Superb holiday

The property was located in a beautiful location. It had everything you needed. Views from the balcony are breathtaking. They even left us some complementary snacks and drinks which i found very nice. They also left cupboard food for us. I have to say that the highlight of the holiday was Rossano who went above and beyond for us from the beginning till the end. Every time i asked him for directions or information he was always very quick to answer and give us the right directions or information we needed. Very pleased with the property and Rossano especially. Would definitely go there again. A big thank you to Rossano, you’re superstar.

In front of the sea, amazing view and apartment!

Dreamed view and excellent attention of the owner. The apartment is wide, very functional, and has a balcony with amazing sea view. Loved waking up in front of the sea through the window of the bedroom!! Very well located, can go walking to Amalfi center and move through Amalfi Coast from there, by ferries and bus! I recommend it!

Loved our stay here, would definitely stay here again and reccomend to friends!

The host Rossano was fantastic! So helpful and available, provided all necessary information and replied quickly and efficiently! The location was fantastic, overlooking the ocean and just a short 15minute walk to the main square of Amalfi (uphill wasn’t that fun sometimes, but a little bit of exercise is always needed when you’re on holidays…. :p) The accomodation had all facilities necessary to live independently, cook, clean etc.

Beautiful, Simple, Pleasant Stay

Beautifully decorated, clean, equipped, and even had coffee and cookies for us! The view was beautiful as you could look along the coast towards the marina and center of Amalfi, so course that’s entails you walk about 20 minutes from the center to get to the property.

The beds could stand mattress toppers to be a little more comfortable. Not the properties fault but the walk down and back up from the center isn’t bad it’s actually beautiful, it’s just that you’re walking right along the traffic and at nighttime it’s a little tricky.

great home, clean and lots and lots of homily extras

absolutely great place to stay, 20minutes walk downhill to centre of Amalfi town. host exceptional, we literally couldnt fault how quick she responded and so so lovely. I would have loved to have met her to personally thank her for such an enjoyable stay in her beautiful home. instructions to the home 100% fantastic, would definitely recommend

the booking stated bed and breakfast. breakfast was only one packet of biscuits for 3 days. so please don’t expect any breakfast if you are booking this accommodation

A long walking

The host was available for all questions. The place was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped.

The location was 1 mile uphill from city center with no sidewalk in parts. The parking was difficult and the public parking was 100EU per night. Public transportation was not reliable. The nearby beach was not a free beach, but charged. .

Superb

Our host Rossano was amazing! Very easy to contact and extremely helpful. Location is 20 minute walk to city centre. Property is clean with working air con. Amenities such as hair dryer, iron and towel all included.

Disappointed

I liked the balcony. I appreciated the washer and the large drying racks. The tomatoes and the small gift were a nice gesture.

We had hot water only intermittently. Most of us in our group had to take cold showers. Also, the iron in the smaller apartment was unusable. The lack of hot water in both apartments was a spoiler for our holiday.

Very uncomfortable and overpriced

We did like the location, because it's not far from the city center. But this is about it what we liked about this place.

Our stay was very uncomfortable for a whole our family. The sleeping there was a disaster, everyone had a sleeping problems. There is no air conditioner in the bedroom, and you have to sleep with opened windows. Its noisy 24/7 because main road goes just under the windows. Apartment is too small for 3 people. There is no space to eat inside. We were offered to use patio but it's far from apartment, and furniture there is so so aged, that we thought it will break on us. We originally chosen another apartment with balcony, and was really disappointed that were put in this place. Apartment has stairs to the bedroom, and my wife who is recovering after car accident, had a hard time to climb those stairs. Also from the road you have to take stairs to the building. And with luggage us not very pleasant walk. The apartment is VERY overpriced for such uncomfortable stay. We honestly counted days to go home.

We loved Amalfi and the apartment was the perfect location

The location was just right. 1500 meters from Amalfi town. The view of the sea from the bedroom window was great to wake up to. Rossano even secured a car for us to get to Salerno at the end of our stay. I said I would give him extra stars for that. The ride was beautiful.

The bed upstair was a bit hard but still I slept well.

Very good

1) Excellent host - good communication, responsive, helpful and flexible. Encountered a few issues during stay but host was very responsive and prompt to solve issues for example replacing a malfunctioned iron, had issues with taxi arriving late upon check out and host was kind to allow us to check out later. Also master room had a malfunctioned air con but host offered to get a technician to had a look at it and got a fan as replacement. There was also a huge blackout in the whole town of Amalfi so we were not able to enter the property but host was really prompt in advising us on accessing the spare keys. Also provided useful info, numbers and contacts in advanced. 2) Beautiful sea views!! 3) Spacious

-If you have big luggages, be vary of stairs as there are no lifts -Very basic hair dryer -Would be good if host could provide soap and shampoo (we ended up buying them in amalfi centre so not much of an issue) -around 20 mins walk to Amalfi centre (not a problem if you don’t mind the scenic walk)

Exceptional

The apartment was clean and comfy, everything we needed was there, in addition you will find coffee and tea, the garden was so beautiful and nice and also has a sea view. The host was so kind and sent us all needed information and replied on any question. The location was so beautiful and the road to the Amalfi coast a little bit risky but soooo beautiful.

First of All be sure about which apartment are you booking because there are two and accidently we booked the one with no balcony. But it has a garden so it was also good. Actually the apartment is a little bit unsafe for a baby because our baby is crawling and the apartment has a downstais so we couldn't let him play as he want and also there is a small library instead of a wall which he can easily pass through it and fall down on the stairs.

Beautiful balcony with great view. And nice walk (20 min) to Amalfi. Dish washer was great. It was very clean. Double shower was very comfortable. Bus Station right in front of the appartment.

AC was a little complicated to use. At some time it worked at another it didn't. We did not understand why. But Rossano was quick in answering.

A great place to stay!

The staff is very polite and reachable. The room was tidy upon arrival. The room had comfortable beds and a good shower. Additionally, i forgot my keys near the room and they were sent to my home very fast! I highly recommend this place.

Loved it !

Great property to stay at and Rossano was an amazing host. He was very clear on instructions and was available on whatsapp for any queries. The house is big and accomodated us very well. The views from the balcony were awesome. The house has everything needed for a holiday stay and we really liked the biscuits kept by Rossano :) The only missing part is a microwave and having it would have been more helpful for warming up food. For future travellers: There is a 'tabac' shop right opposite the bus stop in Amalfi that sells single trip bus tickets. You can walk down to town from the property and on you way back you can buy tickets there and take any bus that goes to 'PAGEROLA' and get down at 'Hotel De Cavelier' which is right down the steps for property. You can also take the bus that goes to Amalfi fromn here if you have tickets, they don't sell tickets on the bus. These instructions could have been helpful for us as we ended up spending 20 euros for a taxi trip the first time instead of 1.60 Euros on bus. There are buses every half an hour from Amalfi.
