Big room , near the centre of town, good facilities. Ability to park the car for the whole day of departure
The sofa is a bit old and well used. No facilities to leave luggage except inside the car which wasn't ideal.

Very comfortable bed. Beautiful decor. Excellent location.
The plug for the hairdrier was too far from the mirror. Not practical.

The codes provided were correct. The room was comfortable and clean and the shower worked well. Good location and easy parking.
In the dark it wasn't easy to see the number for the door code. The lock boxes for the rooms are not the easiest to find. With there being no one in site it's difficult to raise an issue. The downstairs neighbours were rather noisy, but being a lone female I wasn't comfortable asking them to turn the music down (which went on until 02:00) so didn't get a good nights sleep. Appreciate that this isn't the owners fault.

Self check i was very difficult as was contacting host

The location and parking facilities are very good. No problem parking, there's a screen inside reception to enter your registration details then you can forget about the car. In the morning you step out the front door and you have the city centre on your doorstep.
The road is a little noisy at night, but if you have the windows closed disturbance is minimal.

The room was SPECTACULAR. Loads of space, amazing proportions. The bathroom was massive and very comfortable.
It was a bit of a faff trying to find the specific email with details of the multiple codes etc - there were no reminders.
The bed was uncomfortable, I was restless all night.
The room was HOT and the windows didn't open

Brilliant location. Able to eat takeaways at the property.
No issues.

Pillows are quite uncomfortable but other than that it was lovely

It’s a lovely building, big high ceilings and beautifully decorated.
It lacks the personal touch as there are no staff there. We stayed over the weekend and couldn’t contact anyone about the issues with had. however, they did reply quickly Monday to emails so I can’t fault them on that front.

Loverly size room. Shower was great.
The room could have looked Stunning but dirty windows and old furniture spoilt it. Would never go back. Will look for something else,in a few months
when we are due back.

Noise from the road was very loud - front door answer phone was in our bedroom

Room and bathroom. Location to get in to the town.
Door code failed for us and changed our plans. I phoned and received assistance.

Instructions were clear.
As we drove into the large car park the house was lit magnificently. We were overjoyed. Entrance was grand with a huge staircase. The shared kitchen, however was right outside our bedroom door. Fine if it was just for you to use but impossible listening to others tinkering about with plates and cooking smells leaving us trapped like students in shared accommodation until they had removed themselves. The room was toasty warm but the bathroom tiled floor was freezing on bare feet. A couple of runners in there wouldn’t go amiss. The rolled top bath was a delight but there was no towel rail so the towels were stuffed on top of the radiator or behind it trying to dry them out as we were staying for two days. The ‘Cathedral View’ was a bit far fetched. This house is on the main drag. Really busy, noisy road. Loads of cars and pedestrians outside the window so we kept the blinds down. I looked for the Cathedral. It is there, off to the right in the distance. You can just see a bit of it behind the rooftops of the houses lining the street. Tea, coffee, a few biscuits and those little milks were provided along with a mini fridge. I expected to find water and fresh milk in the fridge but it was empty. The bed had some thick thing on top of the mattress which drew the pair of us towards each other. I spent the two nights clinging onto the edge of the bed. There was one plastic hangar in the wardrobe which wasn’t strong enough for anything other than a shirt. There was a suit hangar thing that my husband availed himself of but my clothes had to stay in my bag which was annoying. We couldn’t find a Wi-Fi code anywhere. I checked the instructions, looked around the room, looked at reception. Nothing. Yet Wi-Fi kept asking us for a password. The best thing about this place is that it is a skip and a jump from everything. So central. We had a massive choice of where to eat. Unfortunately most of these places need booking in advance. A little note about that would have helped us out

The size of the rooms.
The keypad. It was not lit up enough so very difficult to read numbers to key in and the ‘enter button ‘ was not clear at all.
Also we were given an incorrect code for one of the room keys.

Very good location close to city centre with parking facilities. Room was warm, lots of hot water and the main bed was comfortable with good linen. Overall it was very clean and was ideal for our requirements.
We paid the supplement for use of a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable unfortunately. No light bulb in the bedside lamp which was a nuisance, and although the room was clean, some of the furniture was rather tatty; the carpet had a large stain and the blind to the side was broken so it felt all in need for some attention (including the outside area) given the price point of this room.

Although this wasn't the first time I slept at this location(and neither the last) and I knew exactly what to expect, this time I had a very unusual experience. Upon arrival at about 11.30 PM the keybox was left open and the key was missing. I messaged and phone called the host, but there was no reply. Luckily, there was another keybox left open with a key inside, so we managed to enter another room. In the morning, I called back again, but the host was not able to deliver a proper explanation. It would have been a serious inconvenient if there wasn't another key left at the keyboxes, given the fact that we had a toddler with us. Everything else was perfect-location, cleanliness, room temperature etc. All in all, I would definitely recommend this location, as I have already had another stay here after this particular incident, and everything went smooth...

I really enjoyed the room and shower, tea making facilities were great, parking was great. Very comfortable bed and the location to the town was brilliant.
I do like to be greeted on arrival but I understand that this does keep cost down so actually I didn't mind this. I didn't use the kitchen/dining areas so I will have to try them next time I stay with you.

Great room, great location for town centre and cathedral, good parking.
From City station only 20 minutes into St. Pancras. Parking only £3.90 after 10.00 am, cheaper at weekends.
Key collect boxes weren't obvious.
Wifi went down on Friday evening. The out-of-office number on the card in the room was unobtainable. This is really bad that there is nobody to contact from 5.00 pm Friday to 9.00 am Monday. What if there had been a fire? That is why I have marked down the facilities

Spacious, clean, big bathroom, small fridge, just about everything you need and also in a quiet area
Maybe have the top of the bathroom window covered as whoever is up above at the side can see down to toilet...a fan would we great and late checkout even if it's until 12 as sadly we didn't arrive until after 9

the rooms are so beautiful and grand
everything was clean
no reception, it was a bit like going to an air b&b, for the money we paid I would have expected hotel service, I like having someone there to ask about local restaurants bars and taxis etc

I arrived the hotel around 6pm. I did not received any welcome letter from the hotel so I did not know how to get in the hotel. I had to call the number written on the front door but her attitude was not welcoming at all.
Nothing was provided by the hotel for example tooth brush, tooth paste, comb, face tissue.
The fridge interior was very dirty. The shower area was tiny and the shower hose was locked and I don't see the reason.
The experience was horrible compared to what I paid for.

Great location and accomodation!
Could not get WiFi, it said to input Guest number I think. It did not accept room code, or door code. Could find no info how to access the WiFi.

Nothing.
The traffic noise was horrendous and constant. The owner said he considered this a quiet room then when I asked him to listen to traffic he said, well its a city centre hotel, so contradicting himself. The single glazing meant the constant traffic noise was very disturbing all night. Even Sunday early morning. The sheets were badly stained. The owner said they were clean but often left with stains, so they are clean and they use them until too stained to keep (urg!!!) The noise and creaks from upstairs were also really loud, but not our main concern. It is a self-check in so no-one to speak to, you have to phone and leave message. Awful place, misleading and untrustworthy-not offering a restful and peaceful stay as their advertising suggests. I found owner to be unhelpful, contradictory and out of touch. Would not recommendation it at all.

Good location. Nice spacious room.
Couldn’t get in front door. Code did not work. Luckily my friend let me in as she was already there. She couldn’t get in at first and needed help. Bit of a pain as we were in a rush.
