Take care of your guests

One of the receptionists, the youngest and smallest, helped us with the lizards we had in the room, always willing to help! Thank you The drinks were delicious, thank you Samantha for your service and the other guy. The food was also pretty fast except when the girl who wears jeans forgot our order.

15 day stay We arrived at 2:30 pm, the girl at the reception told us that we couldn't check in until 3 pm, okay, we were about to sit down on some chairs outside and a young girl from the reception came out and told us that we could check in now that the room was ready (strange, it only took a minute) Days without hot water 4 days without wifi we had to ask to change rooms, (we still had no hot water) We only had 3 days of hot water to be exact out of 15. Shouldn't they give us some compensation for this? When I'm paying for all the services and I don't even get half of it? Every day we had to ask for beach towels, something that should be incorporated into the service. Only twice out of 15 days did a guy take an interest in the subject and bring us towels without asking, one of the 5 helpful employees. The penultimate day we asked for 2 towels and they told us that they didn't have any available at the moment, we didn't understand since we were 3 guests in total, how can it be that they don't have towels? We went to the lounge chairs at the Skylark and they offered us towels to a full hotel, see the difference. The rooms were made very late, the towels were torn and dirty. The last day at 5pm, we wanted to shower but we didn't have hot water or towels since no one had made the room. I spent my birthday while staying there, the hotel showed zero detail. A man who was also staying there gave me some beers and paid a man to play the guitar because the hotel had no intention of doing anything. These are details that add up to a good stay. We had a tour at 7.30am and asked if they could get us hot water for our thermos, did they solve anything for you? Me neither. They were unable to lend us an electric kettle to fix it. As easy as that. Luckily our van driver got us hot water right away, he cared more than the 14 hotel employees.

My stay was okay. I would stay there again for sure

The drinks at the bar was okay. The beach was great. My kids had a blast this visit was for my son it was his birthday

The room I chose I didn’t get it. I wanted a room with 2 bed which I booked online and when I got there I have to settle for a room with one big king bed and I didn’t get a refund for the extra I paid for room with 2 beds.

Overall the ambiance is nice and quiet.

I enjoyed the room the shower was uniquely built. Stay was friendly and made my stay quite easy.

They did have a trolly for me bags so I had to lug them all to the room.

Great location and nice room!

Super location on the beach! The best part of 7 mile beach. Nice and very clean room surrounded by beautiful garden :) Fantastic bed and nice shower. Great housekeeping!!! Nice bar on the beach.

The pool was dirty as hell :( Renovation still taking place, so nothing look like on the photos. No tables & umbrellas around the pool and full of dust. Bar closing at 9pm.

It's a heated pool. The rooms are rustic and woodsy.

There's no fridge in the room. The lunch/dinner menu didn't have many options.

Best value on the beach!

The rooms are perfect for the price, good value, everything you need, no frills. Clean, cool, safe. The restaurant was also great for dinner!

The toilet paper wasn't refilled in the women's bathroom.

Stunning

The location is amazing, the beach is absolutely beautiful. The room was stunning and we mentioned my husband's birthday. They wrote happy birthday in flowers which were lovely. Breakfast was also lovely.

My stay was overall, great. It was my first time staying there but certainly not the last. Nice.

The breakfast was tasteful. Just took a long time to get it but when it arrives, it was good. Simone was awesome. She was courteous, friendly yet quite professional.

I would like to see a chair for sitting in the room.

Loved the positioning. Staff were friendly. Massage was great!

Service was really slow. Needed more people to run bar and kitchen and pool area towels etc. Lights didnt work and TV stopped working. No hairdryer in room. When requested did not turn up had to go ask again.

Love this place. My family has been going for 13hrs now.

Friendly staff, very clean, beautiful beach location, has lounge chairs and umbrellas.

Wish every room had a mini fridge no charge.

Overall we enjoyed our stay….we are booked again in June.

Everything was good….we enjoyed the closeness of the beach and pool The food was very good I understand there is some construction going on but it did not interfere with my time It would be nice if the things listed below could be fixed as I have already booked another stay in June and I would like the same room if it was possible please Room 308

Just a couple of things Faucet in bathroom needs tightened …….it was wobbly Door frame in bathroom needs painting.

feels like we were visiting friends again

we love that it was right on the beach and close to other restaurants. it is small and guests feel like family

peddlers bothering guests on the beach. We like to buy food on the beach and support some venders but some don’t know when to stop. we missed the security guard that has been there in our past stays

The breakfast was cooked fresh to order authentic jamacian cuisine and service with a smile all staff were amazing and helpful the location in comparison to price was lovely

At night they put a black cover over the front gate. This made it difficult to identify at night. But found it with satnav

don’t book here.

I called booking.com to confirm through them that the hotel didn’t have construction (the reviews around my travel date complained of construction noises. including the fact that there’s nothing stated by booking.com or Negril Palms of construction being in the works). they said there wasn’t any construction which wasn’t true. when I got there, they would start early & loudly. then they would turn the water off unless you called then waited for them to get back to you about turning it back on. Which wasn’t ever immediately or anything similar to a timely fashion. I was even asked “Do you need the water?”...... well of course I need what I paid for. after going back & forth with booking.com & them trying to contact a “manager” I still wasn’t satisfied with the outcome. TERRIBLE.

overall we really enjoyed our stay and we’re already planning to go back in a few months

we love the location right on the beach and the friendly staff and yummy food

the rooms need updates and they’re was construction going on on some of the buildings so it was noisy during the day but didn’t affect us much cause we were hanging out on the beach during construction hours

tv didn’t work there was construction going on in the rim directly infront mine so it was exceptionally loud. bathroom was not clean and poorly designed so it was just constantly wet

Second time we have stayed there, will again.

i love the beach and pool. it will be great when we can have 3 meals a day served. I know staffing is hard right now but more help in the morning is needed for breakfast. some people have to get to the airport and it is so slow they have to go hungry.

The guy at the bar was a little cold. seem to have an attitude about something.
