Loved Longreach, did not love the hotel.

Location.

Rat droppings on the floor and in the bathroom when we entered the room. We had already moved rooms once because there was no toilet paper and the room was very unclean. The staff were very nice about that. At first look our new room looked wonderful but…. Rat poo, rats got in and took apart our food bag while we were sleeping. If we had known it was so tricky everything would have gone into the fridge. . Everything was mean. Only one tiny bit of soap. It needed a good clean. It was a new bathroom but the basin was unusually high, no bath mat, didn’t drain properly, no hairdryer. I was very excited to have a balcony but when I went out on it, the nails hadn’t been hammered in properly and half looked unsafe.

Nice spot, right in town

Great location in the town centre. The room was clean and comfortable, The bathroom, which had been renovated recently, had a walk in shower and a large rainfall showerhead, giving it a very contemporary feel.

Our room was located on the first level, which was accessed by a caged stairwell. This made it awkward to get bags and personal items to the room. Not sure why the property had caged access but it did not lend a welcoming feel to the otherwise decent accommodation. Room was a bit pricey for what was offered.

Before checkout the cleaner used her key to open the door at 9-45 I found that very inappropriate needs to be address as invasion of privacy

Pleasant

Location was good. Good sized room. Good water flow from shower.

Two story besser brick building not built with any sound proofing and tiled floors. 2 units of 10 were occupied. I was put under a family with toddlers running around. Chairs screeching on floors above. Ahhh. This room is only worth $80 in peak season. Someone is pushing prices up in longreach. Plan your trip to visit this great place but do not stay in this town until prices are reasonable.

Passable

Beds were comfortable was close to the main street

Bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, the mirrors were filthy and it was very dusty

Disappointingly poor had no sleep!

Close to central Longreach shops

The room were grossly dirty with cobwebs, ants, dirty remote etc! The gap of the door in room 13 caused insects to come in, the beds are bloody uncomfortable and the laundry made a noise all night with metal falling around inside machine! Never ever will you see us again!

Location was within walking distance to shops

Cockroaches no shower curtain, broken missing tiles in shower vanity unit damaged around the base falling apart, freezer unusable. Stayed 4 days NO clean towels, top up of coffee,tea milk. Very dirty unempty bins. No wi-fi. Complained to staff not interested. Had already paid nearly $800.00, everything else NO vacancy. No choice. Lucky we were out every day

The motel was very central

The towels provided were very old and worn. No bath mat was provided and this presented a slip hazard. There was mould in the shower and the shower door was unstable. The queen bed had significant dips in it which had been covered over with an overlay that didn’t prevent the dips being an issue anyway. No clean towels were offered during our three night stay and there was no one around to ask

The location was good but the motel was very bad for the money we payed. it was $100 more than any other place we were staying and very poor. just coffie and tea. The bed was very soft and the room was full of dust. nothing like the photos on here, exept the old bed radio. But the aircon was good.

Expensive for a dirty room with broken/old furniture.

The location was fine.

This Hotel charges very high prices and was quite dirty: the place hadn't been cleaned properly - it was dusty, the chair provided was very dirty, the bathroom had mould, there was an overflowing bin outside my room's door which is probably why there was a cockroach in my room, the bathroom tap had scum around it, there was still one empty toilet roll on the holder and the spare blanket hadn't been changed since the last guest as it was not folded properly. Also things were broken: the bedside light was wobbly, the smoke detector was missing its cover, there was no shower curtain. The sheets were clean and the place seemed to have been mopped but this hotel really needs to pick up its game.

Appalling and very over-priced motel. Will never stay there again.

The hotel was disgusting. Very dirty rooms. Rodent droppings in the shower. Outside bins overflowing with food scraps not emptied once while we stayed there. Staff member who checked us in was only interested in getting the room payment from my colleague who had reserved her room. We were charged $456 each for a two night stay. Rooms were worth much less than that. Remotes for TV and air con didn’t work neither did the internet. My colleague and I took photos and will be reporting them to the health department. Furniture was falling apart and dust everywhere. No customer service or care.

Very poor

Location is excellent.

Cleanliness of the rooms was very poor. Mould in showers in both rooms and no shower curtain in one room. Cobwebs on walls and floor felt unclean. The mattresses were old and of poor quality and towels in one room worn out. Sheet on one of the beds had blood stains (totally unacceptable). I will not be recommending this accomodation to family or friends. It is time for a revamp, as Longreach is a great tourist destination and again this accomodation is in such a great location

the room was dirty and had mosquitos the cups and kettle where dirty, outside our room was a rubbish bin overflowing with rubbish when we asked for extra towels and clean cups etc the staff member on shift was very rude overall not a happy experience would never stay there again
