Thank you Michael and Nika for sharing your home with us and being a wonderful host.
We brought our 21 ft Hewis and the dock was perfect for our boat it was great being back on the blue water ( we move to SC 17 years ago and this is the one thing we miss the most).
Your home was exactly as described we loved your nautical sculptures the lobster is amazing!
The home is well stocked with everything you would need and more. We enjoyed our evenings sitting by the water watching the sunset. Thank you again!

Michael was amazing! Very accessible, and easy to work with. On a canal with dock space if you need, but it does get shallow at low tide. There are fish that come out at night you can feed and see in the green light that the kids loved! We saw a skate, lots of snapper and a baby nurse shark. It's not "upscale" by any means, but it had everything we needed and suited us nicely. Great location. Friendly neighbors. Solid place to rent, and would rent here again. Biggest downside was no fishing off the dock, which the kids (5,3,2) were really looking forward to doing in the Keys.

The property owners were very attentive and extremely accommodating. Mike and Nika greeted us the day of our arrival to show us around the house, answered our questions, and encouraged us to contact them if we had any additional questions or issues.
The house was exceptionally clean considering it was a pet friendly rental. Since the property is totally surrounded by a gate, it was comforting to know our spoiled rotten beagle would be safe. The kitchen was very well equipped and the layout of the house was perfect for our extended family of six adults: grandparents, parents and two adult grandchildren. The first floor studio apartment was a great area for the grand kids to have their own space while the “seniors” enjoyed the peace and quiet of the second floor bedrooms and living/kitchen area. Having two refrigerators to house all our food, beverages and ice for fishing was certainly a plus (one of the first floor and one on the second).
We especially appreciated the location of the property. We kept our rental boat at the property’s dock on a canal that had access to both the ocean and bay via Tavernier Creek, rented kayaks and paddle boards from a nearby vendor to explore the canals and creek, and got to see several manatees from the property’s dock.
Overall, our stay far exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to return in the future.
Thank you Nika and Mike for being excellent hosts and making sure our stay a memorable one.

Great location, on a canal near Tavernier Creek. Saw manatees, took the paddle boards out to the ocean and took our boat for fishing, snorkeling and sandbar excursions.
