Resort by the sea, the rooms were clean and tidy. Close to shops, restaurants, night market.
Otherwise, the employees are friendly and hospitable.
The resort needs minor renovations.

Good value for the price. I payed 30 euros for 2 nights for a room with a fan. Rooms with AC are more expensive (25 euro/night) and I didn't think it was worth that much. The location is very pretty, green with plants and the staff is true to Thaï standards 🙏
Loved the experience, the room (big room with bathroom and fridge), away from the parties of other beaches.

Everything was amazing, quiet cozy place next to the beach, was clean and comfortable ☺️

Happy with my stay. Thank you.
It's just difficult with car parking space if you travel with a car. Resort can accommodate maximum 3 cars, but difficult to turn around, go in and go out. But if you without car it's perfect value for money. I would come back again.

the location was right on the beach. The wifi is quite strong.
The room had a odd smell and cracks all around the doors and windows. The mattresses also had no covers and were very uncomfortable.

Location is the main USP of Magic resort. Next to beach, walking distance to convenient store, shopping, party. Staff is very friendly. Perfect place for family.

The location is very nice, right at the beach and well located in the centre of lamai.
Also the villa was very well maintained inside. Cleaning everyday
Some parts outside were a bit run down, however, there was a lot of construction going on, so maybe that was just because it was preseason.

Location was ok, nice on the beach. However a bit out the way for the social aspect (a few bars on the strip but not a lot!)
We stayed for 2 nights, the first night was ok, lots of bugs etc (take bud repellent!!).
The second day we came back to our room to a bee infestation (maybe can’t be helped however…) we obviously asked to change rooms because of this. They used to fly spray which got rid of the majority of them but we still didn’t feel comfortable staying in the room so we asked to move rooms. The man said to ask his wife, so when we approached his wife she began to shout at us for using the aircon (not relevant to what we were asking) we didn’t realise we couldn’t use the aircon as we had aircon and a remote and weren't told we couldn’t use it!!! We were asking to switch rooms and she just kept shouting about the aircon to which we apologised and eventually she gave us a new room. Was very uncalled for.
We got to the new room which had mould in, but could not be bothered to complain so we just left it.
All in all, this hotel is very run down. There was rubbish everywhere and just didn’t look like it was looked after. I get times after covid were hard however we didn’t have a great experience and won’t be returning.

Price/location ratio measures up. Integration with surrounding businesses/services
e g.massage services, eateries, transport. 'American breakfast' is OK Proximity to beach (right on it), Genuinely helpful and inviting owner/staff. Very welcoming.
Infrequency of room service. WiFi dodgy. Overall, though pretty good for a 'Two' star hotel given where it's situated.

Owner is also renting jet skies and they take lots of space in resort. They dont suit in the resort, to crowded
Dirty beach in front of the resort. Staff didnt care about the mess.
Spacious apartment for the familly, close to the beach.
Location in Lamai.

Excellent location. 100 meters or less to beach depending on your Bungalow location. Bars and restaurants at top of access lane but no noise at night. On site beach restaurant and breakfast room with wonderful sea views. Wooden sun beds are converted to tables and benches for night time beach dining. Free Wifi in bungalow and beach restaurant. Free sun beds, beach towels and parasols. On site water sports include Jet skies, surf boards and air boarding if you’re brave enough to give it a go (google it). Great friendly staff. Fresh towels every day and bed linen changed every 3/4 days. Silent air con and fridge. We go to Lamai every year but our first time staying here. Wish we had found this gem years ago. Will definitely be back to Magic Resort in 2021.
Nothing really but partner likes a swimming pool as she doesn’t like swimming in the sea. Hotel next door has a pool. Sorted.

Location
Room description was unclear, and upon arrival we have discovered that our booking does not include AC. We had to pay extra, but air con was broken, so for a day we couldn't use our room as they were fixing it. Lady at the reception was super unfriendly and wanted to charge us extra for payment with card. Room was clean, but all bathroom equipment is old and barely functional.
Only good thing about the place is excellent location.
