Had a great time ,staff very helpful

Location

The only thing I didn’t like is I stayed there two weeks earlier , booked same standard room but got a smaller room instead . I didn’t realize it until I got the second room two weeks later.

!!! Alles perfekt mit außergewöhnlicher Lage !!!

Preis-Leistung sehr gut - Lage super perfekt - Sauberkeit - Frühstück gut und ausreichend - Freundlichkeit

fehlende Lampe am Schreibtisch um zu schreiben o.ä. - aber gut zu verschmerzen ;)

Zimmer 315 !!!!

Die Lage. Es war sauber und das Bad ok. Es gibt einen Ventilator sonst wäre es nicht auszuhalten.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein!!!! Es gibt 2 schmale Fenster in einen Lichtschacht - man kann sie nicht öffnen!!! Keine frische Luft!!! Als Alleinreisender kann man den Koffer auf der nicht-benützten Seite des Bettes abstellen am Boden ist kein Platz!! Der Platz auf jeder Seite beträgt ca 20cm!!! Bei 2 Personen schon gar nicht. Der 'Schrank' ist eine 15cm Lücke mit 2 Kleiderbügel hinter dem Spiegel!!! Absolut keine Ablagefläche!!! Am schlimmsten ist der Plavon/Dach!!! Ca 9qm Glas!!! Ohne Verdunkelungs-/Beschattungsmöglichkeit !!! Viel Spaß in der Zeit der Mitternachtssonne!!!! Andere Zimmer sind sicher besser aber einige sind nur so zu haben und das wird so nirgends beschrieben! Fragen Sie vor der Buchung!!!!

Lovely wee hotel, and loving helpful staff

Great central location and very comfy beds. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

There is very little space in the room but it is comfortable. I went during the week so it was quiet but I think at the weekend there is a club above so they do provide earplugs.

Insgesamt eine bittere Enttäuschung. Nie wieder dieses Hotel!

Leider hat uns uns an diesem Hotel nichts gefallen. Wir hatten bei unserer 3-wöchigen Rundreise in Norgwegen zahlreiche Hotels und das Magic Hotel Korskirken war mit Abstand das Schlechteste.

Die junge Dame am Empfang empfanden wir als unfreundlich. Sie sprach schnell und undeutlich auf Englisch. Als meine Frau sie bat, etwas zu wiederholen reagierte sie leicht gereizt. Wir hatten einen der beiden Parkplätze gebucht, die das Hotel anbietet. Das erste Problem bestand darin, den Parkplatz zu finden. Er ist in einem Hinterhof, an dessen Zufahrt keine Hausnummer angebracht ist. Der Parkplatz selbst war übersäht mit Müll und wirkte unsicher. Nachts hätten wir dort nicht hingehen wollen. Direkt auf dem Vorplatz des Hotels war ein Treffpunkt von Obdachlosen, die sich teils aggressiv und lautstark unterhielten. Auch das machte ein unwohles Gefühl. Wir hatten das Pech, eines der sog. Atrium-Zimmer zu buchen. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und man konnte kein Fenster öffnen. Es war sehr heiß und es gab keine Klimaanlage. Im Zimmer befand sich nur ein Ventilator, der ständig lief, um die Temperatur etwas erträglicher zu machen. Im gesamten Hotel war es sehr warm und stickig. Wir hatten nach einer Nacht und dem Frühstück beide das dringende Bedürfnis nach Sauerstoff. Es wurde nirgends gelüftet. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls eine Enttäuschung. Ständig fehlte etwas (z. B. Kaffee, Milch, Brötchen) und wurde nicht rechtzeitig nachgefüllt. Es gab nur zwei überforderte junge Damen, die auf uns wie Aushilfen ohne Vorkenntnisse wirkten. Die Pancakes waren eiskalt.

Buena ubicación para visitar la ciudad

La ubicación es muy céntrica, y el desayuno está muy completo, aunque el café malísimo.

La habitación es un poco incómoda, le falta algo para apoyar las cosas del baño y un armario. Nuestro inglés no era muy bueno y la recepcionista hizo muy poco por entendernos.

Não foi confortável, mas valeu pelo lugar.

Localização excelente.

1. Breakfast não era tão ruim, porém não tinha funcionários para repor. Então, faltavam coisas o tempo todo. 2. Não tinha safety box, para turista isto é péssimo. 3. Não tinha frigobar. 4. Banho péssimo, não tinha porta no box e pior tinha um rodo para o hóspede secar a água. Nunca vi isso antes.

Das Hotel eignet sich gut für Kurztrips nach Bergen und liegt touristisch sehr günstig.

Mein Zimmer war sehr ruhig, obwohl das Hotel mitten im Touristenzentrum liegt. Das Zimmer wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstücksbuffett war umfangreich (ich war immer relativ zeitig da).

Wofür das Hotel nichts kann, was man aber wissen sollte: Gegenüber des Hotels trifft sich die Drogenszene Bergens. Das Zimmer ist eher nur zum Übernachten für ein/zwei Tage geeignet; also perfekt für einen Kurztrip nach Bergen. Es ist aber eben sehr eng, es gibt keine Schränke und auch sonst kaum Stauraum für Gepäck oder Waschutensilien. Dafür fand ich es dann doch recht teuer. In meinem Zimmer gab es keine Fenster, die man öffnen konnte. Und leider hatte die Kaffeemaschine für das freie Kaffeeangebot am zweiten Tag meines Aufenthalts den Geist aufgegeben und war auch innerhalb der nächsten vier Tage nicht repariert/ersetzt. Das Frühstück enthielt leider kaum typisch norwegische Komponenten, war aber sonst sehr gut.

Rommet var altfor varmt og det var ikke mulig å lufte jeg fant ingen ac og sette på. Brødet til frokosten virket ikke ferskt jeg tipper det var fra dagen før. Litt vanskelig å finne resepsjonen og da vi kom tilbake på kvelden sto det pga behandling av gulv at man måtte gå rundt bygget for å komme inn. Døra der vi skulle inn var dårlig merket og burde heller stått at vi skulle gå rundt hjørnet til høyre så hadde vi sluppet å gå rundt hele kvartalet. Rommet mitt var for meg veldig dårlig opplyst med bare lampe ved yttervegg og seng

I was not able to shut down the light at night. In my room there is a glass roof and form some reason there was a light on -whole night!! lift did not work 2 days!

The staff wasn't friendly or very helpful. The elevator smelled very bad during our whole stay and no one fixed it even after we mentioned it more than 2 times to the reception.

Location is perfect, in the city center, close to the harbour and public transport. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is good and varied. Room was clean, with nice interior design.

Bit strange that the entrance is through a grocery store. Would have liked to have some closed space.

Excellent location to explore the beautiful city of Bergen, and fantastic value for money

location, location, location - we were in the heart of Bergen, 2 minutes walk from the harbour, with all the bars and restaurants, city centre shopping area, and the Floyen railway. Fantastic location. the buffet breakfast was very good too. A 5 minute stroll to the light railway terminal, which takes you to the airport in 45 minutes.

Room was a little small with a large shower & toilet room but that was all.

Location was the best. It was modern and clean.

Location was good, 5 minutes walk to Bryggen wharf area. 10 mins walk to central shops, eateries and plenty around the location of hotel. Rooms modern and colourful.

Small rooms. No hanging space . One side of bed up against the wall, but most hotel rooms we stayed in are the same. Took longtime to check in. The lift broke down and still wasn't fixed 24 hours later , so we had to go down three flights of stairs with heavy luggage.

Room is disappointing and breakfast place disturbing

Breakfast was very good. For sweet tooth is quite alright, for "salted" breakfast lovers is just great. Every day different treats and dishes.

Pity the restaurant used for breakfast, that is a Jazz Bar, Night Club, which does not match for a breakfast. Our room, at the rooftop did not had any decent wardrobe, we had to leave all our clothes inside the luggage. Yes there is a "project" of design wardrobe, which in fact is just a bar where you can hang a shirt and a pant. The bathroom wasn't cleaned in all of our stay.

Superb

The breakfast was great! The staff - very friendly! And most important, the location - 5-10 min walk to each and every top place to visit in bergen. And there are some discounts at some stores and facylities with the hotel card.

The window from the room is long but small. No view at all.
