The location was excellent. Property was clean.

The owner of the apartment was extremely rude. Probably the worst person I’ve dealt with. We arrived around 10 oclock and couldn’t check in until 2 oclock. We wanted to leave bags somewhere and let the three kids play by the pool until 2. So I text the the owner and instead of being supportive. He drove to the apartment and escorted us out of the property. I asked what you expect me to do with bags etc and I’ve three kids. His response was ‘I don’t care’. Aside from that you are not allowed to drink or snack around the pool in over 30 degree heat. So any time you wanted a refreshment of any kind you needed to go back to the apartment. Be careful when booking as the pictures are that of a mixtures of apartments. We believed we were getting a ground floor apartment to find out it was a second floor apartment.

Fantastic apartment close to the marina

Fantastic apartment in a great location, 3 minute walk to marina with loads of restaurants, 4 euros for a Uber to old town, it was a little too hot to walk. Elisabete and Paulo were great, they could not do enough, great communication before and during holiday. Very comfy beds too!

Family stay

We had an absolutely great stay here with our family. The apartment was lovely and big, we had two bed that would very comfortably sleep 6. The apartment was very well equipped, had everything that you would need. The complex was spotless and has 24 hr security. Very close to marina and about 15mins walk to the town.

The only fault was that they are very strict on having toys in the pool, even a small beach ball for kids to play with, I can understand this when the pool is busy. We worked around this.

Would I return? No! Think that says it all.

The property was clean and well situated for the marina. The host Elisibeta was amazing but Paolo wasn’t!

The ants in the kitchen. It could be better equipped e.g. only 2 wine glasses for an apartment that holds 4+ people. There is no shade whatsoever by the swimming pool - not good when the temperature was 32+ every day. If you leave your sunbed for more than 15 minutes, the security guard will remove your personal belongings and give the beds to other guests.

Beautiful well equipped apartment with a few disadvantages

This property was modern, very spacious, well equipped and clean. It was located behind the Marina, very secure with well maintained grounds.

This property had a lot of advantages but would have been “ perfect” if a few minor areas were addressed. It would be great if the apartment had its own sun beds. The ones belonging to the complex were in need of replacement. Also there were no umbrellas at the pool which meant you had to bring the beds up from the pool each day to in order to sit in the shade, you are not allowed to bring the beds to the apartment ( condominium rules) so it’s a catch 22 situation. Our umbrella was broken and on reading reviews I discovered it had been for quite some time. When we reported it we were told it would be repaired on Monday as it was difficult to get workmen at the weekend. It did indeed get “ repaired” on the Monday as promised, but really was of no use even then, as it moved about it the wind and mostly protected the wall, as the beds had to remain on the grass out from the apartment. Another issue would be the fact that there was no cleaning ( which we didn’t really mind) but we had to remove our own rubbish ( as per instructions) and bring it daily to large smelly bins outside the complex. There were no bin bags there to be used ( as far as we could see) and we had to buy toilet rolls etc. Towels were provided on our arrival but it would have been nice ( without having to request them) if it were common practice to deliver fresh towels mid week. There was a washing machine but no dryer, so towels dried in the open air were very hard. We were a party of three but we were provided with only two keys, one for the gate to enter the complex grounds and one for the apartment. This meant that if and when we split up we couldn’t get back into the apartment without ringing and making arrangements with each other. It would be great if it was common practice to issue at least two keys per apartment.

Nice clean apartment, great location

The apartment was very clean and well appointed and the location was great if you dont mind walking. We enjoyed the walk to the most beautiful beaches and restaurants It was easy to find, and vertly safe

The pool looked lovely, but it was not heated, and there were no chairs to sit out in. This was very disappointing as the weather improved.

This is our second year staying at this location and would definitely plan to stay here again next year.

The location is close to many beaches, free parking and accommodations are very nice. The Property Management are very attentive and quick to deal with any concerns.

There was some noise (bouncing ball) above us in the evenings but was quiet after 10 pm.

Albufiera is a great Holiday Location and Apt O Jardins Da Marina was the cream on the cake.

The location of Jardins Marina is perfect. Albufiera Old Town is only a 4 euro taxi ride or a 20 minute uphill walk but there is plenty of seating to rest and take in the views and there is also a cafe/bar for refreshment. Closer to Jardins is the Marina itself a mere 5 minute walk out the side gate and your spoiled for choice as to where and what to eat we found the prices quite reasonable. The Apartamento O Jardins Da Marina is First Class our accommodation was more than we hoped for it is modern, very well equipped and spotless the rooms are huge and the beds are the best i have slept in. Whats not to like.

The only small complaint and it is a small complaint would be the state of the Sun Brolly which was broken and could not be used. Now i must stress that we did not inform our excellent host Elisabete regarding this if we had i know she would have sorted it out.

Lovely holiday appartment

The apartment was modern and clean, very spacious and well equipped. The owners were helpful and available if needed. Set in a quiet location behind the marina, the grounds and pool were clean and well kept. Overall a great holiday location.

The furniture on the balcony was tired and in need of change. Also there were no parasols by the pool to provide shade for those that need it.

DO NOT get the airport transfer service the couple provides!We we’re charged €55 for the taxi to Faro airport and it was a shared service,we were not informed of this when they booked it for us!They use flexitravel.pt which costs €37.50 for a transfer to Faro airport! They charge an additional €17.50 and don’t inform is a shared taxi!When you text them to complain of this,they don’t reply!There was an ant infestation in the kitchen.Couch in sitting room had a lot of wear and tear and had peeling leather and was just covered with a throw.They provided the bare minimum in supplies such as toilet paper and towels provided for the week.One bad quality pillow on each bed,bed needs two pillows per person like a hotel would provide.Bad quality bad sheets.Cooking pans for oven scratched and rusted,unsafe to use.Very restricted. “check in” and”check out”hours unsuitable for flights from abroad.Owner requested a change to check out time giving 15 minutes notice to collect keys and give back deposit,they rushed us out of apartment but didn’t change taxi collection time so we were waiting in the heat with two kids and all our luggage for over one hour.Once they had there money collected they didn’t care.Ruined impression on place.

Great pool area, very well kept with security guard on duty. Hosts were very efficient.

Location excellent, self catering

One wardrobe was unusable because it was filled with Half empty bottles of washing up liquid,shampoo,washing powder and rubbish, air beds and swimming aids. Pillows were of poor quality and beds uncomfortable.

A lovely first visit to Portugal.

We loved the apartment, it was spacious, airy and very well furnished. There was everything you needed for a self catering holiday. The grounds were very well kept as was the swimming pool, although we didn't venture in as the water was a bit cool for us. The apartments are a short walk away from Albufeira marina with some nice restaurants, bars and a few shops. There are two small supermarkets, a Spar on the Marina and another independent supermarket on the Main Street. There is also an Aldi and Lidl a short drive away. A 15-20 minute walk took you into the Old Town of Albuferia, as this was our first visit we took the tourist train initially just to orientate ourselves, but its a pleasant walk walk with some nice coffee shops with scenic views on route.

I do feel that some thought should be given to the checking in process, I understand there are no facilities for storing luggage on site, however we had a morning flight and so arrived 2 ,1/2 hours before the 4.00 p.m check-in. A taxi driver took us to the nearest cafe and we contacted the agent to tell her of our arrival, and we sat there until 4.00 p.m. nursing our luggage. I'm sorry to say that I don't feel this very customer friendly, maybe some measures could be put in place for early arrivals, if you are travelling from another country you have no control over arrival times. On a positive note we had a WhatsApp mid week asking if everything was everything was ok and did we need anything, this was much appreciated.

Everything we could wish for and more. Trust me you wont go wrong booking this.

From arrival to departure, everything went perfectly. The host met us with the keys and showed us the apartment. it was perfect! The property is on the bottom floor and leads onto the grass near the pool. It's just a few steps to the pool so it has some privacy from the guests in the pool looking at you sitting at your outdoor dining table but near enough to jump in for a dip. I would highly recommend this property. it's about 5 minutes walk to the Marina, a 20-minute walk to the old town, or 5 to 7 euro in a taxi.

I am not going to comment with improvements just for the sake of it. Everything was 100% perfect.

Comfortable and safe.

The apartment was very comfortable and the kitchen had all the kitchen appliances and pots that I needed. Loved the big refrigerator. As single females we felt very safe at the apartment. We appreciated that the heaters keep us very comfortable since there were a lot of rainy cool days during our stay - March. I did enjoy the Marina area - music and drinks in the afternoon. So you were close to food and entertainment. Big plus, there are 2 beautiful beaches that were only 1/2 hour walk from the apartment - these were not the beaches by Old Town. Note they had lots of parking if you rented a car.

Location. It was a little far from the old town and the strip. Plus it only has one bus line since we didn’t rent a car - every 1/2 hour except on the weekend. Then it was 1 every hour. It only had one sofa / couch. A second sofa and end tables would be nice. The apartment was huge and had room for this. Note the WI-FI connection was poor in the twin bedroom.

Lovely apartment but very soft bed

Beautiful apartment, lovely finish! Grounds were great, outdoor seating very comfortable and little playground was enjoyed by my daughter
