Ein Traum - willkommen im Paradies

Traumhaft schönes Resort - extrem sauber - ruhig - man hat eine gute Privatsphäre weil es nicht so viele Gäste gibt - wunderschöne Villen und vor allem extrem herzliches und gastfreundliches Personal.

Great uncrowded and quiet , amazing location

Location is outstanding. The layout of the property is relaxed. The service is very good. The room size and feel is excellent. The shuttle service to Bali Collective is efficient. The place has a non resort feel, in the sense it is not crowded or a cookie cutter resort beach holiday. For those looking for non hurried or non crowded and a more quiet holiday. Huge contrast to our resort at Seminyak. Afternoon high tea was nice. The restaurant menu has many veg options. The restaurant food was very good. The dinner by the beach was amazing.

The fitting could be more new. The pool side deck could use a coat of polish. The breakfast for an ala carte type was not outstanding. The yogurt was not perfect, the options were good but not great. The bread basket could be much better. But its not a deal breaker. Just could use a more high end chef. The ac draft come directly on our heads at night. The shower outside the villa for post pool use was prickly, and needed a new shower head. Small things, but for usd 750 plus a night these should be better.

Its serene setting is perfect for those seeking peace, yet the hotel’s convenient driver service means that exploring local attractions is hassle-free. Celebrations:Celebrating Christmas and New Year at The Royal Santrian was a delightful experience. The events were not only entertaining but showcased the incredible talent of the staff, adding a unique and enjoyable aspect to our holiday. Santa was the best!!!!!

Accommodation was very nice, the villa was beautiful, spacious and well equipped. We also liked the welcome from the staff and the staff in general.

The beach was bad and it was important for us. If you only want to spend your days by the pool, in the villa, or in the beach bar on the nearby beach, no problem. But if your desire is to enjoy relaxing swimming in the sea (which was our case), this is not a good place. The low tide was very strong and the sea was gone for a big part of the day and even without this, there was a lot of watersports traffic, and the beach was quite dirty, so not much relax. We only spent two days here, so maybe we just had bad luck and it might be different other days. I’d appreciate having this information (that you cannot really swim here) before we made the choice.

It was amazing.

It was very clean and well designed. The breakfast options could be more. The whole crew was great. Hotel has amazing atmosphere. I love the villa concept.

I was expecting to have more sophisticated SPA and there were no gym and Sauna at the hotel.

An amazing place

Size of the villa and the private swimming pool is perfect. Staff is super welcoming and friendly, basically service quality is too high. Details are given attention like small cute notes come with our breakfast :) or when we drank apple juice more, they realised it and started to put more apple juice instead of others in our minibar. It was very clean. It is very private in the villa and in the hotel. There are no too many customers and it is not crowded at all. If you are looking for a comfy, private, resting environment, this place is awesome. We'll go there again for sure. Thank you for everything.

One small detail, too much chlorine in the private swimming pool. I am not an expert but It feels like water needs to be replaced instead of raising the chlorine level. There is no gym.

Perfectly relaxing and luxuriously serene

The Royal Santrian is a peaceful and luxurious retreat, the property and the villas are magnificent. The gardens are meticulously maintained and look beautiful day and night. The villa is enormous with dark wood furniture, marble and stone features. The bathroom is especially beautiful. The private pool is perfect, with a beautiful tile making the water look very inviting. This property would suit those looking for serenity and privacy. There was no annoying loud music being played at the beach. The beach is very nice, no surf on the shore break (Dec-Jan), so really good for swimming laps at high tide. Staff are obliging and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The restaurant staff were all very lovely and professional. The housekeeping staff took quiet notice of what I might need or like and made sure to update the room (laundry rack, extra water, changed the flowers, put fresh frangipani on my villa doorbell). They were my favourite staff, although the pool and beach staff were also very nice. You can borrow a bike and ride it along the beach path past all the other resorts. Upon returning, you can see that the Royal Santrian has a very high-end feel and presentation about it. The outdoor pool looks stunning when viewed from reception, you can see all the way past it to the beach, through the palm trees.

I would have preferred a buffet style breakfast rather than a'la carte. I understand this could be wasteful with only 20 villas and people often ordering breakfast into their villas, however I do think that the fruits, breads and cereals could be buffet style. Toast - Not the best. Thin and not toasted. More like stale bread. But I will get over this as the mei goreng, sushi and teriyaki pizza on the main menu were delicious! The breakfast croissants were also very good. Egg - the standard serve in any hotel, restaurant or cafe I have been anywhere in the world is two eggs. Serving only one comes across as cheap, which lets down the hotel that is so luxurious in every other possible way.

The facilities were wonderful, the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing with a lot of different options available, even for a vegetarian like myself. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, appreciated and made sure to give us the best possible experience.

Just a small thing on checking out we left our Villa3 staff were waiting out the front to check the villa 2 went in and 1 stayed talking to us. We knew they’re were making sure all was ok, just say what you’re doing as it was a little intimidating
