Unbeatable views in modern flat

A very lovely stay in the middle of Modena. It is right on a busy old town street, one is immediately swept up in the hustle and bustle of the city - we liked the location a lot. The terrace has almost unbeatable views for Modena. Loved the little sun-powered lamps on the table. Sadly, the wifi doesn't reach up here so if you want to watch a film with a view you have to hotspot your own Internet. Bed was very comfy. Loved the washing machine. Allover a very nice stay!

The person handing us over the keys was in SUCH a rush, it felt a bit uncomfortable asking him for extra questions about the city so we did not. But there are a lot of maps on the kitchen table so it is fine. Also, no critique for the hosts, but one should simply be aware that this is an accommodation for fit people - yes, there is an elevator to the flat but you have to first get up a massive 60 stair marble staircase to get to it. Also, the flat is through 3 different levels so if one has mobility issues, then that isn't the right flat. Again, no real critique to the hosts, but simply something one should be aware of when booking.

Ville qui n’inspire pas sérénités la nuit et accueil assez décevant !

L’emplacement au cœur de la ville

La difficulté de trouver un parking hors ZTL La pression pour arriver à l’heure, (harcèlement par WhatsApp) Le mensonge de la dame a l’accueil qui nous a demandé 10€ en prétextant qu’il s’agissait de la taxe de séjour soit 5€/personne et /nuit (en fait elle est à 1,5€) Elle nous a dit qu’on pouvait rentrer dans ZTL !! Je n’en suis pas sure … de toute façon c’est invérifiable puisque on reçoit l’amende qq semaines plus tard !

Una notte a Modena

La posizione eccezionale, a 50 mt da Piazza Grande e dal Duomo, l'attico e il terrazzino, impagabile. L'appartamento è spazioso, il bagno grande e comodo. La colazione in un bar esterno.

Unico neo, ma riguarda tutto il condominio e non solo questo appartamento, ogni tanto si avverte un leggero odore sgradevole proveniente dall'impianto fognario.

Visite de la ville historique et quelques musées

Très joli appartement bien situé dans la ville historique, proche de nombreux restaurants et parking souterrain à proximité,à savoir qu’il y a une grande rampe d’escalier avant d’arriver à l’ascenseur et des escaliers dans l’appartement pour accéder à la chambre et les wc . Tout est bien pensé et la petite terrasse sur le toit un plus. La remise des clés a été sans problèmes . Si je reviens à Modena j’y retourne volontiers

We loved Modena and the apartment worked for us minus the two problems written above. Location good.

We had two nice breakfasts out compliments of the property owner. The roof top deck was lovely.

The coffee maker did not work and we had a clogged shower drain. We had to take 90 second showers or water would run onto the floor.

Modena is magical. Our accommodations were comfy and a great location

The location was great and allowed us to get to attractions easily. The roof top patio was phenomenal and a great place to hang out and look over the area.

There are a LOT of steps. This place is not good for older people or people with knee problems. We had trouble with the AC unit. I alerted the owners but fortunately it cooled off enough at night that we could sleep. We had breakfast vouchers for 2 caffe's nearby however, neither was open one of the days we were there.

Location was very central

The staff person wasn’t available at 3pm as stated. She works and travelers are not high priority. She didn’t show us how to work any appliances and when we tried to use them they would not work, not even the electric kettle. Very unfriendly. Not a very good place for seniors; there are three levels to climb to the bedroom and then the terrace. Not worth the price or effort. I would never recommend it.

The long way to get to the apartment. It would've been more convenient if you mention the long staircase as some people may not be capable to carry heavy luggage all this way (not to mention the other staircase to the bedroom). Also, the mattress is not comfortable and water pressure of the shower was very low. Please also ensure to include plastic bags in the room since there are no cleaning services daily. Bathroom had only a sliding door which doesn't actually close and there was no ventilation there.

Probably great for longer stay but not for short ones.

Great location.

Check in was not convenient at all with host not able to meet us at the apartment after our train arrived although it was during the check-in window. After setting a meeting time and receiving a lot of duplicate messages, had to wait for an additional 20' after meeting time. Shower was not clean with poor water pressure. No ability to store luggage after check-out.

Sry. Ice but needs lighting.

Location was great. Had an elevator. The apartment was a lovely 2 stories with a private roof top terrace.

There was very little lighting. In the bathroom the light over the si k did not work. Only had one small wall sconce for the large bathroom. Downstairs the one lamp over the table did not work. We had to bring a bedside lamp from upstairs to the down stairs. We were given an incorrect address to put into our gps causing us to walk much further than we should have.

I didnt arrive at the property because they ask extra money twice for late check in. I had a problem on my way and i announced that i will be late. First time they ask 10 euro extra, and after they ask another 10 euro, total 20 euro extra for doing nothing. So i ask to refund, and i made a reservation in another place. First they said that its ok, they will cancel it without anu cost, but next day they changed their minds. They dont want to give the money back, they just want to win easy money, by doing nothing. it’s not a trust partner, they could ask extra money and you can’t do anything because you can’t cancel it, underwise you will lose your money. I hope that no one else will suffer the same. I don't recommend it, there are other options that are much more correct and ok. Worse is that Booking does nothing to avoid such situations. Such properties should not exist on such a platform.

Fantastic location; Super clean; well equipped and very responsive host.

Breakfast vouchers provided for cafe in neighbourhood. Couldn't use them on first day but on second day breakfast was very good. Excellent location. Extremely clean and well-equipped,

Host could have been available for check-in. Supplies were very minimal. This is not an Airbnb but with Airbnb you get laundry detergent, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, basic cooking supplies. So although this was like an Airbnb in so many ways, it lacked some of the features of Airbnb, basic supplies in particular. Hard to access the rooftop terrace so we didn't use it as much as we would have liked.

Perfect apartment in the centre of town.

Gorgeous split level apartment in the centre of Modena, a few steps from the Duomo. Stunning rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Great facilities including a well equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect.

Best place to stay in Modena!!

We absolutely fell in love with Modena Charme and the city of Modena! The facilities are wonderful- very clean, comfortable bed, washer/dryer, great air conditioning, and likely the best view of Modena from the rooftop, where we spent a lot of time! Excellent location and breakfast as well. Irene was extremely helpful!

terrible hostess. we had to wait hours to get in. no accommodations made even though I was communicated.

I was so angry I didn’t enjoy the stay at all. this is my vacation in Italy and she ruined the night. I am requesting A refund of 50% because of the inconvenience of going back and forth to the apartment until she showed up.

the hostess didn’t let us in until 630. she works away from the property and had to wait until she was off work while we waited.

Superb

The highlight of this flat is the central location and the roof terrace. You can not find a lot of those, that makes this apartment very special. The rest was fully ok, we liked the uncomplicated communication with the host.

It's not a complain, just an advice, the roof terrace could be kept in better shape, like to install lighting and put some plants.

Very good

Nice apartment with a pretty roof top terrace. For breakfast you get vouchers for three different cafes, we went to Catedralli, around the corner and it was very nice (Cappuccino, fresh orange juice and a croissant of choice). The apartment is clean, just a little bit more worn than the pictures show.
