My husband, and 2 teenagers (13 & 16) and I visited family in TN and on our way home spent 4 days in PA. This property was perfect for us! We loved the location (did day trips to Hershey Park, Amish Country, & Gettysburg). Walked downtown for dinner the first night. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Cool shopping; historic city. The property is spacious, everything is comfortable, well decorated, and has a WONDERFUL rooftop deck. I had my coffee out there every morning! Hosts were very easy to communicate with, and nice and clear in their information and instructions. Would highly recommend this listing. We wish we could have taken more advantage of the walkability of the city, but didn’t have the time with all of our other awesome plans! The space has a lot of character. We thought it had a very “Newport Mansions” feel to the inside. Three separate floors, 2 full baths, 1/2 bath on main floor, washer/ dryer, central air, etc. Listing pictures are accurate. My favorite aesthetics: great lighting, long dining room table, nice mix of timeless elements with modern touches. The onsite parking for 1 vehicle was convenient for us, too. (There are additional parking options as well if you have more than 1 vehicle.) We would book here again!

This home is beautiful, clean and laid out exactly as presented on vrbo. Parking in the rear for one vehicle was easy, convenient and very appreciated! We cooked a few easy meals and had everything we needed. Being located in the heart of the city I was surprised to not hear any street noise and slept well.

The place is adorable. My husband and I went for a quick trip with two of our adult children to see Daniel at Sight and Sound Theater. We had plenty of space for all of us to dine and hang out. My husband and I stayed on the third floor. Unfortunately the shower was leaking onto the floor and the sink leaks when we turned the water on so we shared the downstairs bathroom. The staircase is steep on the 3rd floor and the railing on the left does wiggle when you grab it. I ended up letting go of the railing because it seemed loose and fell down that entire steep staircase. We spent the morning in the emergency room and I have a pretty bad concussion from the fall. I would recommend a sign asking guests to use the right sided railing only.

This house was amazing!!!! We traveled with 4 teenagers and a child. The 3rd floor suite was perfect for my husband and I, while the kids all fit perfectly in the other 2 bedrooms. There was so much space to relax and spread out and not feel cramped. We loved the deck for morning coffee! The kitchen and dining/living area was beautiful. It was the perfect location to walk to the best farmers market I have ever been to. Loved that we could walk anywhere for restaurants and the drive to Hershey Park was around 40 minutes but saved so much money staying here rather than in Hershey. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was perfect for couples. Top floor is quiet and spacious. Second floor had space for people to relax and spread out with the additional room. Location is great for walking into town with many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the central market and purchased local foods to have during our stay. Would highly recommended this home.

We loved the location and the house. It was perfect for 2 couples. Enough space to hang together and for privacy at the same time. Had 2 cars with one reserved parking spot, but Nathan told us how to manage the 2 cars. Will stay here again.

This property is lovely, with all of the amenities you’ll need for a wonderful visit to Lancaster. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The interior furnishings and bedding are luxurious, and the rooftop patio is an added bonus! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very well-appointed property.

Third floor master bedroom is huge! The whole house is beautifully decorated. It's a short walk to restaurants bars and the convention center. Definitely will stay here next time we're in town.

We stayed here with my family during a family wedding weekend. I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect! Even though I didn’t need it, the place was relatively child friendly as long as we had out baby gate. So that was a plus! Beds were SO COMFY and the rooms the perfect size. Bathrooms were clean and the mix of old and new updates were right up my ally. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again if there is another wedding in the area!

It was a very nice home. Parking is only for one car basically. Worked perfectly for our pre- wedding preparations. Firmer mattress would be nice. But we loved staying there.

The property was more beautiful than the pictures. Great for family breakfasts and a great rooftop picnic area for wine and pizza at dinner time. The location was excellent to walk to all the wedding festivities in the center of town. Would definitely rent again, if I needed a place in Lancaster.

I booked this home to celebrate my friend’s bachelorette party and we had a great time. The house was pristine and beautiful. Plenty of space for 7 people. The location is perfect; within walking distance to local shops, market, bars and restaurants. No complaints here. I highly recommend booking this home for group events.

This is such a cute space for your friends and family. We held a Women's Vision night at the house on Friday and stayed the rest of the time just to hang out. It comfortably held 13 women with an extra card table brought in. The space was inviting and comfortable which is really important when you ask people to dream....

I'm quite surprised that this listing has received a "Premier Host" status. As soon as we walked in, the house smelled musty and smoky. The white rugs were noticeably dirty. The white furniture was noticeably dirty. We didn't want to sit on the furniture or walk on the rugs, it was that bad. There were stains on the sheets, the towels, and bugs in the upstairs shower and on the bed headboard. I really hate to leave this type of review but this was our experience. I emailed the host and didn't receive a response. I would not recommend this property until the host takes the time to invest in cleaning the rugs, the couches or purchasing new ones, airing out the house or figuring out a filtration system where the mustiness/smokiness isn't clinging to every part of the house. This one was a miss for us.

My husband, 3 daughters (ages 23, 20 & 17), my father-in-law, and I visited Lancaster for 2 nights to attend a wedding being held at the Excelsior. The location and size of the rental was perfect!!! We were able to walk to restaurants, stores and the Central Market.

Great Central Location

We had a multi day sports event in town, and this was so much better than renting a hotel room. We had a washer/dryer for the day it downpoured on all of their sports gear, and a beautiful kitchen for making our own healthy meals. Plus, downtown restaurants were a short walk away. The best feature: a mud room at the back of the house was a perfect landing spot for bags and allowed us to easily unpack/pack without tripping over each other. Perfect property for our stay.

My husband and two teen boys came to visit my brother and his wife. The house was PERFECT for us. More than enough room, comfortable beds and such a cute place. Wonderful neighborhood was quiet, had a great walk to the Creperie one morning. The kitchen was great to host my brother & sister-in-law for dinner each night, even cooking 2 nights. Great hosts with great communication!

The house is nicely decorated and extremely clean. The location is great—in walking distance to everything. It was perfect for my group of college friends who met up in Lancaster! The beds are comfortable and have high quality bedding. The owners have excellent communication and provide clear directions. I would highly recommend this property!

The home is walking distance from everything... bars, coffee shops, art galleries... I highly recommend this property to any one that is thinking of going to visit Lancaster.. A group of us that were apart of a wedding had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home. Quaint yet gorgeous, it looks exactly like the pictures from bottom to top. We were sad we couldn’t spend more time in actual Lancaster due to the business of being in a wedding, but the neighborhood is definitely welcoming also- full of little shops/boutiques , restaurants and plenty of other cute houses! So I hope to have a reason to visit again , especially after a pandemic when I can explore a bit more and enjoy Lancaster too. All that to say, we felt safe & sound. Nathan & Becky - Thank you again for all of your accommodations and hospitality -especially virtually :) !
