As a hotel this place is centrally located
Zero sound proof. You can hear moving chairs, bar and loud music as if this plays inside your bedroom. Very late special event party didn’t let us sleep until 3 am which meant next day was completely ruined. Zero respect to visitors for some mayor hosting above our heads.

There is a sauna and a swimming pool right in the hotel. The breakfast was gorgeous! I saw some Svaneti towers from the window and bought a Svaneti salt.
The breakfast was too gorgeous, we could not eat everything that was served to us, and I was upset about such a waste of food.

Loved the new and modern decor, warm and spacious rooms, staff were friendly and helpful, boutique size so easy to get around.
a gym or workout room would have been a great feature for days we weren’t skiiing and the non skiers in our group.

The room was newly renovated, clean, comfortable and spacious, with an amazing view, facing the mountains and the statue of Queen Tamar. The hotel staffs kindly gave us an upgrade. Our room might be one of the best rooms in the hotel. There was free shuttle service between the hotel and the airport. The swimming pool and sauna were brand new. There were a large variety of selections for breakfast, with different dishes every day. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 7 nights, and really enjoyed our stay there.
The hotel might be still in process of renovation. Overall everything is nice and new, but more is to be improved, especially the details. For example, there is no mirror in the changing room of the swimming pool. Nor is there heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is important for mountaineers in winter. Some lamps in the room were without bulbs. The food in the restaurant is a bit too International, not very Georgian.

Breakfast was great, location was great, staff were great, food was great, drinks menu was great, live Georgian music was great (book a table early i.e. when you arrive). Everything was great - apart from one small thing ....
We had a free upgrade which put us in a lovely room on the 3rd floor. Big room, balcony, nice view, really very nice. Problem is that the 4th floor is a hostel and the floorboards are thin and squeaky. All night, every night, the comings and goings of the occupants above intruded on our sleep. I imagine the hostel occupants are young party-goers and I don't blame them one bit for coming in at all hours and then waking up totally refreshed 30 minutes later to make an early start on their 30km hike, tbh I am tad bit envious because I am now a 53 old knacker who needs his 8 hours just to make it down to breakfast. I brought earplugs with me (which gave the wife a lovely nights sleep) and tried to get as much local anesthetic inside me before hitting the hay, but to no avail. The floorboards need lifting and re-laying with some of that expanding foam I think. Would I stay there again? Absolutely (but I would come prepared with two sets of earplugs and an extra bottle of duty free). The place is lovely and is fitting for the location, I have just grown more needy of my pampering comforts.
