Es un hotel pequeño, acogedor

Poca iluminación en la habitación y una de las bombillas de lampara no servía, en la ducha el agua caliente no salía , parece que tiene calentador central y no sube por momentos el agua

No hot water, lights next to bed didn’t work. No power plugs next to bed. Noisy: You can hear your neighbors talk. The breakfast could be bigger.

I had a nice , quiet and comfortable room in this beautiful colonial style mansion . The staff was outstanding , very welcoming and helpful . right in the city , but still very quiet .

Charming hotel in an older building that was a former colonial home. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I was in room 204. The bed was hard and uneven. WiFi was weak from this room. Also, the bathroom for the room upstairs was directly above, and you can hear *everything*.

Great value, lovely hotel in the center of the White City

Hotel is decorated nicely. Lovely (small) balcony. I had the large triple room which was nice and spacious (nice small view balcony). Breakfast good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good wifi, hot water, security. Good location, 5 min walk to center and next to the famous bridge. Great value for the money, highly recommend.

Great place to stay

The best ever. Starting with location, then the staff. Walter was incredible, always willing to assist with a great smile. I've traveled a lot and it's hard to exceed my expectations, but this time La Herrería Colonial did. 5 stars for sure.

If I have to mention something with room for improvement I would change the super sized beds to a regular king size beds to avoid the partition between mattresses. It becomes a little uncomfortable at times.

The breakfast was OK...could have a little more variety. They didn't have much in the way of nutritious offerings like yogurt with fruit or oatmeal.

Highly recommended historic house in the center of historic Popayán

Ever wanted to stay in a lovely colonial house without breaking the bank? Well, then this hotel is for you! Located right in the heart of Popayán gorgeous historic quarter, I enjoyed staying in this nice, lowkey property. From the start, everything hit the right notes. For example, the hotel accommodated an early check-in. My room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. And I was able to park my car in the quiet cul-de-sac right next to the hotel. The main sights in town are all within walking distance of the hotel, as are the town's top restaurants.

The bathroom was quite tiny. This may be an issue for someone who is tall or large.

Nice experience

By the standards of budget travel, it is a luxury. A spacious, comfortable room in style, in a historic building, in the historic center of a beautiful city. Very helpful staff, English spoken. I would stay longer if I could. Nice experience altogether.

Nice old colonial building, the rooms breathe the same atmosphere. Rooms are spacious, wifi is solid, breakfast you can choose from five options and is solid. Most important: it's in the historic centre of Popayan

Good value

The house is nice and well located. There is always someone around the front desk trying to help with anything you need. The bed was big and comfortable.

The room we got would benefit from renovations. Breakfast was ok but not great. We could hear every single noise in the rooms around ours and other guests woke us up a few times, although never late at night or early in the morning.
