Goed genoeg voor doorreis/1 overnachting

Vlakbij busstation en we konden voor de check in tijd al in de kamer. Keuken was prima. Eigenaar geeft leuke tips voor daginvulling.

Niet hygiënisch, de badkamer was ronduit vies. Kamer was ontzettend warm en koelde totaal niet af in de avond.

No sleep due to very loud traffic all night

Clean, nice courtyard kitchen

The traffic noise is the loudest if any room I've started in, in 30 years of travel! Double rooms are close to ua main road, with trucks etc all night. Impossible to sleep

Hola I'm Igor...

Location was good, close to busses. Not much else, but it was just a transit stop to the border. I would use it for transit again. A nice garden area in back, but staff didnt mention anything about it. The guy really didnt want to leave his office cubical area at all...

I didnt jive with the staff that well. May have been that I was just tired, but I found the check in guy a bit assuming, and a bit arrogant, but functional enough. He tried a bit too hard in English even though I'm fluent and spoke to him in Spanish, he kept reverting to English, but then couldn't keep up, so we reverted to spanish, which would have just been easier. I get he was trying to help... but at a certain point, just stick to your native tongue. Splitting hairs, but it kinda bugged me.

Ok for a short stay

I liked the location, just a few steps away from the bus station in Liberia.

My room didn't have any window. Besides, the shared bathrooms and showers were constantly occupied, probably not enough for all the guests.

Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet mit Gewürzen, sehr sauber, sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, sehr gute Lage in der Nähe des Busterminals

Preiswerter Zwischenstopp nach Nicaragua

Super Hostel als Zwischenstopp nach Nicaragua. Unglaublich freundliche Menschen, die alles erklären und gute Tipps geben. Schnell erreichbar vom Flughafen Liberia und 300m von der Busstation entfernt, wo stündlich Busse an die Grenze fahren. Außerdem gibt es leckeren kostenlosen Kaffee.

Exceptional

I stayed in a private room. It was super conformable, clean, had netflix access and a lot of space for the luggage. Host was very friendly and gave good advice on what to do in town or how to get to other places.

It was a good price for a good night stay. Jesus speaks Spanish and English and is knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. Ask for a map.

It is noisy with vehicles.

I loved the whole vibe of the place. Dodero had clear directions for travel to different places within walking distance of the hostel. They arranged for a printed version of my airplane ticket to be delivered right to the hostel. There was a great common space and everyone was friendly.

If I had to answer this (I didn't NOT LIKE anything) I would've liked for my bed to be more balanced. my room to more pillows and sheets, AC instead of a fan and a remote control for the TV that was inside (I couldn't even turn the TV on, but I only tried late at night once everyone was in their rooms - I'm sure I could've asked earlier and gotten it.)

Completely misled by the advertisement of the place.

The advertising says A/C when there is no A/C, just fans that feel like they are going to fall off the wall. The man that checked us in was incredibly rude and told us we should have stayed in a more expensive place if we wanted A/C even though it is advertised right on their hostel sign

Very nice, friendly and convenient

The private room was really lovely and clean, made up nicely with a smart TV and aircon. Simple but great. There is a nice outside area with seating and a kitchen. The shower is really good and hot. Amazing location right next to bus station. Very helpful staff and lots of advice on activities and onward travel. Fast wifi. There is a security door/ gate so it felt very safe.

The shared bathroom was busy and not the cleanest. I think it may need to be monitored more, e.g in the morning there was no toilet paper. It’s also right next to the seating area and kitchen so lacks a bit of privacy. The kitchen was also quite difficult to use and not overly clean.

Great place to stay in Liberia

Hostel Dodero is located within walking distance from the Pulmitan bus terminal. There is a back yard with hammocks, tables, and a kitchen. The owner was really friendly and helpful. He gave us suggestions on where to go and what to do in Liberia and the surrounding area.

Worst stay we had in Costa Rica

Nothing, there was no quiet time and guest stayed up past midnight with music. Owner was rude and disrespectful, saying it was normal.

Read the good side. Close to the bus to get out of this place

Friendly, economic stay

The staff and energy of the place made me feel safe and at home. The staff had great recommendations on how to get around, were diligent to pick me up from the airport and were always available to assist. The outside kitchen in the back was equipped with what you needed to cook. The rocking chairs and hammocks placed throughout were very comfortable and all the plants and trees were beautiful. It was a very convenient distance, everything in Liberia was very walkable from the hostel.

Some dusting in the rooms. The room wasn't dirty but there was collection of dust on surfaces. In order to enter the hostel you need to be let in from reception that alerts them from a doorbell outside. This means if people are arriving late, at all hours the doorbell may ring. If your room is closer to the entrance and you're a light sleeper, you may also have trouble sleeping due to the cars and motorcycles that pass by at all hours.
