I think it was during our Norwegian trip most beautiful and romantic hotel where we stayed. The hotel is next to the fjord and you can take a sunset walk or admire the beautiful nature. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant, which offers very tasty food. The rooms were nice, comfortable and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Parking is possible next to the main building and is free of charge. I think we met the hotel owners - very nice people. All the best to you, you have a wonderful place.

The view, the fact it was the only available hotel during xmas
very old (ancient maybe is a better word) building, the wind blew in all the old windows

the location and atmosphere were awesome.

The breakfast was OUTSTANDING: fresh, quality ingredients...from the eggs, to the smoked fish, to the freshly baked bread. We also loved walking down the short path to the bathing area, which was magical - what a luxury. The owner, Lars, made us feel right at home and helped us to appreciate the history of Langesund Bad; a true gem!
I would have liked to have had a hair dryer in the room.

All good
Toilet in room was not functioning to expectation

Kids loved it !
One would expect a bit more maintenance considering the money-machine it is. Minimum effort for maximum charge summarizes our experience. A freshen up is well overdue.

Breakfast was good, also dinner the day before
Poor sound insulation, unpractical bathroom, unpractical bed (only one thin pillow), poor maintenance, had to ask for clean towels (there was a used one in the bathroom)

The tv was not working

We were promised to get a room with balcony, which was the reason why we chose this place. Althought we asked again before we arrived, if we can get a room with balcony and the answerr was YES, we did not get it.

Location next to the sea is amazing
Not really hotel standard. Decor in rooms are cheap and old, cheap and sparse furniture, beds uncomfortable and we found trash from previous guests. Not worth the money.

This place has an amazing location on the coast with view of the seaside and the bathing places. The hotel is very charming and cozy. You can park right in front of it and reach all the places in town by foot. The rooms are spacious and offer great views of the surroundings. You can use Apple TV for entertainment.
The hotel could use a renovation. Since it is in a very old, historical building, our room had some mold in the bathroom. Moreover, as we are talking about a higher end location, the restaurant service and the attention to details (bathroom soap, glasses, etc.) could be improved.

The location is stunning, the staff is lovely, the food is good! Beautiful spot to go for a swim and go on a long walks. Langesund centre is just around the corner with cute cafes, shops and restaurants.
the double beds were a little too soft and the rooms are quite simple.

The bed was good. The surroundings are beautiful.
My room (#1) was next to a very noisy, slamming front door. The whole place really needs maintainance. I was disappointed with the dinner - the meat was dry, the potatoes not cooked enough.
