Fijn, mooi hotel met gebruik vh zwembad in prachtig hotel verderop.

Mooi hotel. Wij waren er met Diwali. Het was prachtig versierd. Het zwembad is onder constructie en we mochten daarom gebruik maken van het zwembad in het Taj Palace hotel een paar honderd meter verderop. Dat was heerlijk!!

Exceptional service very very friendly

The whole experience was amazing. The whole team at the yellow brick road made me feel welcome and I enjoyed the menu and the food was outstanding From the gent that made my tea in the morning to the team in the evening where the service was always impeccable. The gentle that also served my room daily gave exceptional service and kindness

The view of all the dome in the centre, still unsure what it is. Maybe a pool there would be better

lovely old property in the heart of CP

have been staying there for years ,its a beautiful old property ,great staff good food

its pet friendly ,i am very scared of dogs ,so i was a little shocked when a dog started knocking on my balcony door, but the hotel sorted it out immediately, the next door neibhours were traveling with a dog. Once i shared my shock they immediately sorted it out.

Hidden Gem

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was huge. Will come and stay here next time in Delhi. They also accommodated early arrival 2 hours before official start time.

Outside of building was more run down then the pictures on Booking.Com but this did not affect our inside environment and stay.

Location, Raj era ambience bathroom was very nice and updated. Housekeeping was great.

Price seemed high for the quality of the infrastructure (climate control was not, electrical outlets dated. Breakfast was definitely a high price. Concierge was found wanting. No advice on tickets for republic day parade or at least telling that they had no idea.

Lovely

The Ambassador is a beautiful heritage hotel in a great location in Delhi. As soon as you enter it feels very welcoming. The staff throughout the hotel are absolutely fantastic and are very warm and helpful. They want you to have a great stay. The rooms are very spacious and are well decorated. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Delhi.

Attention, pas un cinq étoiles…

Hôtel confortable mais assez basique (standard Ibis en Europe) et vieillissant. Très bien situé à proximité du Khan Market (où nous vous recommandons de prendre le petit déjeuner plutôt qu’à l’hôtel) et du métro. Le personnel s’attend ostensiblement à recevoir des pourboires sans que ce ne soit justifié, si bien qu’on se sent comme une vache à lait : c’est déplaisant…

Il manque cependant beaucoup de prestations (machine à café, minibar, peignoirs, sèche cheveux fonctionnel, produits pour la salle de bain, tels que coton tiges etc.). Les chambres sont mal insonorisées. La salle de bain a connu de meilleurs jours = beaucoup de moisissures + notre douche était constamment bouchée. Les espaces communs sont froids et impersonnels, pas du tout l’ambiance à laquelle on s’attend. Les restaurants de l’hôtel sont quelconques et hors de prix.

Receptions and customer care is bad

Every thing is ok

They have charged my credit card extra. When I contact at receptions they told me that it was refunded within one week. But so far it was not refunded. I mailed them twice and even call them but so far no response on mail and not attending the call properly

The perfect downtown friendly location to explore Delhi with style

The perfect location to explore Delhi and a nice collonial feel to the place. Staff were amazing, helpful, welcoming and creative. I couldn’t want for anything.

A little more light would have been nice, and the pool was under rennovation, but understandable.

Carpets in some instances need change specific places were damp and lift too narrow definitely cant fit in 6 people even though it says but well decorated

Beautiful historic hotel with great staff

I love the architecture and location of the building. Breakfast was great and the staff was amazing and kind.

I didn’t like the bathroom too much. My bathroom didn’t look like any of the pictures shown on the Hotel page but it was suffice.

good choice if you like shopping!

very spacious and clean, amazing location next to the Khan Market which was good for shopping. very friendly staff and always trying their best to help us (eg sending post cards, calling taxi etc)

the property is definitely a lot more dated than the pictures in the website suggest with limited facilities - the gym particularly was a let down.

An excellent value, wonderfully relaxing

I liked the location - proximity to Kahn Market and the Taj hotel. I liked the staff - they were all very friendly and helpful. I liked the room - very big and having a suite worked very well for us. The massage was fantastic! And I liked using the pool at the Taj.

The door lock (Room 208) was not functioning properly so we had to get new keys made every time we exited. The drain in the tub wasn't good.

Perfect stay for shopping

Housekeeping was exceptional specially ram kumar very understanding

I inform the front office night person on my fist day of arrival that the housekeeping amenities are as in the fir single check in but we we’re couples so I requested for double amenities and the guy said he is going to do it now, but till Morning unless I talked to ram kumar problem didn’t solve, but overall all was amazing Also the food at the restaurant was so bad and the price was very high compared to other place in delhi, we ordered mutton and veg biryani and both was no biryani taste, flavor, texture, the mutton was boneless and very dry chewy, can’t eat at all, the server was as very professional and ask us about the food but didn’t offer if we want to have another biryani or other food.
