottering around the Cotswolds. Beautifully clean and the added bonus of a well equipped kitchen.
Definitely a cosy cottage - as a tall person the head height and shower cubicle were a little challenging!! But this didn't by any means detract from a picturesque location and a fabulous weekend break.

location was central did not need to drive anywhere once settled. plenty of walking to do and sample the many restaurants and tea rooms. the cottage was perfect for a couple everything you needed like a home from home.

This beautiful, quaint cottage can't have a better location, as it is within a minutes walk from the heart of Bourton-on-the-water. The off-street parking bay is a definite bonus in a town where it is hard to find a spot to park. The shower is small, but has plenty of hot water with good pressure. The complimentary wine and shortbread was a real treat.
Both beds in the cottage are so soft, that even my daughter complained that her bed was not comfortable. The nice, but heavy winter bedding is also not suitable for summer weather. The toilet has a side flush that has to be pumped many times to achieve the desired result and my daughter could not manage it. The dining table only has 2 chairs and one would think that a third chair is essential for a cottage that sleeps 3.

Location was excellent to the area. Great places to eat and fantastic walks.
Disappointed as there was only one tea bag and no milk as it was stated it would be provided, but a nice touch with the wine and biscuits.
I would have preferred some flatter pillows, a choice of pillows would have been appreciated.
Perhaps another outside easy chair as one of us had to sit on the step in the sunshine.

The location was lovely and the cottage is ideally situated right in the centre but on a quiet street. Parking was right at the front of the property. The cottage had everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
The cushions for the outdoor seats could have been better but other than that we had no complaints.
