Location and proximity to amenities was very good.House well equipped
The heating was problematic and the cooker hob was difficult to use as we had to guess how it worked

Great location, really lovely cottage.
Because we were there for Christmas the cottage had been set up for it i.e. there was a christmas tree, crackers, candy canes, table all set up for Christmas dinner, stars etc.
It comes down to personal choice - I would prefer harder mattresses and miss having a bath but these are really minor!!! Would be great if it had a bigger freezer but again this is because we were staying for nearly a week so would have appreciated it. Other guests may not need it because of shorter durations.

Lovely cottage, ideally sited for easy walking access to Bourton-on-the-water and its attractions and restaurants, pubs, shopping etc. A great little welcome hamper plus tea, coffee, milk, etc. Easy parking out front for one car, which was all we had (a bit of a squeeze for two, perhaps?), Good sized double bedrooms with upstairs and downstairs shower & toilet rooms. Good kitchen off dining area, next to comfortable lounge. We are used to old cottages with limited headroom (all but one of us between 5'10'' and 6'5'') and Woodbine has a number of places where we soon learned when to duck! Would definitely consider visiting in the future.
A number of lights in the kitchen needed replacing and the lights on the stairs weren't working (despite a number of comments about this in the visitors' book - if you're going to have one then at least read it!). There was no handrail on the steep stairs, which could be an issue for frailer people, although not for us. But combined with no stair lights made us cautious going up and down.

I loved the fact that we had our own parking spot, and just a quick walk to the restaurants and shops.
not a thing

Modern interior, supplies included, location close to tourist attractions, local gift on arrival.

Easy booking, suitability located. Very clean and well equipped. The welcome hamper is a nice gesture and much appreciated. Highly recommend.
Bigger space for car parking.

Excellent location- close to all local attractions by short walk. Host was very friendly and available anytime. Very handy to have milk, sugar, tea, coffee etc already to start off with.
Entrance pathway garden not maintained as overgrown and difficult to walk through especially with elderly parents. Hence too many bees, flies etc. coming into the cottage when windows are open. Also might be useful to have fans in all the rooms especially in the summer with the current heatwave. It would be useful to have instructions on how to use the electric cooker to cook as not very easy to operate.

lovely location
we rented the Ivy Cottage at the same time
as a family and for value for money the Ivy is so much better, bigger and maintained. the third bedroom is very small.

it is very nice cosy cottage situated in great location. was pretty quiet even though it is right next to a tavern. well equipped cottage and electric fireplace was amazing! it is very spacious. staff is amazing and quick to respond.
the cottage needs some refurbishment. floor was creaky when we walked on second floor. it would have been fantastic if there weren’t crawling bugs (harmless but my niece was terrified).

It is ideally located in the village, was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful little touches to make you feel really welcome. I hope to stay again in the future.

Accommodation was clean and only a short walk to the main town located next to a excellent pub serving food
The only suggestion would be a handrail on the stairs to access the upstairs bedrooms

Lovely location in the village , next door to a very nice pub The Mousetrap. comfortable beds with quality bedding. Well equipped for cooking. Smart TV which connects to Netflix etc
3rd bedroom a little small and seating not comfortable for 6 people in the living area . Perfect for 2 couples or a family with kids , but we were 6 adults . Did not really spoil our enjoyment, but the couple with the small double room got the short straw !

good position in town with the all important parking. quite well equipped and very clean.
my husband was recovering from a broken leg, so we used the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. There are 3 shallow steps along the corridor which might catch someone out, particularly if going to the bathroom in the night!
No one forced us to pay what we did for the cottage. I was aware that it was well above the normal market rate when I booked, but there was little available. it is a perfectly fine holiday let, but not VFM. Six occupants would probably find it crowded.

It was very clean, comfortable and homely. We were made most welcome. There was off-street parking which is always a bonus. Very nice pub next door and a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water.
Nothing.

The cottage was very spacious and well equipped. In an excellent location for visiting other cotswold villages and only a short distance to Bourton on the Water cafes and restaurants.
No hanging space in the third bedroom.

House was a good size with everything you may need & spotlessly clean.

The cottage was so picturesque and quaint yet inside was modern, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed, including an outside table and chairs to relax in the evenings. It's within walking distance of everything in Bourton yet just off the main road to everywhere else and has ample parking for 2 cars. The garden is heavenly and the beds so comfortable! We couldn't have asked for more.
The extractor in the upstairs shower room wasn't working and the window was locked so we couldn't air it or get rid of condensation but that was a minor blip.

Beautiful property and garden fab location
