Perfect location with a view

We loved the location, right below the main town and with a beautiful view. The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. The room we stayed in was nice too. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Mooi hotel op een droomlocatie

De ligging - de netheid van de kamer - het ontbijt.

Ik had uitdrukkelijk op een kamer met terras of balkon gevraagd wat me ook schriftelijk bevestigd werd. Bij aankomst hadden 2 van de 4 kamers geen toegang tot terras of balkon.

pura ilusão das fotos vendidas do hotel le pela sua localização, paguei 2 diarias e só usei uma

café manhã razoável , a cidade é muito ruim, péssima, não volto e nem recomendo.

localização, para subiur até cidade tem subir mais 100 escadas, péssima localização. A booking engana totalmente com fotos e nota da localização.

有很大的停车场，真是非常必要的。房间特别干净，地板光亮到反光。早餐非常丰富，很多现做的食物，工作人员都很热情友好。露台的景色更是没得说。可以说没有任何不好的地方，非常推荐的地方。

Tutto perfetto. Accoglienza e servizio: perfetti. Pulizia: perfetta. Camera e arredamento: perfetti. Parcheggio incluso nel costo della stanza (a Ravello è un plus non da poco). Colazione: perfetta. Panorama: favoloso!!

Amazing view, amazing staff.

Astonishing view from the terrace where we took the breakfast too. Kind and helpful staff. Strongly recommended. Best place in the Amalfi coast.

For the center of Ravello the hundred and so steps or the 15min walk by the road could be a problem, but it's worth it. If you arrive by car it's better to call first and ask for the better way to get there. Google Drive sent us to a narrow no way out street.

Breakfast was good. Staff was excellent, very helpful and accommodating. Location was not that great, nice view but had to go down steps various levels and with big suitcases was not easy. Ramps would help

Beautiful and very clean accommodation - lovely shower - netflix available - always willing to help and assist.

Steep walk to main town centre. Fee to use the swimming pool! Nice to have been able to extend breakfast times. Nice to have mugs rather than cups.

Breathtaking view!

We arrived early, but the staff was delightful. Our room was ready, we checked in quickly and were shown to our room. It was a gorgeous view overlooking the coastline. Our room was right above the outdoor patio. We felt the property was very secure. Our room was spacious and in great working condition. We loved every minute of our time there. It is right by the city center, but I must admit, it is 200 steps up to the piazza. So, take some water with you, take your time, stop when winded... You'll get there. I think it was worth the view and the very accommodating staff! The breakfast spread was huge - lots of savory and sweet options. Ravello is a cute little tourist town and is worth the visit. We drove from here to Positano as we left.

There is a pool that appears to be part of the property, but it isn't. It costs to use it. But honestly, in October, the pool water temperature was too cold anyway.

Great stay

Beautiful view from terrace and breakfast was exceptional.

Room was very spacious but didn't have a chair. Water pressure is shower and basin very low and hot water kept coming and going. Hotel location good but stairs to village very long and steep so I used road.

Glorious view from the room in a newly built facility as of 2023. Breakfast was included, although it was mostly sweet stuff of average quality. Terrace is beautiful. A short 6-8 min walk up the stairs to get to the town centre, or about 12-15 min up the road. Staffs are responsive and very helpful. Rooms upstairs are more private.

It is a bit of a climb to get up into town, not for those with mobility issues. The property itself is also filled with stairs. Not a negative per se but be aware of your own needs. There isn't much amenity around so if you need food / shops it's all up the hill.

Climbing 150 steps to the main square does wonders to one’s health!

The room was huge and the bathroom was very large, too. Breakfast was good and served on a terrace overlooking the sea. Luisa, the manager, was super nice, as was the rest of the staff.

The mattress on the bed was very hard (which probably is very good for the spine) and the shower had only two settings: scalding hot and ice cold, with a total impossibility to set the temperature to something in-between.

The property was super clean and the AC worked very well. Complimentary breakfasts were good. Staff was very kind and helpful. They helped us get car transportation to the airport and cleaned the room really well.

There is no pool on-site. It is located next to a public pool, which costs $20 per person, and was pretty crowded with kids. The property is very close to the main town BUT you have to walk up about 5-10 minutes of straight stairs to get there, or take a longer uphill 15-20 minute route. This made going to the town a little inconvenient.

We had a lovely stay but I cannot say enough about Luisa and the rest of the staff!

The room was small but pretty and otherwise comfortable. They gave us gated private parking. The breakfast was nice.

There is another option to go via the road however takes approx 5-10 minutes longer

Nothing If you are travelling by taxi from Amalfi- be mindful the taxi is very expensive. As a couple we paid 40 euro going up (the taxi only dropped us in the main square) and going back down to Amalfi we paid 60 euro.

Clean, beautiful sea views and great staff!

Extremely clean accomodation, spacious room, beautiful sea views and great air conditioning. The staff were helpful and kind, provided laundry services at a reasonable fee. We were located at the bottom of the staircase leading into the town- it was an approx 5-10 minute ascent depending on how hot it was. Overall we had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend for anyone travelling through Ravello!

A quiet, beautiful place in the midst of tourist madness

I am sure most hotels in Ravello have a commanding view of the sea; this is a "vertical" town facing the Amalfi Coast. But Gala Residence is a great compromise: it has the View (select "deluxe with balcony and sea view") at a reasonable price. Yes, some of the 1,000+ EUR/night places in the city are breathtaking in their luxury; the Gala R is not quite like that. But the seafront from rooms 3 and 4 is superb. Although the room is not large, the walk-out balcony offers a nice option of sitting in with a glass of wine and all that magnificence of the multi-layer panorama. The personnel was exceedingly nice to us; Luisa stayed very late to greet us, ciao grazie.

We found the taxi transfer from Amalfi to Ravello at a one-way 80 EUR obnoxiously expensive. This is a 15-minute ride (7 km). There is a small white bus available, but it does not take passengers with luggage. In high season, this Amalfi-Ravello bus is attacked by travelers with a crashing vengeance.
