Host sent me details the week leading up to our stay including places to eat & drink. Lovely property and perfect for our stay.
Painswick is a lovely place. Would love to come back again and stay longer.
nothing much - although the beds are on the small size.

Quiet location. Well fitted apartment.
Local shopping very limited.

Everything.
I already knew Painswick, but I didn't realise how little it had to offer in terms of amenities, so if you are planning to stay for a while, go to Tesco or Waitrose first. Otherwise, The Falcon has a great menu (be sure to book ahead).

Lovely apartment for five people. Beautifully furnished. Spacious and very comfortable. Really good value for money in this exceptionally pretty town.
The only slight issue was the early morning traffic during the week as the Manse is on the Gloucester route. But it was very quiet at the weekend.

lovely apartment in a lovely location. Well decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen area was great for breakfast and dinner for the little ones who didn’t want to wait late for dinner.
The sensor light in the bathroom meant that the lights went out half way through the shower, and came on and woke the kids when we needed a wee in the night. The bathroom needs a blind as the net curtain gave little privacy with the loo next to the window. Bedroom 3 had no curtains.

Warmth
Cleanliness
No potatoe peeler and no brushes or green spongy things to wash dishes. They have a dishwasher but you need to wash things inbetween so bring your own.
Also bring loo roll we were supplied with one and a half rolls for 4 adults for 4 nights. So bring some of that.

Beautiful airy and clean flat in the centre of Painswick. The flat had some lovely original features and it was perfect for 5 guests. Plenty of room and the bedrooms were all great sizes.
They flat had everything we needed from a dishwasher to a washing machine and some clear instructions from the host.
They even had games which was a great touch, especially as we were spending new years here.
The flat was a perfect location for walks around the Cotswolds.
Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
The single beds were not the most comfortable but ok for a few night stay

Well presented with everything you need without being too cramped.
The location was perfect with off street parking.
A very minor point, but the light in the twin bedroom was low and in a position where taller folk easily keep hitting their heads on it!

Superb location, right in the centre of Painswick. Very clear, detailed and efficient communication from host. Gorgeously presented interior, beds and towels etc.
Not applicable. We loved everything about the Manse.

Located in a lovely Cotswold village in a period house. Nicely decorated and light. Very good and easy to use heating system. Particularly liked the movement sensor light in the bathroom which turned off automatically. Great living space with kitchen corner. The three bedrooms were upstairs and all of a good size including the single.
There is only one bathroom but the bathroom itself is modern and bright. The double bed is not king size.

Great location in a lovely village. Plenty of crockery in the kitchen for cooking. A good shower.
The sofa and some of the beds weren't very comfortable. Fine for a couple of nights but maybe not for a week or longer stay!

The Upper Manse flat was perfect for our Cotswalds weekend! It had a perfect balance of English country charm with the modern conveniences.
It was perfect to have parking on site, laundry available and plenty of comfortable clean rooms for a family with 3 young adult kids.
the Great Oak Room pub down the road was a great end to our days, and we were centrally located for our day trip to Castle Combe, Cirencester, and Bourton on the Water. There were great little touches like old books about the Cotswalds and info about groceries and brunch nearby.
I would recommend anyone who wants to be in the area to visit the Upper Manse flat!
everything was wonderful!

A well presented property with a little bit of everything to make it feel homely and an amply kitted out kitchen for self-catering. Good joining instructions made the finding and accessing the flat really easy and the owner was easy to communicate with. Access to some nice local walks from the doorstep.
