Overall I enjoyed my stay but I would not suggest staying on the first floor regardless if you have children.

I enjoyed that the property was close to various restaurants and attractions.

The noise from other rooms ran late into the night. There was a water leak in the room above and the electricity shutdown due to issues outside of the hotel but the issue was resolved within an hour though it was inconvenient.

Overall, pretty good.

We enjoyed the breakfast, and hotel and room is pretty clean and well maintained for the most part, it was great having a kitchenette style room and bigger fridge! Comfortable king mattress! great convenient location, close parking to entrance, and most of the staff were nice and helpful.

Sofa bed was definitely not comfortable to sleep in. We wouldn't recommend it or use it as a bed again, but truly use it just as a sofa. As such, it is comfortable to sit on etc. But once you turn it into a sofa bed, it is not springs, just a flimsy cot that sags a lot and makes loud noises with any single move. The shower water was a bit weak also, It would be nice if the shower head offered more than 1 setting to change to so that the water could come out a bit more abundantly vs weak and low pressure. Many linens and towels strongly smelled like bleach, which I noticed many hotels are like that these days. It's nice knowing that things are pretty well sanitized but it would be best and healthier if they are rinsed more thoroughly to better remove the excess bleach and smell.

Son's 9th Birthday Celebration a Success with HOME2 SUITES.

The whole experience. It was great to be in a hotel where we (wife and I) don't have to worry about how clean and wonderful the room was. Always a pleasure to stay in Home2 Suites Carlsbad. My Son LOVES this hotel. Had a choice of Legoland Hotels or Home2 Suites...He chose Home2. It was his birthday weekend and we enjoyed every minute of it. Location is great, Breakfast is very good, Pool is awesome and kitchenette is outstanding to have in the room. TV was great with all the channels and Netflix. Kudos to the Staff and Front Desk Reps. Paula was so very helpful and courteous. Will be back soon. Manny-A.

Simple never again

It was poor with almost fast food type service, nothing that would be unique or different frute that could not be cut as silverware was so poor that a knife could not cut an apple.

Breakfast true eggs and not powder made from process, The suite much to be desired, it is just a bigger room

Great place!

Great room, location, and service. Paola at front desk was very kind and helpful. My tv remote had a battery issue, and maintenance came to fix right away!

Relaxing and comfortable

Breakfast was very good every morning. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location is great, not too far from the freeway and there is plenty of stores close by

The only thing that I can think of was the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows made my neck hurt

Great location to Legoland, animal park, also great extended stay if you needed it

Great rooms, with a larger than normal fridge, workout room was great with cleaning supplies, staff was very friendly and breakfast was great for the family.

Room was clean and filled with ample bedding and towels.

The breakfast was great! Wide variety of breakfast choices. Coffee and tea all day was a pleasant surprise. Ample area for seating - inside and outside. Friendly staff on hand to answer questions. Great location.

Firmer mattress. It was too soft for us. Needed to use 2-3 pillows to elevate head while sleeping.

Great place for families to stay!

Property is super clean. Rooms are open and spacious. Love that the rooms have mini fridges, microwaves and even a dishwasher. Tons of space for storage too which was a plus for us because we felt more organized. Breakfast is served complimentary every morning and they have a great selection. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio each morning. They have a nice pool, outdoor fire pit, grills and play area. We didn’t use any of those, but it was available.

The only thing I didn’t like was the elevator. It’s a 3 story building with 2 elevators that run SUPER slow and sound like they are on their last leg. Use the stairs at the end of the hall. It will be quicker.

Clean. Hotel didnt smell like a hotel, clean modern loved it! You can tell its a newer hotel. Free Breakfast was great. Coffee also very good Zero issues. Will be staying here again

So comfortable we wished we stayed more nights!

The room was super spacious and felt like a studio apartment. Very homelike.

The water in the shower took a long time to heat up.
