Great value for money lovely grounds pool and restaurant

Resort style feel great restaurant lush plants around resort looked tropical

Our room was next to a loud family, the walls were thin could here a baby monitor playing music during the night very annoying

Do Not stay at Oaks Port Douglas!

The Hotel is old and rundown. The rooms were not clean. Mould in the shower. Broken furniture on the balcony. Rusted furniture in the bedroom. Sticky unclean kitchen cupboards.

Clean, comfortable room, great pool area.

Very clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff, nice pool area with lots of sun beds.

Only complaint would be the 10% surcharge they have on food and drinks purchases at weekends. Expect it on Public Holidays, but not on weekends.

Okay but not value for the price.

Carpet loose in bedroom. remote had no batteries. Adjoining room was not locked and other guests arrived.

we had the most lovely time! so relaxed which is what I needed! thank you!

we loved the gardens and the pool, although the pool was a bit like soup as far as temperature wise. and I noticed that there were a lot of like empty drink bottles and cans etc laying sprung for hours. I kept waiting for someone to come pick them up from around the pool. but other than that everything was lovely.

it just seemed like it could do with a bit of a fresh coat of paint within the foyer area etc. but we had the most lovely time. and would definitely go back there. staff were wonderful, rooms were really nice and comfortable and clean. parking was easy. breakfast was awesome value and delicious!

Needs a refresher/upgrade

Loved that everyone was so friendly and always offered to go above and beyond. The bed and pillows were also super comfy!

There was no mattress protector or fitted sheet so it kept completely coming off. Also had a double bed doona/duvet on a king sized bed. The fridge froze all of our things even when we turned the temperature to the warmest. Lots of ants everywhere, online food ordering app never worked and when we called to order over the phone they just said to order on the app even though we told them that it wasn't working. All crockery was also not clean at all so I had to scrub it all before using anything.

Spacious comfortable apartment

Spacious and well equipped apartment surrounded by nice gardens. The Oak has a big pool and good restaurant and bar. Very friendly staff.

Expectations fulfilled and could have been exceeded

The large room sizes along with the kitchen spacious bathroom and equipped with a washing machine and dryer as well as cold air-conditioning and two Tvs and many channels.

all facilities on the property was excellent

the property was awesome, my only thing I though there wasn’t any table or bench space in the room and it’s a necessity for travellers, everything else was outstanding including the staff

It's all about the pool side. And location to city centre was good.

Construction happening that wasn't advertised when booking. Food options on-site were pretty ordinary. Bar closed 830pm - way too early.

Lovely accommodation but unfortunately it having the bar and dining open of an evening ruined it.

clean and comfortable rooms. Clean resort.

disappointed that the bar was only open one night and closed at 8.30. and pool bar closed at 5 so had to go into town to eat and drink. for the price of $680 for two nights would of like to know about this before booking with them.

Overall, it was a nice stay with friendly staff.

The pool was what attracted us to the property as it had a nice set out with a swim up bar.

The cleanliness of the rooms weren’t great. our bathroom was mouldy with a shower that had the previous person’s hair on the walls and drain. The iron had something melted onto it which ruined the top that was ironed. It was then replaced with another iron that also left more marks (not burn marks). The pool didn’t have much atmosphere once the music was turned off and the swim up bar closed way too early.
