I only stayed one night but it was exactly what I needed. A comfy bed, spacious bathroom.

Breakfast was very nice. I enjoyed it. I like the set up and the variety of food available.

Didn’t attend b’fast. Location rxcellent

Arrived at 3 am as arranged. No building access. No buzzer on front door. No staff. Waited 15 mins in the cold. Needed to get a passer by to make an internal call to the reception, to tell them I was locked outside. Eventually somebody appeared to check me in

Awful!

The cleaning lady rang at my door and woke me up at 8:30am (I did not ask for anything). I went out for a coffee and I had to wait for the room to be done. The room had been cleaned at 12:30 pm!!!!! (and nobody could have given me an explication for that, I just waited out of my room). Not finished. I twisted my ankle. The reception had not been able to give me a plastic bag with ice cubes. It s one of my worst experience.

There was 4 people in our room, we had 2 towels and 1 roll of toilet paper. The pool had no towels .

We were there for a family celebration and the hotel felt quite oppressive so we spent a lot of money going out a lot.

It wasn’t as advertised and the decor was very dull. The restaurants didn’t cater for all ethnicities.

Neither of the power points next to the bed were working. Room 424. Annoying for charging phone over night.

Brilliant Stay

Space in room was brilliant. Clean and very functional for our family of 4.

The beds weren't as comfortable nor big enough for x2 adults. Luckily we could fit an adult on each bed with one child each to be comfortable. I would suggest extra locks on doors inside rooms for extra measure of security. Our young child could open the door quite easily and escape the room.

Our stay was too short!

Enjoyed the heated pool and having booked a club room with exclusive club access was a lovely treat!

On arrival to our room the door swipe card didn't work but a quick dash return to reception we were provided with a new swipe card.

Our number one accom choice in Auckland. Actually we don’t go up on a weekend where GMB has no rooms left.

Always hospitable. Always clean. The revamp in lobby looks amazing.

Our toilet did not flush properly but we did not speak up. They’re too kind. We didn’t want to make a fuss.

Big comfy room

Didn't like the parking also receptionist wasn't very hepfuland I didn't like the fact I didn't get my bond back which is dumb because the room was undamaged I'm yet to speak to someone about this matter.

Worked well for our 2 nights in Auckland as a family group, nice spacious rooms and close to CBD, great stay!

Great location, only ten mins to sky tower, two double beds in the room which is great for family groups, Sean very helpful too

No teabags replenished when room refreshed, could have done with more towels but very minor issue!

Really great staff from pre-check throughout our stay, great to have parking in the city, room rather dated but pleasant. Bed very comfortable and great shower!

Comfortable well appointed hotel in a very good location.

Staff at reception on check and check out very friendly and courteous

Bar staff need to take some pointers from above- over familiar calling me( 60 year old woman) “ M’dear”. Patronising and inappropriate. I have celiacs disease and there was very little I could eat on the menu at downstairs bar or room service other than olives.

Grand Stay

The room was well sized and set out. The bed was very comfortable, with power points near the bedside table suitable for charging my phone. The bathroom was huge, with both a shower and bath as well as well lit mirrors. The location was great, with restaurants downstairs and easy walking distances to attractions such as SkyTower.

While there is parking, it cost $50 for the two days I was there. Given the CBD location, paid parking was understandable.
