Modern refinished room in a restored manor house. Very well done and very comfortable. Easy to find and close to two excellent restaurants.
It was all good.

The view from all windows in our room, of the sea and mountains. Very historical building, 5th generation owner, many sitting areas. Steep staircase (more pain if you have been trekking), kitchen area for basic meal preps. (no stove or cook top)

Very beautiful and traditional house. Renovated and comfortable room.

Awesome view (especially from the room with balcony), nice location, close to Reine. Very friendly staff. Lovely and cute interior.

Beautiful house and great common kitchen and dining area. Good facilities to have breakfast and pack lunches. The free breakfast items and snacks available for guests was a nice touch. Jack genuinely takes time to get to know guests and help them do/see things during their stay. Being across from Anita’s with delicious fish burgers a big plus!
Shared bathroom was okay. Floorboard creek and rooms aren’t very soundproof -owing to being an old house. Need to bring eye mask as blinds/curtains still let in light in summer.

the view was stunning, the staff were so helpful, the room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.

Thank you for the very large room with the great view! We loved the location and the atmosphere in the suite. Great place to visit Reine and the Lofoten islands.

I recommend this hotel to everyone, the room is clean, self check-in, half a minute walk to the bus station. The scenery outside the window is very beautiful.I recommend room 6, very nice!!!

Its a lovely old building that has been tastefully renovated.
The only contact with owner was by telephone. Would prefer to have someone there to ask questions.

The host was kind enough to provide a complimentary upgrade of our room for all 3 nights. The suite with sea view was fantastic. Spectacular view from the room.
The house was very clean . The host kindly approved a late check out and offered to store our luggage till evening.
Breakfast items ( museli, coffee etc are available in the kitchen).
Loved our stay . 5 star experience.

I loved my little "cubby" with a twin bed. It was perfect.
It was a bit of a hike up the hill with my suitcase after a long day.

good location, good view

Great location, comfortable Ambiente. A few options for a small breakfast were provided, as well as a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Also, there were a few board games for lazy evenings
The kitchen (oven) was not functional. While I can see why a shared kitchen for multiple rooms can lead to problems, it was a bit restrictive when staying for multiple days.

The views from the room were amazing.
There is no lift; So we had to carry heavy luggage to the room.

Beautiful, bright, clean and comfortable room. Many personal touches like free coffee, and clean kitchen to prepare small meals.

What an amazing place! Everything was absolutely perfect, from the location and the decor to the thoughtful touches, like the book selection and tea. Our room was so beautiful and cozy and homey!

Fabulous place to stay, very centrally in Lofoten.
The house has been beautifully renovated to show its original character and provide modern comforts.
We had a first floor room which was bright and airy, with stunning views over Sakrisøy and Hamnøy. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft linens, and within the room we had a seating area, as well as a Nespresso and kettle for drinks. The private bathroom was across the hall and had excellent water pressure.
The shared kitchen downstairs was always kept clean and tidy, and had an array of breakfast items as well as a fridge for us to store any food we needed to. Be sure to book the rooms with cooking facilities, if needed, as the main kitchen has a toaster, kettle and microwave only. There is a washing machine for guest use also, which came in handy!
Parking is down the hill just off the main road, and there's no access by car to the house. It's not a far walk but useful to note with bags.
Paulina was very friendly and helpful, sharing local tips for things we could do.
Nothing - everything was perfect.

Very good quite location. Amazing house with a cosy familiar feeling. Nice large and warm bedroom. Kitchen facilities very useful.

Beautiful and stylish place
The staff makes you feel like you work for them. The do a favor if they answer with a grumpy response. There are also many unclear rules like cooking is not allowed for some rooms.
4.5
Very good location, easy checkin/out, comfortable bedding, big elegant bathroom, very clean, stable wifi, friendly staff.
4.5
right next to bus stop, excellent views from rooms, and in walking distance of a nice restaurant/cafe and a 15-20min walk to a market
4.5
The room had a nice view and a cozy place to sit and contemplate this view by the window (only comfortable if you are short). The staff were friendly and helpful, and we could leave our luggage before checking in and after checking out. There was a kettle, a coffee machine and a little fridge in the room.
It would be nice to have a glass to put the toothbrushes in, a toilet paper holder and a wardrobe. Another small issue was that is was often too humid in the bathroom.
