Spacious and friendly staff
Property was not well cleaned, some minor repairs warranted

Rooms were quite spacious, both the kitchen and the bedroom
Some of the bed frames / wood planks on the double sofa bed were already broken, so the sofa bed felt too soft. There were some mold near the toilet sink area. One of the pots in the kitchen cupboard got insects too.
4.0 / 5.0
It was a spacious apartment, with 2 double beds, a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms, a living room and kitchen.
The kitchen had a washing machine which was great, all needed utensils and what you would need for a family dinner.
Location is not great or close to the center, but the underground northern line brings you there in 8-9 stops and was good enough for us.
There's Aldi and Saintsbury right next to the underground and a big park all close to the apartment.
The host made it possible to check in earlier as our flight landed in the morning, which was great help.
This is an old apartment. Furniture is old, walls crumble a little, the second shower is old, small and uncomfortable to use, we eventually all used the primary one. This apartment could use some renovation.
A little more communication would be better. We only communicated with the host over booking chat and that is very slow - the reply came a day after. This is fine for routine stuff, but if there was a problem with the apartment - a broken pipe, no electricity etc. - that is not good enough. A WhatsApp chat would have been a lot better.

We rented a ground floor flat in a terraced house. We liked the location which was a short walk to the location that we were visiting. The only real problem we had was with the TV which did not work properly with the cable service. When we called the host somebody fixed that the next day. It was good that things got fixed quickly. There was plenty of sheets and towels and the property is a short walk from Wandle Meadow Nature Park. I would use the property again if I could not find anywhere nearer to the site I was visiting, however my wife says she would stay at home next time.
We rented a ground floor flat in a terraced house. This included access to the garden which was OK with two seats but very overgrown with weeds and looking scruffy with fake grass and ladders with convolvulus weeds growing through. The WiFi Internet is slow and I had to resort to using my 4G phone to get usable access. The TV and cable are a pain to use as the controller for the TV is separate from the cable and not the original so does not work correctly. The bathroom has a bath and shower but the shower has broken brackets and is difficult to use therefore. We were charged for cleaning but the standard of cleaning was not up to our usual standards particularly in the bathroom. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and my wife gave up after a couple of nights and went home to sleep.
