The stay was very nice and comfortable. Food was excellent and staff was very warm and welcoming.
The commute from the main road to the resort was really bad. the 3-4 KM stretch had very bad road.

This is the experience you don't want to miss out on. Very unique and earthy peaceful feeling.
Have their Chai and pakora on the patio in tye evening. Lush greenery, a little pond,
Clay house architecture, with central meeting space. They provide you with great hospitality, and help.
They definitely need to update their photos on the website because they don't do justice for what that place is like. They offer you great food, fun activities in the forest (hiking, biking, birdwatching etc, they should mention this in the description too)
We had a safari booking at 6am, and the staff made sure we had Chai at 5am when we are supposed to leave.
I would suggest atleast 3 night stay there, felt a little cut short for me.
Most importantly, they support ECO TOURISM. They hire local workers, buy as locally grown food as possible and supports local economy.
The only thing that I can think of is that the staff can be a persuasive. I personally love interacting with the host butsome people might find staff member sitting throughout the meal, while you trying to enjoy the delicious with your company a little interrupting.

location is good and the jungle feel with all the trees around is very nice
extremely over priced for an eco resort and the level of service provided. There is no room service or house keeping, you wont get anything to eat outside of the meal timings which too is restricted buffet only. You even have to go and fill your water bottle every time. Staff also lacked information regarding services and charges.
my only gripe is that they are charging 5 star level prices almost 9k per night for homestay/eco resort services and amenities. 4-5k night is max what they should charge for such a stay.

Greenery in the premisis
Approach from main road to the resort , a patch of about 7 kms is in a very bad shape .
Wi Fi does not work in rooms , nor there is mobile signal.
The room rent is too high for very basic amenities in the resort. It should not be more than 3000/- per room.
The window AC provided in the room did not work inspite of repaire by the staff.

It was a fantastic stay. As a family of three people, we all enjoyed to full throttle. The location of Camp Horn bill is excellent. Well maintained an eco place. Food and hospitality is top notch.
Price is bit on the higher side.

Excellent property, well managed and eco-friendly. The food is simple but very tasty and the staff are very welcoming. Great place to be in the midst of nature and to go hiking or biking in the forest. The stream flowing besides the property is an added bonus. Great for families and friends who want to de-stress and disconnect. The rooms are clean and spacious and the sit out areas add to the charm.
Nothing to improve!

The owners have done a good job in decorating the outer space and look of the mud houses from outside
Mud houses had very dim bulb and day time lighting was also poor. With insects and lizards in the room every now and then, stay was focussed on dealing with this creatures. No room service is understandable but not cleaning of room on a daily basis is unacceptable. The service was also poor and you have to ask for everything while lunch dinner, be it omlette, chilla, rotis. Seems understaffed for cost cutting.

We opted for buffet lunch and dinner - the latter was outstanding! The property is located in lush green surroundings with fruit trees all around. The river is just 5 minutes walk from here. One can experience peace and unadulterated natural beauty all around. The hospitality was exceptional - big thumbs up to Mr. Malkit and Mr. Shekar (owner) for making us feel completely at home! We will surely visit the property again whenever possible.
Nothing as such.

Awesome location alongside Khichdi river with beautifully well maintained property. great for family with young or old, away from hustle bustle, great food, courteous staff and most importantly a great initiative Shekhar and Naveen to bring natural awareness to all through economic development of their own village
everything was superb

The staff is very professional and courteous, the food is good and reasonably price. The location is lovely.
The bedsheets should have been cleaner. Since the weather was cold, the heather provided by the staff wasn't enough.

It's a perfect gateway - Esp if you are traveling with pets.
Very reasonably priced.
Unlimited and home style food, nothing fancy.
Decent space between cottages. It's actually as per the image.
I definitely have it on my second time visit places.
Nothing much.
Just that there are no sign boards pointing towards the way the resort is. So one could miss the cut towards the resort.

The site of the camp was great and secluded from the city, which is what we were looking for. Given that we had a 1 year old kid with us, safari was sort of out of the question. So we just stayed at the camp and went for a walk around. The stay was great, food was good and cooked home style. The staff was polite, accomodating and extremely helpful. Shekhar ji actually called us while we were on our way to help us out with the car ride as one of the familes had accidentally taken a longer route. He sent us location from his own phone and said that he would be available on his phone till the time we reached (which would be like 10:30 in the night). He made sure to keep dinner for us and was awake to check us in.
The only thing that could have been better/different was that our room had windows behind our bed which only had no glass door or full wooden frame to keep the wind out. They just had metal mesh doors which newspapers stuck to them to keep out the cold which was not very effective. Apart from this everything was great about Camp Hornbill
